My go to, tried and tested and never fails lunch/brunch place. Runs like a machine, staff is friendly and professional (I've never had a botched order), the menu is perfection and the unpretentious setting is cosy with rustic touches of wood and exposed brick. Never dissapoints. Will return over and over again with friends, out of town guests etc.

About the restaurant
Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett’s sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. These are the components that make Scaramouche the singular destination it is and the reason that the restaurant has consistently ranked as one of the city’s best for over forty years.

Excellent presentation and flavours with a great view of the city. We had the lamb, lobster risotto and peppercorn fettuccine — all excellent. Dessert and appetizers were also a lovely presentation and wonderful flavour. The server was attentive without being intrusive - perfect service. Excellent experience.

About the restaurant
Enjoy a taste of France at Le Baratin, 1600 Dundas West, with a unique menu and an enchanting atmosphere.
We offer 2 setting every night; The first dinner service from 5:30 through to 6:30 pm is a maximum of 2 hours dinner experience.
For Brunch WE DO NOT TAKE RESERVATION - walk-in only, from 10 am till 3:30 pm.
Take an imaginary plane in the evening with the culinary experience of our French inspired menu.
Food prepared at Le Baratin is indeed classic with a modern twist. Classic in a sense of ‘old school’: our sauces are all made in-house, with a veal-based stock. These days, that is very rare.
For Brunch, the Croque Monsieur is a must-have. French peasant, or street food, is uniquely reinvented here.
Our wine list is mid-priced and extensively

Steak frites Wednesday meal deal is a great excuse to dine out mid week. Steak was cooked just right, the steak sauce was delish and they have a great orange wine by the glass. A lovely French dinner spot every time.

About the restaurant
Chez Nad is the natural evolution of 17 years of gastronomy with Nadège Patisserie—a full-circle moment in my family’s culinary journey. Tucked behind our flagship at 780 Queen Street West, this space is deeply personal: an extension of my home and my story. From my great-grandparents and grandparents owning a pastry shop, to my parents running a restaurant, food has always been the language of our family. Chez Nad is an ode to that heritage. “Nad” is my nickname, and when you step inside, you are truly entering chez moi. This is an elevated French bistro rooted in bistronomie—where thoughtful, locally sourced ingredients meet exceptional French cheeses. Classic Lyonnais and French dishes are reimagined with a modern, playful twist. More than a restaurant, Chez Nad is a place for everyone, built around community, generosity, and the joy of sharing a table.

This restaurant has been a favourite of ours for close to 10 years now. We often visit Toronto , this is always one of our go to stops . The ambience is very relaxed, staff always attentive. But let’s talk about the food. Every bite is savoured. I had a Ruben sandwich with a side Cesar , my partner the Burger Royal with a side of Onion Rings. I must mention the dill dipping sauce for the rings. A real treat! Everything was amazing. Thank you
