Great food, lovely staff and reasonable prices. Would defo recommend
6 of us went with the 60 euro meal.voucher which included 3 course meal, bottle wine and 2 cocktails for two. Food was fantastic staff so friendly and attentive brilliant ambience. Upstairs there is a fab cocktail bar .would definitely go again
really high quality food in a very pleasant environment. The staff are helpful and friendly; the service is good. I have been here many times and it has always delivered. I will be back. well done rustic stone
Went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday . Very disappointed overall. Food service and overall experience very disappointing compared to previous visits. Had a voucher from taste and we all felt it was really uncomfortable the way we were made to feel regarding the menu for the voucher and having to order your dessert with your mains and starter. Would prefer to pay more and have an enjoyable experience for special occasions! Three of our party had steak and they all said it was just ok and I had the glam burgers which were also very mediocre! Disappointing from start to finish!
Great food and atmosphere
Really nice staff and delicious food
Unbelievable like usual, the best restaurant in Dublin.
Over priced. Starter of prawns no flavour. Steak for 31 euro no flavour. Honestly I can do better at home.
Portion sizes could be a little more generous but food was lovely
Beautiful meal from start to finish! Couldn’t fault anything!
Great value in a lovely atmosphere. Would reccomend.
Very nice service and good
Food
Fabulous meal in the Rustic Stone on a Stormy, wet Saturday last. Warm and cozy atmosphere upstairs. Highly recommend the Rump steak on a stone and the chunky chips with parmesan cheese are to die for. I'll definitely be back!
Amazing food, really enjoyed our experience there. Highly recommend
The whole experience was a little bit of a let down. The staff were very nice and attentive. The steak was quite tough and although the burgers are all supposed to be cooked medium, the one I received was well done. Perhaps we just were unlucky.
It's been a while since I've been and i think menu choice could do with a shake up. I'd like a few more hot stone options for lunch. Otherwise, enjoyed as always. Thanks
Great place but very very busy and loud. However, would go again.
Had a business dinner here. Lovely food and friendly service with a relaxed atmosphere. What’s not to like!
Starter- Chicken wings- bland
Stuffed chilli Peppers- Tasty
Mains
Haddock salad- lovely
Pappardelle - Tasty
Fillet steak on the stone- delicious, didn't like sides
Dessert- Chocolate soup, nice but no variance of texture
Really good, delicious meal, even salads are well seasoned and delicious.
Restaurant was quiet so no real natural atmosphere, exacerbated by unengaged and dishonest team members - I was presented with a wine that I did not order and no effort was made to explain this .
Choices on the menu were poor and prices were exorbitant for what was received - 2 Gin and Tonics were €25 and the cheapest bottle of white wine was €38
So overall a disappointing experience and a bad choice from my perspective.. will not be returning or recommending
Great food and atmosphere. Will be back
Really enjoyed my visit. Lovely restaurant, very helpful staff, food really good. However, I felt gluten free options were limited
Good food very fast service and reasonably priced.
The staff were so professional. The service was quick, and the food was really lovely.
Our experience was very good except they didn't have the steak we requested.
For me it was way too noisy and crowded, but the food was very good en the staff very friendly, funny and helpful!
Food was really good but service disappeared after the main course.
Our waiter Davo was exceptional! The food was delicious, the wine went down a treat and we are looked after so well, We will definitely be coming back and hope to see him again, thank you!
Food of very high quality delivered by friendly staff
Diners sat too close to one another. Very public restaurant, no real ambience, mindful of your elbows and bag/jacket in the way of net table.
We ordered a specific glass of wine each, we did not see it being poured, small glass served instead, nice wine, too pricey.
Burger not worth €18. Tuna cooked on the stone, good quality, but €28? No.
While I enjoyed my lunch at Rustic Stone I felt the menu was limited. I would have liked more choice.
It was superb. We have been before and being back was just as good as the first time . Food was amazing . Staff were fab . I had taken ill , I have Diabetes and your staff came to my aid to bring my sugar levels back up again . Very thankful and will defo return should we be back in Dublin
Amazing food, I got a burger! Next time will definitely get a steak on the stone- they looked great. Good service however the waiter mixed our drinks up first time as there were 4 sets of couples at the back of restaurant. We will be returning thank you!
Ate here last Saturday night with my girlfriend. We were brought to a table in an upstairs area which was more of a ‘landing’ than what felt like an actual restaurant. We were seated at a table where an overhead spotlight shone in my eyes and a number of wires and sockets were permanently in my line of vision. Mentioned the light to one of the overworked waiters and to be fair he initially had the light dimmed but when that didn’t have the desired effect, we were set up with a new table elsewhere. This new table was only a slight improvement as due to spatial constraints we were set up right beside the till which meant that there was a significant amount of activity going on behind me for the duration of the meal. I did get a slight laugh, however, out of the constant ‘psssst psssst’ noise in my ear of staff shining plates with a spray gun at said till. We noticed that more people were seated and subsequently moved from the table we initially vacated so the restaurant must be fully aware that it is not of the required standard yet they persist with seating people there.
The service was quite slow overall and we had to wait quite a bit before our order was initially taken and in between courses. I’d like to emphasise I don’t believe this was the fault of the waiting staff (who were pleasant and helpful) but because the restaurant seemed to be very understaffed. As for the food, the starters were not bad but I cannot understand how they can justify the prices of the main courses. I ordered the sirloin of beef with three peppercorn relish. The actual piece of meat was decent quality but on the small side. It came out pretty much raw and a hot stone was provided so I could cook it to my liking. However, the stone was not hot enough to properly sear the meat so it didn’t feel like I was eating a quality steak. For approximately the same price you can eat a top-class steak in the much nicer setting of somewhere like Suesey Street or Angelina’s.
Won’t be returning.
Amazing meal and lovely waiter. Top marks!!!!The food was absolutely delicious. The steak was perfectly flavoured and complimented by a lovely wine. Definitely will be recommending to my friends and going back soon😊
Myself and my girlfriend ate at your restaurant on Valentines night. We were very disappointed with the selection on the ‘set menu’ that night and the presentation of the table and food was rushed.
The quality and presentation, in particular the dessert were very poor and the service received was minimal.
I usually wouldn’t be fused but considering the price I paid, I have to admit and say I was very disappointed leaving the restaurant.
The standard of food and service wasn’t even close to the price I paid that night for myself and my girlfriend.
I know it is a busy night of the year but that shouldn’t be an excuse.
Main course was excellent but dessert seemed like it was prepared well in advance and just taken out of the fridge. For the price of the valentines menu I thought it could of been better.
The smoked chicken was fantastic! It was a very pleasant lunch overall.
Super experience.... Food delish...... Got there before 6pm........so busy from 6.30!!!!!!!......tables a little tight together!!! But fabulous food..........would certainly like to try again!!! Friendly staff too !!!
