The food was pretty good all round, and good beer selection although none on draft but the main issue was the house wine at £30. We were pretty surprised when the bill came to around £50 per head (3 courses with wine) but the quality didn't really reflect this I don't think.
Decent restaurant for Italian flavour food. Not widest of menus but enough to provide enough variety for everyone. Wine is very pricey.
An excellent evening in this atmospheric venue. The food was superb and the only disappointing thing about it was the lack of pasta layers and the meat between the layers of the lasagne, to much cheese and sauce.
One of our party was vegetarian and the chef prepared a spaghetti carbonara without the ham for her, which she absolutely loved.
The food was quite bland therefore I was disappointed by my meal. Cocktails were the best bit especially as we got there in time to take advantage of happy hour.
There was a draft coming through the closed window that we were seated by upstairs and it was very cold so we had to ask to move tables. The waitress didn't mind and she even put the heater on for us. Service was good - shame about the food!
We popped in to Rustiko some weeks back just looking for somewhere quick to eat. The pasta was so good and the service so friendly we have now been back three more times.
A group of six ate before a show. Good food, good, if relaxed, service.
Great food, service and cocktails - what more could you ask for . Will definitely be back.
Went here for a birthday meal post theatre, and the staff were very attentive even late into the evening. A little bit of miscommunication when it came to my Dad asking whether service had been included and the waitress said no but it had... Food was delicious, the garlic bread was dreamy and they made a real effort with a desert birthday plate which was perfect!
Small restaurant with a chill room on the lower ground. A good range of options on the menu, shame the specials board wasn't highlighted to us though.
Their website stated genuine homemade Italian food yet their menu was very questionable? There were 5 of us and we all something different from the menu and we all felt the food was very bland and lacked flavour/seasoning, it lacked authenticity which was why we had chosen this restaurant.
The food was nice but it was overpriced and had no atmosphere (empty and no music). I wouldn't warn people off it but equally I wouldn't recommend it either. All round ok experience.
We were pleasantly surprised to be able to get a booking for f
a Friday evening in Soho. The decor is rustic as the name and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and wine.
Very good value for the quality odf what we were served.
I wouldnt go here for a quiet meal as there is music but the 1st floor dining room room wasn't too crammed with tables and felt very laid back fro Soho Friday night.
We visited on a Saturday night and it has a nice bustling atmosphere. The menu had lots of choice and the lasagne was gorgeous! We chatted to the owner for a while who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back for a return visit.
Service a bit slow though this was Saturday night and they were very busy. Whitebait tasted overcooked, Lasagne I ordered wasn't really up to scratch and seemed swamped in tomato and cheese without much meat. A ready meal would have been cheaper and would have had the same quality. That said my date seemed happy with her Lobster pasta dish. Good wine and they were helpful enough about that. I think the need to look at food quality more and be a little less frugal with the meat.
Excellent authentic Italian with a modern twist. Great bar downstairs for Italian tapas
We were visiting London and happened upon this place. Lovely dinner.
I organised a small birthday dinner with some friends. The food was great and the staff were friendly. The vibe is relaxed and lovely with nice soft lighting and the food is great - delicious, authentic Italian. Exactly what we were in the mood for, though the menu could have been a little more diverse in terms of pasta dishes. Quite good value for money when reviewing the menu and booking. There is a gratuity added at point of payment that I wasn't previously aware of but this may be common in the UK (in Australia there is not tipping).
I expected the restaurant to be a bit quieter than it was, we were located at a table close to the bar where customers were stood. I had expected the table to be in a similar setting to the pic on the Rustico website!
Great food and they really were very kind in accommodating my friend's birthday, including prosecco! Service was a little bit off at the start as our booking change hadn't been accommodated for (from 2 to 3 people) and we were made to feel a bit bad about making that change, even though we did it online and in advance of the reservation time. However, aside from that it was really nice. Pizza was excellent and cocktails were unusual and great value.
