First time at Sangarita's. There was a full bar right when u walk in, all the tables were full plus downstairs.
Hubby and I ordered the Chimmi Sliders which were really good. Weren't expecting it to be so big for an appetizer.
I ordered the Salmon a la Padilla, the sauce on it was very salty, the salmon was a good portion. The house sangria was ok. Wasn't served within fruits.
My hubby got the special they had. The meat came out on a hot plate that cooled down very fast, that the meat got cold before he could finish.
Half the staff was walking around with their mask under their nose. Saw them cleaning the table with windex.

Delicious food, the lamb and fajitas were great. Big portions. Good service.

We traveled all the way from Staten Island to try Sangarita’s and we’re not disappointed at all. It reminded me of our dining experience in Barcelona and that was one of the reasons I wanted to try it out. With the outdoor seating in the neighborhood it all felt so lively and awesome even though we ended up sitting inside because there was a wait and we were hungry. The paella was amazing. So was the peach sangria. Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to come back.

We went on Valentines Day and when we first walked in it was very lively and had a live guitar player. We were very happy but that soon turned into unhappiness. We had a 7pm reservation and were taken down to the lower level or basement seating where it was very quiet and rather gloomy. We were not given the option to sit upstairs where the liveliness was at rather than downstairs where it was too quiet. The food was okay, it lacked flavor with the tapas. The paella was great but the tapas were ok.

Joshua, the manager is the BEST. We had a great experience and we will be back soon!

Second time at this Bayside Spanish restaurant after a couple of years and it was hopping. Food is excellent and service from Christina made the evening great even though the kitchen was obviously slammed and didn’t exactly get all the food out at the same time for our table of four. Not sure why we took so long to go back but will certainly repeat before long.

We were greeted right away. Asked for a table away from the bar and the host gave us a table in the back . the service was on point. The waitresses were very attentive but not overbearing. It was BOGO Sangreiria which was a good deal Had the peacha nd Mango one. Well made. We had the parella which was very good. Had 3 tapas. The Shrimp garlic - excellent. The baked clams and stuff mushrooms. They were good also. All in all a nice night. Would recommend.

I went to Sangarita's with 3 other people and we all loved it. We found the restaurant by accident just looking for something good in the Bayside area. We did make reservations which were definitely needed. The service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. We ordered a whole bunch of tapas and each one was delicious. Our waiter didn't even have to write down the order and she got everything right. The valet parking was a definite bonus for this very busy neighborhood. I will definitely go back.

Great mussels and paella!!

Let's say that Sangarita is an awesome option for after work drinks and tapas. It was my cuz birthday and since I brought him here before, he remembered the happy hour discounts we got the last time. The seem to be known in the area for sangrias. They have a few sangria options to choose from. They have generous pours also. If there is any other place with sangrias, I would not bother with other places. For me Sangarita is the best option. We placed an order for gambas al ajillo, which is shrimps cooked in oil and garlic which is one of my favorites. We liked it so much that we ordered a second platter of that. It also comes with fresh sliced hero bread that you can dip with the garlic flavor...omg so good!

We decided to stay at the bar and a very nice young took care of us, then the manager took care of us. Both are so friendly and conversational. They do not overtake the conversation but it was good to have insight into the business. We also ordered the chimi sliders after a second round of a different sangria, the white peach! I was amazed at the flavor. We did have a concern for 1 dish we ordered, we kindly presented our concern and the manager immediately took it off. That shows me how customer centric they are. They definitely will be seeing us again soon.

This place has be the nicest place ive been. clean and employees are polite and very friendly. The many times ive been there the food is always so fresh and tastety. I have taken friends and family and they all love that place
