Food was very good. Oysters were fantastic and happy hour menu was a great value. We enjoyed everything we had.
Great service and very good food. Nice for people watching and respectful of social distancing.
Not so great experience. The table was extremely dirty and the restaurant was over 50 percent occupied.
Great food, excellent service. Good options for food.
The two tables next to us did not get the concept of social distancing! Loud, boisterous, and hugging, kissing and general drinking party.
This is a good place to go for drinks, but is not really a restaurant. The food is overpriced and not good.
I made a reservation for an outside table. 40 minutes after my reservation time, I was given a table in the dark back, by the kitchen. People were spending 3+ hours at the outside tables drinking and the hostess was, “Oh, well. Sorry.”
My table in the back was over a long A/C vent that runs the length of the restaurant and water was sweating/leaking constantly right over all the booth tables, so a worker would come by with a mop and wipe it down every few minutes right over your food!
The burger was gross. It tasted like it was made cigarette ashes. The steaks and seafood were overpriced for the quality of the cots. The Brussels sprout Caesar was actually pretty good.
The clientele is super trashy. If you want to be around the Jersey Shore scene and a bunch of cougars and really old muscle daddies, then this is your place. Otherwise, head to a place off Atlantic.
Great out door dining spot for happy hour on The Ave
We had great experience at Salt7! Excellent food and service and a fun atmosphere. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Very pleasant experience at South seven food was great
Service staff was also very attentive ambience was very good drinks were a bit high priced but very little to complain about
Bathroom not the cleanest looking thing, lots of clutter around sinks. Shared sinks with men's bathroom. Restaurant itself was good.
We went there based on reading they used 7 different salts for seasoning their food, hence the name Salt7. When we got seated we asked what salts were used on what food and were told that they only use plain sea salt and ditched the others a while ago. Not sure why they didn't change the name or their story online as this was the main reason for going so we could try something different.
The meal was good, but not any better than I could have done at home.
The food and service were both excellent
Great food, noisy bar area.
Staff were ok Except that the bus boy kept taking away plates as people finished —it was very rude to the people still eating. The food was incredibly garlicky and incredibly oversauced !!! Keep it simple !!! prices were pretty high and portions were absolutely TINY we had to get a pizza afterwards:(!!!!!
Wonderful food/lovely server-nice environment
We left feeling we would likely not return mostly due to the service. The server, while nice, was not service oriented to the level I would expect for the spend of this restaurant. We eat out frequently. When I pay over $300 for a meal I expect a high level of service and usually get it. We’d not been to Salt before. As soon as we sat down the server came over and just said anything else you want to drink besides water? The whole time she never asked if we’d been there before or had any questions about the menu - which we did. She seemed like she just wanted to take the orders and get on with it. She was most attentive about wanting to take additional cocktail orders. It really was not a great dining experience. The food was good but not great enough to pay this money again for that experience.
All around great experience. All of us enjoyed on meals and the atmosphere was perfect. The service was exceptional and everyone was friendly. Highly recommend the restaurant.
Loved salt7. Really interesting preparations.
Drinks were watered down and service was quite slow. Disappointing.
Valentines Day dinner
Girls trip in Delray.
Great food and service
Friends gathering. Quiet in the restaurant. Server was on serious side. Bus boy kept trying to pick up on dishes when we weren’t done. Food taste excellent. Drinks overpriced ... we are not in SoBe.
Food and service was so so. Mahi was tough and tasteless. Swordfish was not much better. Not worth the price.
Good was excellent! Service however was not.
Very nice restaurant, I know it was a Monday night , but we were the only 6 in the restaurant at 8 pm. There were a few tables with folks leaving and a few patrons outside at the bar. Food and waiter were excellent, bartender, not so much, she appeared so disinterested and not friendly, never made suggestions, p.s. it reflected in her tip. Wrong girl to be put at that beautiful bar. Probably wouldn’t go back because there are many more restaurants for the same value , but friendlier staff, sorry! Food was outstanding.
Amazing service from Alian and delicious food. My parents are still talking about it how good the food was and how nice the entire staff was throughout our dining experience.
Great meal with friends. All the food (steaks, lamb shank, branzino) was prepared perfectly. The service was attentive without being overbearing. A bit pricey, but worth it. Just one word of caution: when you pull up to the valet parking by the restaurant, you'll see a sign that says $15/$9 with validation, but if you look closely, Salt Seven is not one of the restaurants that validates.
Waitress was slow food was all that
We absolutely love this place. We met another couple here for a great Saturday night; the food never disappoints and the service was spot-on. The meal was paced perfectly, and I definitely feel that the price is right in line with quality and portion size.
We shared the steak frites, and it was perfectly cooked. The brussels app was a bit heavy handed with the balsamic, but the tuna tartar made up for it. They use minced granny smith apples in their recipe which I've never had; truly a spectacular dish! All in all, worth the drive for us, and the little whiskey place next door was great for dessert. :)
Absolutely fantastic meal. We will be returning. Our sever Nikki was excellent!
The wine and old-fashioned both were a little off, otherwise great.
The service was terrible. It took almost an hour to get our salads. We ordered salads and appetizers and it took a very long time to get. We asked for a second round of popcorn for the table and it took 15 mins just to get that.
Service was horrific. After waiting an hour for our food that never came we walked out. With so many great places nearby there is just no reason to go here. Suggest you stay away. I wish we did.
Made plans to celebrate my sister’s birthday. My husband still doesn’t believe this restaurant even has food. We waited for an hour for food; no bread, but was told we would get popcorn(?) at our table-never came. We ordered, but walked out after 45 minutes. Waiter was not trained and has no business being a waiter. Turns out, it would appear this place is for getting drunk. We were starving and ended up 1/2 a block away at Acqua Italian restaurant. Excellent food and service. Do not plan on eating dinner at Salt Seven.
It was a Sunday evening and they had an all day brunch prior to our 7p reservation. Unfortunately that must have depleted their food and drink inventory because they were out of certain beers and featured cocktails. The food was good but the service was a bit slow and she didn’t check on us. They serve popcorn instead of bread which I liked (something a little different), but it didn’t go over as well with the senior citizens at the table - and the little cup of popcorn was never refilled at a table of 6. Overall it was good and I understand it’s a fun nightclub after about 10p. We were not there that late!
Food is very good, though quite overpriced, that goes for the wine list too.
Everything we ordered was delicious from the shrimp appetizer,Brussels sprouts, to the main courses of cheesesteak, Farro salad with Salmon and steak frites. Our server was great too! Definitely going back!!!
Great service. Friendly and efficient. Waitress got all of our requests correct. Consistently checked in with us throughout the meal. Food was delicious. Pretty impressive for such a big and busy restaurant.
