At Chateau Louis we strive to provide the freshest top quality products available. Our beef is Alberta Triple A, the wild sockeye salmon is from B.C. , the lamb is local Alberta. All sauces, salad dressings and desserts are freshly made in the hotel kitchen.
We believe that meals should be enjoyed and not rushed. Good food takes time to properly prepare and we will endeavour to make every meal memorable.
Chateau Louis is the first Gluten Free Verified hotel in North America, recognized by the Canadian Celiac Association.

We had a really good brunch! The ladies waiting on us were extremely friendly, accommodating, and attentive. We have not experienced such exceptional customer service anywhere in years! The chefs were on top of their game; the food was fresh, cooked to perfection, they were also extremely attentive and friendly as well. I have to highlight the Eggs Benedict - they had a perfect runny egg and a very well balanced hollandais sauce! What a treat to find so well prepared on a buffet!

I had a worker constantly staring at me why service was 4/5 and then I had some cat fur in my food, or dog, I wouldn’t know, I do know I don’t have any pets

Nobody told us they had a separate omelette station. We found out halfway through our meal. There was no scrambled eggs although they made scrambled eggs separately and they were very basic and just put on a plate. They only had eggs benedict. It was very basic in selection and flavor. The staff were really nice to deal with though. Had to ask for drinks most of the time rather than them come over though as they were always busy doing other things. The food was very average and was not worth the price. We would not go back.

Food was great. Some of the best whipped cream melted chocolate and waffles I’ve ever had. Good variety and great quality of food. One small annoying thing. we asked for water refills twice and never got any.

The food was not worth a 50 dollar buffet. The mashed potatoes tasted like dishwater, the carved beef was tough and the meringue dessert smelt like fish. Also to note the pop was flat. We found that the options given were options we could have been able to eat anywhere as they were already naturally gluten free (other than the gravy and couple desserts).

We love The gluten-free buffet at Royal Coach. It’s a safe place for my celiac husband without the need to ask question on anything. Everything is really good and the deserts ….OMG so good. Ps the wait staff are amazing and caring. Thank you

My cousin and I have been going to Royal Coach every year for over 10 years to celebrate our birthdays. Usually we go to the Sunday brunch but this year we decided to do the Saturday buffet. The food was excellent as always (the beef wasn't quite as tender as I had hoped but still good). The service was first rate. We will be back again next year. This is also a place I like to take my adult grandchildren when I haven't seen them in awhile - their is a selection to meet everyone's preferences.
