We were a table celebrating a birthday, the birthday girl thorughly enjoyed her Tuna steak meal, my other daughter really enjoyed her fishy sharer but unable to eat it all as a main! I had butternut squash, aubergine and sweet potato tangine which I found rather laden with too many apricots! Still a very tasty meal and i do like apricots.

Bristol
About the restaurant
Reimagining their much-loved restaurant, Casa will offer a contemporary, accessible, yet refined take on traditional Italian dining, acting as a sibling to Peter’s Michelin-starred Spanish institution Paco Tapas next door. The 66-cover restaurant will offer a similarly relaxed environment in which to enjoy a dynamic menu created by Peter and Executive Chef Joel Breakwell.

Dishes will be made using high quality ingredients from the very best Italian and British producers, working with many of the same local suppliers that the team have partnered with for years. As a nod to the original Casamia

With jamón ready to carve, padrón peppers roasting over the wood fire & sherry straight from the barrel let us transport you to Andalusia.

Our ever changing menu combines traditional tapas with personal interpretations from Michelin starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, whilst staying true to the vibrant and comforting flavours of his heritage.

No tapas bar is worth its salt without a carefully crafted sherry list - just ask Paco! So, we've handpicked ours, and offer them by the glass, bottle or shaken into the finest cocktails.

Thanks to all our amazing suppliers & team we are realising another Sanchez Brothers dream - A modern tapas bar bringing a taste of Andalusia to Bristol. Whether you're coming para picar, for a glass of sherry or a tapas feast we can't wait to see you!

Exceptional in every way. On arrival, our table wasn't quite ready, so we were seated at the bar and given drinks on the house. Staff were brilliant, knowledgeable and lovely. And the food was out of this world. We had the Chef's Special set menu with accompanying sherries and were so full we had to take the desserts home. Every dish was incredible, wish special mentions to the bread (like the world's greatest garlic bread, made with treacley sourdough - the only other time I've had bread this good was at Rick Stein's Padstow restaurant), the tortilla (the use of extra egg yolks was a revelation) and the quails (so tender and juicy). Not cheap, but very good value.

Nice place with good quality food. It does, however, feel a bit industrial and process driven; in our appetizer, our table for 4 received the same number of olives (4) as the table for 2 next to us and whilst I’m sure the plastic plates work for the restaurant it’s not a great dining experience. The chef’s meze platter was good but feels very templated - 2 calamari rings, 2 feta parcels, etc, all laid out just so. Again, I’m sure the business model is good but it all feels a bit mass produced. Great, smiley, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Bristol
About the restaurant
We are located at 203 B Cheltenham Rd The Arches Bristol BS6 5QX

Koocha was founded in 2018 as Bristol’s first totally vegan restaurant – a plant pioneer, we’ve led the way for animal-free cuisine across the city.

What really sets us apart though is the big, unexpected and delicious spices and flavours from Persia and the Middle East that infuse every dish in our bountiful menu.

Our food is as fresh as it comes, sourced locally and sustainably, everything is made from scratch by our talented team. And whether you’re vegan or not, we pride ourselves on our seductive fare – even the most devout meat eaters have declared their love after a meal at one of our tables.
