Such a pleasant environment, paying close attention to COVID mandates but relaxed- a hard balance. Food was delicious, device great. A real neighborhood gem.
Really enjoyed dinner here. Sat outside which was great for people watching, and after the businesses close on either side they extend their tables making for a lively atmosphere. Everything on the menu looks fantastic - as did the food on everyone’s table that I could see. I had the fresh cavatelli with pesto and it was outstanding. The service was very friendly despite them being very busy, but I never felt rushed. Highly recommend.
I highly recommend Salumeria Rosi the next time you're looking for a place to celebrate. The food is great and the atmosphere very happy. My personal favorite dish is their Risotto Cacio e Pepe, but there are plenty of other spectacular dishes to choose from. No wonder it's so popular!
Loved the menu, staff and ambiance. A tad pricey but considering location not overly. My go to place when going to the Beacon Theater. Best experience in the rea.
I enjoyed an excellent arugula and braesola salad followed by pasta with a delicious pesto sauce. Service was excellent.
One of our favorite places in NYC. The food and service are exceptional.
This restaurant admits that they can’t figure out when to serve first course vs main course, etc. they bring out whatever is ready. Or all at once.
Great food and wine. Very reasonable prices.
Indoors: they have it set up as a take out assembly line don’t really want to see that while I eat on a date
Outdoors: have homeless people bothering you and humid
Wine: it’s Italian wine requires taste, we got the white wine for $80 tasted off so we just left it
Food: Everything we wanted to order was “out” so I had to create own dish bc no pasta i wanted left
The app I got was burrata: it was just the cheese and olive oil, wish they added arugula or have crackers to eat with.
The bread given was cold.
This restaurant has so much potential and can imagine it pays so much it rent, shame they can’t get their game together.
The most wonderful evening enjoying the lovely and attractive outdoor space. Our waiter was absolutely charming - exceptional service. The food was delicious. Such a wonderful neighborhood gem. The food was excellent.
First time at Salumeria Rosi. Have wanted to go for quite some time and it was worth the wait! Food is clean, simple and luscious. Prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella was clean and perfect combo of salty and not. Great caponata, artichokes, pasta and risotto. We're already planning our next visit!
Nicole is a rock star. She is reason alone to go to Salumeria Rosi. The food is fantastic.. Pasta outstanding. And if you don’t know what to have just ask Nicole. her recommendations never disappoint.
It’s a neighborhood gem worth wandering out of your neighborhood!
A delicious food made with high quality of products , we loved this experience 😋 service and the place are so perfect too
We have never been mis-directed or disappointed when we ask the servers for their recommendations. This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants in NYC. Not a complicated menu, but flavors that are so good.
Pesto is a favorite. Ricotta and peach app is really good this time of year. The charcuterie and cheeses are some of the best. All around great. To bad the crazy atv and dirt bikers rampaging through the city made it tough to hear anything. So 4+ instead of 5!!
It took over 30 minutes to get a plate of cheese and meats. Another 20 to get an affogato. The only part of service that was impressive was the server filling up out water glasses. Food was average.
The temptation for us local longtime patrons is to leave a terrible review so we can keep this treasure for ourselves - but honesty is winning out. Ive dined at least monthly if not weeklyhere since the place opened with the original owner, a chef from Parma. With the change in owners, the menu has expanded to encompass the Milanese specialties native to the current owner but the waitstaff - many of whom have been there from the beginning - quality of food, elegant but welcoming ambience have all remained unchanged. The only reason for you not to go is that you might make it harder for me to get a reservation.
Exceptional all around - a fantastic Italian spot
Food was not very good.
Salumeria is always awesome! Consistently great food. So glad they've been here for the neighborhood this past year.
Salumeria Rosi offered us some wonderful menu selections and not one disappointed. The Italian food was simply delicious.
Always the best food and best service. Kind, patient and friendly staff. Love them. Outside dining great except doe the noise of amsterdam ave traffic. Food and service worth the noise and air pollution intake.
I AM NOT REVIEWING ANYMORE RESTAURANTS UNTIL I START GETTING POINTS FOR BOOKING WITH OPENTABLE, SO THERE !!
I passed this restaurant many times an decided to have dinner here. Excellent meal and exceptional service. I will return.
The food cannot be faulted - absolutely delicious. The service was a tad slow and our waiter forgot an item (chalk it up to a busy Saturday night), but he overall was attentive and very nice.
A delicious Italian restaurant - absolutely perfect for showing out of town guests how cool and hip the Upper West Side is. Not inexpensive but totally worth the price. Menu offerings accommodate all diets - from vegan to carnivore!! I LOVE this place.
This place has maintained its excellence now for years. Staff is professional and warm. Food excellent. Value for money.
Great service, delicious food and wine. Recommend for a nice easy and fun date night
I picked this restaurant partly cause of its location. Service was quick and pastas were delicious. On average portions are not as much as New York standards. A bit pricey for its standard but overall good experience
A great jewel on the Upper West Side
Food was very good and original, if a little pricey.
Dining inside is the way to go. Ricotta w/grilled peaches, caponetta and orchiette w/fennel sausage were perfecto. Their Rose Prosecco was a good light companion. The cappuccinos with mile high steamed milk and bread pudding capped off a perfect meal. Staff was helpful, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend!
Love the place. So great to have it in the neighborhood and so glad it made it through the pandemic. Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy.
The food was delicious! Our server was so nice and went out of his way to offer us suggestions that would suite our group best.
Great dinner. Good is excellent!
I’ve been going here since it opened on the East side. I’ve always had spectacular food, and last night’s experience was no exception. The staff kindly accommodated our request to move inside when the weather was too hot for some of us. The servers were friendly. The prosciutto like butter, the Nutella gelato so rich and refreshing I’m still dreaming about it.
Salumeria Rosi was marvelous. The lasagna and salad were delicious.
While this restaurant is a "salumeria" the truth is, the vegetable options are also outstanding. The salads are glorious, in particular the shaved fennel. The olives are not to be missed and definitely try the anchovies if anchovies are your thing. The staff here are very accommodating (not easy on a hot summer night) and friendly.
We had a lovely evening sitting outside here. Ordered meat and cheese apps. These were tasty but small for the price. The puttanesca was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive
Love this place, never a disappointment. Great proximity for a pre dinner concert.
