About Saigon Saigon
Vietnam, a land of vibrant cultures, vivid contrasts, and an intricate history gives way to some of the most delicious and intriguing food in the world. A colonial background of China and then France, food of Vietnam was the first true fusion cuisine, blending the techniques and ingredients of France and Chinese culinary traditions allowing Vietnam to create a cuisine with a spirit and a flavour all in its own.
Our chefs refer to their cooking as “the nouvelle cuisine of Asia.” Our dishes rely on an abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables, the use of contrasting flavours, varied textures, exotic ingredients and by using methods such as grilling, braising and steaming, Vietnamese food is among the healthiest in the world.
Saigon Saigon aim to provide you with all the pleasures of the Vietnamese table, a captivating taste of an irresistible cuisine and look forward to welcoming you.

Saigon Saigon Ratings and Reviews
Was a last minute (literally) booking so was not expecting much but we were both very very pleasantly surprised; the concierge was a cheeky chappy who had me going with his straight-faced jokes but then he broke out his charming smile and all was forgiven. My friend and I can’t wait to go back the food was incredibly tasty with good sized portions and good quality fresh ingredients. I didn’t want to stop eating!! Th place was busy but we were still able to hear each other’s conversations, which is always a plus for me. Did I say how tasty and fresh the food was 😋😋😋 also great value for money and happy to pay service charge.
Every time we take new friends to Saigon Saigon they are so impressed by the exceptional quality of the food. So many complex flavours and textures layered on top of each other. Great unobtrusive service and S buzzy but not too noisy atmosphere make it one of our top restaurant choices.
Great authentic cuisine served by the friendliest of waiters who even taught us a bit of Vietnamese with every course.
Easy to do a large order and share amongst a group so you get to try a bit of everything and we took the waiters recommendations which worked out very well indeed.
This was a pre-theatre meal so we were on a tight timetable and we were among the first customers for Saturday evening. The service was quick and efficient without being intrusive. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were perfect. This was the first time I have eaten Vietnamese food in the UK, and as good as I have eaten in other parts of the world with a good wine list with sensibly priced selection. I cannot think of any negatives at all. I want to go back!
First time but very impressed. Full of people at midweek, good sign for popularity. Did not get the table required as turning up early but having great experience with delicious dishes. Love best the tamarind prawns and curry chicken, steamed bass fillets also good, house wine reasonable. Will return
we have been so many Vietnamese restaurants in London for many years, but this one remains our favourite one. We enjoyed every single dishes this time. Our best dishes were garlic soft shell crab, grilled vine leaf beef rolls and of course the best Vietnamese beef soup, excellent broth ! Food and service are equally great. Will come back soon
The place is really nice. Food really really good and staff absolutely nice. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they brought his dessert and happy bday singing without asking. It was a warm and nice surprise.
They were a bit slow serving and sometimes had to remind things a couple of times, not big issue as they were absolutely kind
My partner and I (Australian but Vietnamese heritage) come here at least once a month and travel out from central London to do so. There are lots of Vietnamese places closer to us but honestly this is well worth the effort. The Banh Xeo (pancake starter but big enough for a main) stands out for us - the best in London by some distance - and we try that everywhere - my gf is an expert and it's one of the only times I can keep her quiet!! Highly recommended....
I went to Saigon Saigon before seeing Erykah Badu at Eventim Apollo Hammersmith. I was actually looking for a restaurant near Hammersmith but the nearest station is actually Raverncourt Park. I met with a group of friends and we all had the prawn and papaya salad. Highly recommended especially and a balmy summer's evening. The staff were v accommodating when I asked if we could sit outside which they said was fine but we had to leave before a certain time. The staff are attentive and the restaurant was clean, the toilets too.
Great Vietnamese Food in Colonial Atmosphere
This beautiful place is decorated as a restaurant during the French colonial period in Vietnam. The food is excellent and the waiter was very helpful in our choosing selections. All dishes are delicious, the food is a step up from Vietnamese street food and some of the dishes clearly have a French touch. We tried the frog legs, spring rolls and soft shell crab, the main going extremely well with sizzling seafood and clay pot beef loin. Wine is well above the average and with reasonable price. The service was excellent and appropriately attentive. We especially appreciated having the manager stop by to check if we were satisfied and had been taken care of. If you are looking for a bit more elegant dining experience without having to pay excessive prices, and like Asian food in this area, this is a right place to go.
