Such a fun place, great vibe! We ate on the patio, 3rd floor. My cobb salad was huge and absolutely delicious, very fresh. Server was funny but not in your face, really looked after us. After dinner we went downstairs to see a U2 tribute band in the lounge, very dark, moody, disco ball, cocktail tables and big dance floor, packed with U2 fans. So much fun! Everyone singing along, and again a great bar, fast service. They know what they're doing! Great place to go, you'll love it!

While Liberty Village has developed into a modern hub of cool residential & business spaces, there is a unique history to this neighbourhood that goes way back to the 1850s & it is evident in its character. Close to Lamport Stadium, the Molson Ampitheatre & endless sporting & cultural events, LOCAL Public Eatery doesn't skip a beat when it comes to fun. We are open for lunch, happy hour, dinner & weekend brunch, love sports (sports!) & have been known to throw epic parties as well. A local recommended this restaurant as we were headed to the Opera House that evening. Wonderful venue and even better staff. The food was perfect for what we wanted. Not fine dining, but delicious just the same (we had brisket tacos, oysters and the Leslieville grilled cheese). Definitely would recommend for a casual meal and/or a pint.

First time visiting Hemingways! The food was great, service was great. We got the peach mint lemonade drinks, Coronas, chicken fingers and fries, and spinach artichoke dip. All were delicious. Overall lovely evening on the patio.
