With high quality ingredients and laid back casual style, San Lorenzo's is now the hottest restaurant for locals and those visiting Dublin for quality Italian food with a NYC twist. And course our famous brunch, the #brunchofchampions , hailed as the best brunch in Dublin! We believe in seasonal, locally sourced Irish produce where possible. Our pork is single farm Co.Wicklow, our beef is Leinster, Hereford or Angus cross breed, our lamb is Co. Kildare Curragh grass fed, our chickens are barnyard humanly reared and our fish and seafood is sustainable and mostly from our Irish Coastal waters. We make all our own pastas, breads and all our desserts and ice creams. Virtually everything is made in house. We delight in preparing the best Ireland has to offer. #ModernItalianNYCstyle #Brunchofchampions
Not a very friendly welcome , food like warm , could tell they wanted you in and out ASAP
Exactly what we looking for... the brunch tacos are amazing!!!
Bloody loads of food! Ordered extra potatoes and maybe the waitress could have let us know that both our meals came with potatoes. We thought they were fries... very enjoyable though 😁
Great brunch!! Food is excellent.
Lovely visit, staff very accommodating, great food !
Food delicous. The ham was a bit poxy on one of the dishes. But other than that every thing else was yummm. And super. Thanks.
Our server took down the wrong meal, I was given the venison ragu not the venison off the main menu which I had pointed to.. when I got my dish I said I ordered the venison and I was told ‘yeah the venison ragu’ and was made feel like it was my mistake until I rechecked the menu and realised it was not and by that time it was too late, we were under time pressure and had to leave by 7 to make a show.
Absolutely delicious brunch and cocktail sitting. Amazing food, drinks and staff
Lovely staff and great food, as always!!!
Lovely restaurant, great food and friendly staff. Would highly recommend 👍🏻
Excellenf. Will visit again.
Booked table for for 8:15, seated at 9. Food arrived AGES later and was cold. First round of drinks comped which was very kind but overall fairly brutal experience.
We were very excited about our reservation in San Lorenzo's. On arrival we were greeted and brought to our table. Our bags were brought upstairs which was great as we had loads.
We all ordered the breakfast of champions which is €15.50 and expensive so our expectations were high! Some of our group made changes, ie requesting no beans etc.
When our food arrived we were shocked. Its was visually unappealing, the sausage was par boiled and barely brown in places, the streaky bacon, although plenty of it, par boiled and not crispy at all. We did complain and we were offered fresh portions but declined. We were told thats how they served the bacon. All of it was sent back on our plates. When our bill came, our teas and coffees were comped as a gesture but all the food was charged for at full price. We believe based on other customer reviews that we made the wrong food choice on this day. We would recommend that if one is to advertise a 'Breakfast of Champions' it should be as advertised.
Lovely place, food was very good but perhaps a little overpriced.
Very pleasant and efficient staff, nice food speedy service. Nice decor and ambience.
Tables quite squashed in together but service was excellent; very friendly and professional staff
1st time eating in San Lorenzos food was fantastic as was service. Will be back
Lovely food, friendly staff and a great wine from the Puglia region of Italy
Good looking good in a nice environment but overpriced and very average
The food was amazing here and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Although slightly on the expensive side, the food quality is outstanding and the portions are huge!
Would highly recommend and will 100% be back!
Very tasty food, service was quick and hostess attentive
We were well looked after with the exception of one or two small things. We didn’t receive any bowls for shells etc but we managed. But not serving bread with a chowder is poor.
4 out of 6 meals were good quality but two of us had the seafood spaghetti. Serving Gambas uncleaned is not good enough especially at the price in which we paid for each of our main courses.
Deveining gambas takes seconds and it should be a basic requirement. This is very off putting when you have to clean your own fish at the table before enjoying your meal. This should be done by the kitchen
We were sitting close to the door so a little chilly at times
The staff were friendly and polite
White white wasn’t cold enough but it was ok
But there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant
I booked San Lorenzo's for lunch on December 13 based on previous reviews on OpenTable but was pretty disappointed. Menu was fairly limited and included some bizarre brunch options (full Irish at a supposedly Italian restaurant?). The food was fine as far as it went (I had the Pasta Zucca, which was actually quite good), but I think it is a stretch for the restaurant to characterize itself as offering "Modern Italian New York Style" dining.
Food was outstanding. A wonderful night complimented by cozy ambiance and friendly service. Would highly recommend this place.
Delicious Food and wine. Early Bird menu great value but extras made it a little expensive. I will definitely eat here again and recommend to others
We were waiting for our booked table for 15 minutes but we did receive free bubbly. The tacos were amazing lots lovely flavours.
We booked a table for brunch. Two of us arrived on time and two maybe 5-10 mins late. On arrival I had to wait for some time to be greeted and shown to the pre-booked table. The food tasted quite fatty however the cocktail was nice. When we went to order a dessert, we were told that we couldn't have dessert or coffee as they needed the table back - that two of our guests arrived late and they had a tight schedule. We were then presented with the bill. 1h15 min is not enough time to settle and enjoy a brunch among friends. We went to another establishment across the road and stayed there for another couple of hours where we had dessert and wine. I would not rush back to San Lorenzo's or recommend it.
Casual fun restaurant - lovely staff. Food would have been outstanding if they had provided bread and dips or similar. But otherwise it was really good.
Very nice dinner with friends. Cozy & friendly.
Good menu. Everyone happy.
Staff and food excellent as always! Staff were extremely accommodating with a table move request and also with time. Our friends were running late but management allowed us extra time to finish our meal. Food was on point and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was incredibly busy but staff were attentive and always on hand. Drinks were a little slow, but when you order a whole table of cocktails, that's to be expected. No hesitation recommending San Lorenzo's. Wasn't my first time and won't be my last.
Very good, would return. Anti pasti platter, venison, meatballs, all were great. A bit pricey, but probably no more so than other places in the area.
Lovely meal with very pleasant staff. I had chicken and my partner had venison, both were very tasty. Desserts were lovely as well. Fairy busy for a Mon night with a lively atmosphere. Back again for New Years eve. A little pricey but overall, no complaints.
The restaurant was very busy at. 1.30pm on Sunday for brunch so I was glad we had booked a table but there was a lovely atmosphere. The waitress was really helpful and the food was lovely. The wine was however I thought very expensive. House wine started at €28 a bottle and deserts were very expensive. One of the party had ice cream, 3 scoops and it was €7.50. That's too expensive in my mind. At 3pm another waitress put the bill on the table and asked could we vacate the table as it was booked. At no time when I booked the table was I told there was a time limit so this was very annoying. Although we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere I wouldn't go back again because of the prices.
I found the set menu very over priced for what we got and quite an increase on the normal rate just because its Christmas.
Great location for brunch but very small venue, very loud and food wasn’t amazing and a little pricey.
Lovely food. Great service. Friendly atmosphere. Really good Overall experience.
Excellent food as always
But a little sneaky increasing the early bird prices and not mentioning it on the website
Great value all night early bird ... had the prawns and steak. Both excellent . Would highly recommend !!
My crab cakes were tough and overcooked. And the coffee at the end of the meal had a terrible burnt taste.
