Best food and service yet!!!!!
Our waitress, hostess, was very nice.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Always will enjoy eating at Roy’s.
The food is always great at this restaurant and the service is outstanding as well. We went there for my friends birthday and they do birthday celebration great as well.
We had a wonderful afternoon & the service was wonderful.
Hawaiian martinis set the tone. Followed by lobster potstickers entree then molten lava cake.
Excellent food and service
Roy’s was amazing as usual. The butterfish and short rib combo was to die for. Great experience!!
Service was bad food was over priced and underwhelming. Will not return
We loved Forrest! He wasn’t our server, but took care of us for n the beginning. He was fun and had such a friendly way about him! Delicious food! We loved it!
Celebration for new job in 2022 After 21 month pandemic Layoff. Shannon was one of the best servers ever! Happy to return to this Roy’s location as two others have closed. Great to have a five star dining experience again.
The food was underwhelming in presentation and flavor
Another great experience
My first time to any Roy's. I brought clients and colleagues and we all had amazing experiences. The server was excellent and the food was even better. We will definitely be back!
We were a table of eight people and everyone really enjoyed dinner. Appetizers were very good. The main corses were the highlight. The Butter Fish was fantastic as was the scallops and Sea Bass
The food was amazing, but what made the experience great was the efficient and friendly team that went out of the way to accommodate our last minute booking and made it a fun evening
The service at this Roy's restaurant cannot compare to the other ones that we attended in the past.
The server took about 30 minutes to give us straws that we requested.
There were very few patrons during lunch and yet our meal took over 30 minutes to bring to our table.
The portion for the price is very small and when we asked for bread, they said they do not serve bread??
Further, we were appalled that the restaurant really did not give us enough validation to cover the parking costs? All the other Roy's that we went to from Honolulu, Maui, La Jolla, Las Vegas always had free parking-
I will not go back to this Roy's in the future, and probably not be back for a while.
Disappointed with service, small quantity, and felt that something was missing.
Everything was amazing. Our server was helpful, attentive and made our night super enjoyable. We arrived at 9:30 but were not rushed to leave. The food is to die for.
Finally convinced the husband to get Roy’s and we are definitely going to make it one of our favorite date night place
The seafood is fresh and innovatively and deliciously prepared. The staff is attentive and friendly. The ambience inside the restaurant is lovely, and it's set in a fun spot near one end of the Anaheim Garden Walk, so plenty of shopping and entertainment options to do before or after your meal as well.
Thank you for a wonderful 2022 New Years Celebration!
Very loud. The starter was excellent. I ordered the bouillabaisse and it was good but the server didn’t provide a dish to discard the shells. I asked for one and she brought one. The Mai Tai was very weak. And the dessert was boring - chocolate torte.
I am only reviewing for their New Year’s Eve pre-fix meal experience. Overall, it was very disappointing. We came for our anniversary and I remember Roy’s as being fine dining with good service and romantic ambiance. It was far from that. We paid more than $350 for a meal that felt like we could of had anywhere else. It was extremely loud, and the server was rushing. I don’t blame the servers because it was busy and I assume they were trying to get more people sat but the overall experience was very lackluster. Food was good but not worth what we paid. We also made reservation but was not even sitting in the main dining room.
The New Year's Eve Menu, was terrible.
Limited choices and overpriced.
Hopefully they don't repeat this Next year
A nice place to eat dinner with the family.
I ordered the Wowzie Salad and Classic Combo, my wife ordered the Lobster Bisque and Shellfish Sampler, and our daughter ordered the pasta. I also had the Tiki POG Punch and my wife had the Mai Tai. Lastly, we had a bottle of Cake Bread Chardonnay.
Our server was friendly and professional.
Wonderful fixed Christmas dinner. We enjoyed everything. One dinner was the lobster bisque soup with filet mignon and crab cake and bread pudding. The other was the lobster potstickers with ahi tuna and lobster tail and chocolate dessert. Just wonderful attentive service.
Great dinner and ambiance.
The pre set Christmas menu was meh for what we paid for. Also our server wasn’t as attentive as the others we witnessed
We were seated as soon as we arrived. The Ambience was very nice. Our waiter was very personable and explained the dinner choices to us. The food and martinis were excellent. The spacing of the appetizers and main course was perfect. We will definitely return.
Excellent everything! Best short ribs I ever had!!
Great atmosphere: a vibrant, intimate dining room. Tables adorned in white linen tablecloth's - what you would expect from a traditional steakhouse, which Roy's is, but with a tropical twist. The surf items on the menu are unique - expect to see creative use of island ingredient across the menu, with some subtle Japanese fusion. The appetizers and cocktails are top rate. I was a little disappointed in the range of steaks offered (menu is more surf-centric), but the flavors are outstanding, and the service top rate. My family enjoyed the Prix Fix menu on Christmas Eve, and we highly recommend visiting Roy's when in the area.
Did not let us know about holiday menu only option
Great food, brought out quickly, hot, delicious. Excellent, attentive service
Traditional Christmas Eve dinner out. A break from home cooking and holiday bustle. Thanks for making it such a pleasant experience.
Holiday decor was poor, for an upscale restaurant they had a cheap poorly decorated tinsel tree. The food was good but very small portions for the price. We had to go through a drive through afterwards because everyone was starving! We won’t be coming back!
It's near Disneyland, so prices are elevated. Food was not worth what we paid, but the service by Andrew was excellent. He took special care of our party of eight, making sure the kids were fed quickly, and he was on top of our drinks and apps. Food was okay, but be prepared for overpriced $50+ for fish. The shellfish sampler was probably the best entree on the table.
Beautiful dinner .. food and service was wonderful!
We celebrated my husband’s 69th birthday. Roy’s was amazing. Great food and great service. My husband started with the Lobster bisque. It was delicious.
We both had the lobster, scallop and shrimp combo. It too was amazing. The manager visited our table to personally say happy birthday to my husband. Great touch of excellence.
Food was amazing
