Took a friend here to celebrate their 40th birthday, great atmosphere, the starters and cocktails were lovely, our waitress was amazing, catered to our every need, she was very courteous and a credit to this establishment. I would definitely visit again.

One of my favorite places to go in London. Had a wonderful meal plus great cocktails and half price from 5-8pm. £12 for a giant pornstar martini - brilliant value.

We were served relatively promptly (about 10 minutes or so) and we ordered our drinks and food at the same time on Saturday 27th October at approximately 7:15 pm. Our starters arrived quickly, but our drinks had been left on the bar with no one bringing them to the table so we asked for them to be brought over. When we finished our starters and waiting for our mains to arrive, a waitress asked us if we had eaten our main course, to which we replied we were still waiting. It arrived soon later and then when we were halfway through, the table next to us were halfway through their desserts when the same waitress who served us told them that when they had finished they were to come up to the bar and pay. She then looked at our table, clearly able to see that we had only just started our mains and said 'the same for you guys'.

I thought this was appaling service and extremely rude as we may have wanted to see the dessert menu. We weren't checked on throughout our meal, nor were we offered other drinks so my Dad was forced to asked someone as they were passing. When the table next to us left, the waitress was sanitising the table, but clearly not taking care as she sprayed it all over my mother's meal without even apologising or seeming to notice. My Dad order the jerk chicken burrito which is wrongly described as jerk chicken is usually a spicy/tomato based marinade whereas he received chicken with a cream/herb coating.

When we were cleared of our mains, we asked to see the dessert menu but we were so disappointed by the service we had received we decided not to stay.

The food was nice, but the service was appaling and we will not be returning again.

Lovely venue, was really impressed with the food! Good gluten free options for my partner too.
Waitress was very helpful and we then decided to stay for a drink in their bar - the cocktails are fab!

Come here not too long ago for a business meeting with some clients, wasn't too much noise which was great for our party. Food went down extremely well, we did have a vegan in the group who was catered for, the waitress was happy to answer all of our food questions. I will certainly be coming back.

Not a very good place to eat out
Seven single Nachos in one plate and small about of dips for £ 5.50. A total Rip off as a starter.
My main main course was better .
The service was adequate.
Ambiance was decent but there was only hen nights in the rooms.

Cocktails and happy hour was good. Waiters did not know about anything we were saying and we had to double check everything we had ordered - once food had arrived it was somewhat cold and the chicken burger was not a burger but two chicken fillets, the chips with the burger were too salty and had to be sent back. Once we paid the card machine ran out of paper and they were not able to give a card recipe for an £80 check, only a VAT receipt.

Ruby Blue used to be one of my favourite places to dine. Not having gone for a while, I thought I would take my friend there for a birthday treat. The food and ambiance is just not the same. We thought the food was pretty much average. However if you are looking for a quick place to dine on a budget, then Ruby blue is ok. No longer one of my favourites but not bad value with opentable offer.

The service was horrendous. So slow and there was no one in there, absolute joke. However the food was ok and the prices were alright as it was half price off the whole menu. Will not go again due to every drinks order taking around 30 minutes.

Would not recommend. From the outset they denied knowledge of our booking, despite it being done through opentable at the start of the day. Venue dingy and dirty, and apart from a decent starter, food cold and unappetising. Cocktails watery. Couldn't even pay by card at the table, had to go up to a cash register. Perhaps the venue devotes more attention to the nightclub side of their business, but they really should either smarten up their restaurant or close it if they don't want to invest in it.

Good food at a very good price. It was a Friday night and we had 50% off the bill - £23 total bill for three courses - gob smacked!

Lovely ambience/decor and good food however, the service was not great - staff could do with a bit of training!

We ordered our starters and mains at the same time. As soon as we finished eating our starters, the mains arrived (the starter plates hadn't even been cleared from our table!). Would take a while to catch someone's eye to serve us, even when we had the bill and were ready to pay!

Fun evening and excellent value. Our waiter Nelson was superb and really looked after us and the Manager (Italian guy) really went out of his way to make sure we had a good evening and were looked after. Nelson and the Manager really made it into a special evening and we all thank them for looking after our group so well.

Picked Ruby Blue for pre theatre dinner menu as was 50% off with open table. Waiting staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and appeared to just be wandering around. Food was average. When we asked for the bill it took twenty minutes for the manager to bring it to us after we asked three waiters where the bill was who told us only the manager could use the till. After twenty minutes I got quite fed up and went to find the manager who just laughed at me. Picked Ruby Blue because I thought it'd be quick before the theatre but that backfired. Would absolutely not recommend.

We were told it would be no more than 9 minutes before someone took an order for drinks while we read the menu. The place was very full but most people were leaving at 7pm so we waited, the queue at the till was very long. After 20 minutes we tried to attract someone's attention, no luck. We waited another 5 minutes and decided to leave. They were overwhelmed and so busy they didn't care who we were as long as new did not bother them. No wonder they offer 50% off !

We spent 3 days in London and booked every meal in advance just to make sure we have tables and we will have nice food, based on the reviews at OpenTable. This place is very close to the tube station but also a nice are to discover by walk. There are many theaters around it.
The service was outstanding, they were all very kind with us, the staff, and the 50% off is valid on almost everything so I believe this is a great deal. There were at least 4 hen parties so you can imagine how loud and drunk they were, OMG, we requested another table closer to a quieter corner and they made a table for us immediately. The place was full so we had to wait for the mains a lot, I mean really a lot, but the staff apologized every 10mins and at the end we received something absolutely for free, as a compensation, and also staff had a drink with us before we left, so we really felt special, and as a family. they were so kind with us. There were also a lot of birthday celebrations, and the whole place was singing together every time, it was funny! By the way main course, a fish, is one of the best I have ever eaten.

We enjoyed our dinner here on a Thursday night - the restaurant was quiet, which allowed for good catch-up with my friend, but the bar next door was busy so it's fun to have the best of both worlds here. Happy Hour and Open Table 50% discount meant the meal was very reasonably priced and we would return again on this basis.

The only negative comment I can make about Ruby Blue was its lack of patrons when we visited. The waiter was excellent and helped make up for the lack of atmosphere. We could easily have stopped at the sharing platters which were large! Or, perhaps they all sounded so good we ordered too many. The main courses and desert were really nice and again substantial. We were on a 50% of deal which somehow on the night we went included ALL drinks! Would definitely recommend when offer available.

Husband and I had booked the 50% offer on food just before we went to the Theatre. We both ordered the fillet steak, we both would usually choose more well done than medium but were told medium was the most it could be cooked. We both decided to go for it anyway. Well when it arrived and we tucked in neither of us were disappointed that it was a little rarer than our usual choice. They were absolutely delicious! We also had a desert each and a bottle of red. It was a little dark in there for a 5.30pm sitting but all in all it is after all a night club/bar. Not our first time there and definitely won't be our last. Thank you for a great start to what turned out to be a great evening.
