The food was really good, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Of course they are known for the "cheeseboats", but the rest of the Georgian food is excellent. If you like garlic, get the chicken!

Oda House Offers authentic Georgian cuisine and natural wines. A liberal use of spices, kebabs, khinkali (oversized meat-and-cheese dumplings), mtsvadi, khachapuri (Georgian cheese bread) and adjaruli (Cheese boat) typify the kitchen’s preparations. But, more classic dishes may reveal satsivi, or boiled chicken, served cool in a warmly spiced and seasoned walnut sauce, accompanied by gomi. Oda House uses mostly fresh and organic ingredients sourced from local farms. Menu has plenty of vegan and Gluten-free choices.
Maia Acquaviva, managing partner and executive Chef of Oda House, brings Georgian cuisine and a dose of Georgian culture and pride to NY. The passion she had from an early age to cook blossomed. Maia said, “Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for the opportunities that have been presented to me.” Her life motto is: If you want something with all your heart, the entire universe mobilizes around you to make your wishes come true!

They put us into the backside of the restaurant, as requested. It was quiet enough and peaceful, so all of us heard our conversation. The service is good.

More interesting than the standard Middle Eastern you get these days. Interesting local twists and take on regional food, like soup dumplings, or lamb or beef stew or so many other things.

We picked Saperavi for a city family dinner and it was a great choice. The food is fresh, made out simple and tasty ingredients, with new flavors and textures from Georgia (country). The staff is nice and friendly. I very much recomment it!

Had a wonderful experience having dinner in the garden at Ubani. The setting was lovely and serene, a wonderful change from the noise of Second Avenue. The Georgian bread with the egg and cheese was amazing and highly recommend it. The lamb stew was well spiced and delicious. The waitress never rushed us and gave us detailed descriptions when asked and also some excellent recommendations. Can't wait to go back.

Since we’d never had Georgian cuisine our waiter was extremely helpful in describing different dishes and also their wines. Very enjoyable meal and great atmosphere. Would highly recommend for a unique food experience.
