Santini’s menu celebrates the simplicity of the most authentic Italian cuisine, using fresh, light flavours of the best ingredients Dining at Santini is a must: a relaxed lunch inside or with or without “well-behaved” dogs on the unique terrace, which is dotted with olive trees during warmer months, to an intimate dinner either in the restaurant or a larger party of private and business diners in the private dining room. Look no further for a business presentations venue as Santini’s boardroom caters for them too. Smoking of cigarettes and cigars is available on the terrace throughout the year.
We were extremely disappointed with the service. They did not bring any wine list, Charged us the coffees of the next table. Whenever we asked for something the young waitress went off to look after other tables. The people next to us arrived 15 min after us and were served really quickly. Food was nice , but they charged me 13% service which is unacceptable. Terrible experience
My second time at Santini. Loved the food and the atmosphere. Service very good. People very friendly, always a smile.
Great meal and service. Highly recommend!
Great food and great service, love coming here
My favorite Italian restaurant in London.
What a gem of a find when I googled for restaurants around Victoria. Couldn't fault ANYTHING at Santini's. If you love Italian food, make sure you pay them a visit. There attention to detail is WOW! We gave our friend a birthday present when we arrived at our table & the staff had overheard. After our main meal when deciding on dessert, they presented our friend with a birthday dessert treat & we didn't even request this.
Make sure to visit Santini!
Too expensive for what it is...
I had been to this restaurant at least three or four times in the last year or so and was very surprised that when I returned with my wife, even though it was not crowded, they initially seated us in the bar area which is noisy and not conducive to conversation. So I asked to be moved in the main dining area. The service was attentive, but the prices were high, even for London for an Italian restaurant, so I was somewhat disappointed in that as well.
It was lovely. I reviewed it on Tripadvisor so have a look there if you like to see more. Highly recommend it.
A very enjoyable and healthy dinner served by extremely friendly staff
Excellent neighbourhood gem. Fabulous food, generous portions and romantic ambiance. My husband and I will definitely return again and again. The staff too, was very welcoming and warm.
enjoyed this restaurant very much friendly professional staff, nice decor tables reasonably placed and comfortable furniture .Bread and oil excellent , did not go for a starter. Mains good although I thought on mine a little more crab would have been nicer for the price , deserts and drinks were excellent. Yes I would definitely eat there again in the summer would also be good because the outside terrace area was outstanding.
Great staff with a friendly outlook. The food was excellent with good size portions topped off with an excellent red from Italy. 100% will go back soon, everyone was very thoughtful.
As always a perfect meal. Great staff and delicious food
I like the new decor, service is still great, friendly, fast but not rushing, food is great although I preferred the Vongole without Butarga.
The music was horrendous, on entering I thought a brass band was playing followed by a child playing the piano. at times the music went ok but to many songs on the playlist were massively out dated.
It was truly a great experience, the ambience was beautiful. We sat outdoors even though it was so cold but with the heaters we truly enjoyed the beautiful setting! And the food was authentic Italian which we thoroughly enjoyed
Cibo italiano ottimo bella l’atmosfera personale gentilissimo
My experience was really good. The place had amazing service, very nice staff and food was so good.
Travel to england
I took my wife for a pre xmas meal out prior to going to the theatre. I'd been about 25 years ago and she'd asked for Italian but not pizza! It was Friday before xmas and we arrived at 5.30 and finishes a little before 7.00. We were the only diners ( inside). We therefore got the best of service and the food was in effect specially prepared. Lovely too. A bit pricey especially the drinks but don't let that spoil a very good evening.
Overall Amazing staff, kind, discreet, professional, smiley, happy... just great!
All in all a very, very good dining experience compared to many Central London fine dining establishments. Super service. The food's brilliant and the surroundings sumptuous, elegant and very classy without being stuffy. It's expensive but quite frankly, very much worth the money.
Great place with excellent staff, nice food and the best atmosphere.
Service was bad ,
Delicious food, varied choices on menu for vegetarians, pretty decor.
What a wonderful evening ! Food was excellent and staff so warm and attentive without being invasive. Well done we will be back.
The restaurant was really good, however, don't book through Open table, they sent the incorrect name on the booking confirmation, i called the restaurant to change this, however, Open table's system then cancelled the update and when we arrived at the restaurant they didn't have the booking in the correct name, this was a business meeting and extremely embarrassing
Although the menu prices are not cheap, the food and service were absolutely fantastic! We will certainly be paying Santini another visit.
Popped in for a quick meal before the theatre. Explained this was the case and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Food was fabulous and good wine at a reasonable price. I would certainly revisit without hesitation.
Just ‘OK’ service was ok, food was ok, atmosphere was ok. Not great value.
Was a great evening - the guest I was with said it was one of the best Seafood linguini he’s had (and it is his favourite dish)
Food okay. Squid starter wasn’t good. Didn’t taste fresh, too much batter. Could be a lot lighter and fresher.
Main course of sea bass was good, zucchini frites v good.
Sorbet dish was v bad. The sorbet was solid as a rock / frozen. And it’s hard to eat in the shells of fruit. Style over substance.
Overall, our waitress was good. But the food was average.
Feels like the decor needs a revamp too, looks a little tired.
Very pedestrian, and not imaginative at all. Chicken clearly a mistreated bird, probably frozen, surely badly overcooked and the bird itself flavorless, hidden by heavy hand with spices. Pasta carbonara ok, but in no measure approaching the dish it is in most home kitchens and trattorias.
Maybe an off night but I'd not return to find out.
Early meal before theatre. They apologised that they had not yet finalised their new pre-theatre menu, so we chose a la carte, which was excellent, all of it! There was not a single thing on the menu that was not mouth-watering! It's not cheap, but a wonderful restaurant for a special occasion. If only it was more central to the west end.
This restaurant was recommended by several friends and lived up to our expectations. It is hitting on all cylinders. We arrived early so we experience before and after the crowd arrived. Ambience, food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back on our next visit to London.
IT WAS AMAZING! They treated us like the most special people and the food was outstanding. Don’t hesitate to eat at this restaurant, the people are wonderful, it’s gorgeous and the food is so so delicious.
The food and service is impeccable . I ate the crab linguine which was delicious
This was the first visit for us.
We arrived 15 minutes early and having booked a table for three people were shown to a table for two.
The table was relayed for three and then for some reason they tried to insert a chair for a fourth person.
The first 20 minutes was a bit of a comedy as it appeared that the right hand did not know what the left hand was doing, rather farcical but not the end of the world.
The food was magnificent and delicious and we will definitely return and recommend our friends to do the same.
