Saint & Second
If you're headed to Saint & Second you'll want to ask for Brady! He was absolutely amazing and made our experience and birthday celebration special. The bread and lamb appetizer is a must!
Service was really nice. Very friendly and accommodating. The salads we had were tasty, especially the herbed chicken. But the presentation was not as nice as we would have liked.
The grilled octopus starter was delicious.
Evening dinner with friends. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Unfortunately for me the food fell short. My main course of ‘short rib’ was dry and without flavor and was very disappointing for the $45 cost.
Our food was delicious and our wait staff was very attentive. Loved sitting with a view across from prep kitchen.
The food was not good, but the service was excellent
Saint and Second is a great restaurant to take someone from out of town to enjoy a great location where you can have a conversation and yet get the ambiance of Long Beach and people watch. The food is good and the service was excellent on our visit. The out of townee that we took was happy with the choice and commented on how this was her "kind of place" A pleasant experience all around.
Great food, great service, great ambiance!
Waitstaff was beyond great! Service was outstanding!
The ambiance and service were good. Very quiet becsuse it was odd hour. Just the same we enjoyed the experience. Will definitely return to experience the other drinks.
There were a lot of flies all over the table, food was expensive for what it was.
This is my second time to this restaurant and a great meeting spot to meet our friends from the South Bay because we are coming from Orange County. The onion bread is the BEST DAMN thing on that menu. I could just eat bread and drink wine. BUT, don't miss out on all the other great options available. Our waitress Paige was fantastic and let us hold up the table all night as we visited with friends and she did not make us feel rushed. A++ on service and food. We will definitely be back!
I enjoyed it. I will definitely go back
The best meal we've had out in a long time. Plus, our waitress, Gloria, was incredible! Wish we had a Saint & Second in Colorado.
The food was okay but could have been tastier. The prices were very high for the small portions. It was good not great.
Vibe is good, food is ok. There are only three high top tables so next time I would not request one.
We were very happy with the service and food. We’ve been there a number of times before for lunch because we like the ambiance, food and drinks, but this was our first time for dinner. We were not disappointed! Everyone enjoyed their dinners, mine was halibut on top of a house made chorizo with corn, small potatoes and baby cilantro. So good!
As it was also a birthday celebration, we were treated to a tasty dessert along with the other two we ordered. Perhaps a little indulgent, but it was a party.
And the drink selections are quite good as I mentioned. A great experience.
The food was just so mediocre for the price. Very disappointed. Carpaccio was tiny, the miso glazed cod lacked any sort of savory flavor, the chicken was rather bland. Super unimpressed.
As usual, exceptional service and perfectly cooked food.
Pork Belly appetizer was amazing, and the cheese board well presented. Cobb salad was fantastic, but addition of olives not to my liking. Great service in a fun atmosphere.
Very thoughtful and intuitive staff took great care of us. We will be back!!
Great place and the food is consistently good.
We enjoyed our duo birthday celebration on June 26th. The staff greeted us warmly when we entered and sat us at a table we requested. Aysia our server was at our side checking our drink order and helping us decide on our appetizer. We soon received our drinks and our tasty and hot brussel sprouts. We ordered our entrees, salmon with mashed potatoes and the cobb salad, both delicious. Aysia checked in on us often, but not overbearing. Finally, the dessert menu came and Aysia provided a couple of recommendations. We ordered the berry crisp, but received, with great surprise and joy, a complimentary chocolate brownie with mint chip ice cream. The entire staff was helpful and friendly, especially, Aysia. Can't wait to return to the restaurant very soon.
I took a couple friends from out of town for a 40th Birthday. The drinks on the upstairs were amazing along with the atmosphere. Once seated downstairs, the waitress was extremely attentive and was able to answer all our questions. The food and service was impeccable. The reason I gave it 4 stars overall was because the bathrooms were beyond a disaster and gross.
Our waitress was wonderful, Well informed gave us great advice and was perfect in the attention she gave us. The food was terrific as usual and loved the cocktail. Everyone who stopped by to pick up plates or drop off was professional but friendly and fun. We will visit again of course
This was our first time here and it was a perfect place to celebrate our girls engagement. As I stated before, the waiter looked like a nephew who passed away and we all felt it was a blessing. The food was amazing and we would gladly come back.
The food is eclectic. I wasn’t expecting such different options. Went safe with the American burger and it was delicious!
Wonderful Father’s Day Lunch. I recommend the Crab Avocado Toast.
We love this space. Perfect for brunch with a friend or a family gathering.
I enjoyed everything about visit. The food and service was good. We had oysters, grilled octopus, the lamb with pasta, and the halibut that was on special. I would recommend this place.
Great place, great food. We had a group lunch with four us, each had something different.
Service and food was excellent. I have never had a disappointing meal in 2nd and Saint.
Great experience! I always love coming here! The ambiance is wonderful and the food amazing!
Great good and great service
