Very good food and service from a great team at Santore. Excellent as always.
The restaurant is in the perfect location for a pre theatre meal. It would also be convenient if visiting the area and looking for a light lunch.
The waiting staff are very efficient and courteous.
The service was exactly the right speed between courses.
I have eaten here several times and have been disappointed.
The anti pasta starter was particularly good offering hot and cold food.
The restaurant is nice, there are lots of good options on the menu and the staff is friendly. However I thought the food was way too salty and that there was a lot of unpleasant noise, to the point that it was difficult to have a conversation even if we were just two people at a small table. Lots of great places on Exmouth Market so might not go back to this one, unfortunately.
This lovely Italian is just down the road from is and we visit often. Food is reliable normally though we found the garlic bread lacking in garlic and was just tomatoes on pizza dough. Steak, excellent though. Service was efficient and friendly. Great Nero d Avalo too.
Have visited here many times. Very handy for visiting Sadlers Wells theatre either pre or post show. Food very good, great pizzas and good specials. We had suckling pig for one dish which was good. But it is the staff that really stand out. They are lovely, and if they recognise you they treat you like an old friend. Wonderful Italian wine list. Every bottle we have had here has been delicious. Definitely worth a visit - although it can be extremely busy so worth booking.
The reviews were raving so I was a little disappointed. Although nothing was wrong with the food and the service was very nice I did find overall it was just like any other Italian. Portions were a good size, restaurant was busy. Looking around I think perhaps pizza is better than pasta and does a roaring trade. I won;t personally be returning as I found it a little pricey for what it was and prefer Bella Vita on Broadway market for value and taste.
had an excellent quick lunch before my son went back to uni from kings cross service and food were very good
Santore is a regular dinner venue when we're in London. It has a wonderful ambience - busy but not too noisy - and the staff are very friendly and obliging. Food is well prepared and presented and offered at competitive prices. The same goes for their extensive range of wines. The restaurant being on a road with restricted traffic access, a number of tables is available on the pavement outside the restaurant at which meals can be taken; this area is heated in the cooler months. All in all a good value venue with a real Italian atmosphere.
one of the best pizzas in London, a meter of pizza is a must try! friendly staff, great wines
I came here for a birthday lunch on a Saturday with a group of friends, we had the 1 meter pizza to share and a few starters. Loved the pizza-tasted yummy and great for sharing. The aubergine starters were really delicious! Atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, the waiters are really really lovely and friendly, always making jokes with us and making sure we was okay. Definitely recommend this place for birthdays and large groups, and will be coming back with boyfriend.
It's simply by far and away the best pizza I town. Stunning
San tore never disappoints. The pizzas are excellent and we always have a good time. I have gone many times, always with new friends and we all love it.
Have been going here for a few years and I'm still yet to find better pizza in London. Waiting staff have personality whilst not being over the top, and a good selection of red wine. If there are a bunch of you, getting the yards of pizza is fun.
Great food, very welcoming and helpful staff - always a pleasure.
The pizza al metro always generates a buzz and is a great ice-breaker with groups. Quality reliably high and relaxed atmosphere a plus.
I had never seen Santore' so busy on a Tuesday evening: I could hardly hear myself speak. This is a gang-booking restaurant more than an intimate & romantic one...but if you need cheering up it's just the thing!
Went here for my birthday with a big group of friends and it was the second visit for me. Both times the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the service very good. It made my night very special and I had a fabulous time. Would definitely go there again and recommend to anyone.
Every time I have been here I have had a great meal and today was no exception and once again I found the service efficient and friendly.
Never disappoints, food is always amazing - and it's from an Italian person! Staff is very nice too, we were late and kept our table and allowed us to stay for longer.
Santore serves authentic southern Italian food . Food, wine and ambience are all great and the staff are very helpful and friendly
We ate here on our last visit to London as we stay close by in the Holiday Inn. Again an excellent meal, especially their Mixed Anti Pasta, best I've ever had!
Quite literally the best pizza and pasta I have ever had. Whatever you do have the carpaccio of beef to start it is mind blowing. The supersize pizzas are great for a night out with friends, and with a wine list to make Olly Smith drool you can have a great bottle to go with for under £20 easily.
Good food, good ambience. Busy restaurant and lively. Good menu choice
As always at Santore you get excellent food, good service, great wine, good ambience and the genuine Italian experience.
Never yet had a bad experience. Portion sizes are generous, food fresh and wine I e cold when asked. Always a pleasure!!
Outstanding Neapolitan pizzas (and it is also a good idea to have a go at Panuozzo). The rest of the menu is good simple Italian food at the right price. Good and friendly service.
Closest thing you can get from italy! Delicious food, good service. It's not cheap but definitely worth it.
Santore' is one pf the best pizzas in town; the rest of the menu of fairly good as well: simple but tasty Italian food at the right price. Service is good. On a Friday night it may become a bit noisy.
Always excellent food and service at Santore, and never fails to impress. Great value, proper Italian food, relaxed atmosphere.
Best pizza in London...introduced two of my pizza-loving friends and they LOVED it too - waiters are so lovely and the pizza and wine is just delicious!!
Have eaten here several times and it has always been a good experience. It is in Exmouth market just down the road from Sadlers Wells so ideal pre or post theatre. Had been mix up with our booking and had changed time so worried to see a long queue outside waiting for a table as it was packed. Almost immediately a head waiter clock us and said our name almost before we did whilst leading us to the only free table. Made us feel special as they always do. Food good and finally tried the pizza - which was fab. Well worth the visit.
Excellent traditional Italian restaurant. Good food withwonderful, attentive, friendly service. Great for dinner prior to evening at Sadlers Wells.
Pizza excellent - just how it should be! very handy fro Sadlers Wells, Staircase down to toilets is a bit bouncy :-)
Santore is a very good Italian restaurant in Exmouth Market which makes it ideal for before or after visiting Sadlers Wells theatre. The food is good, and the wine even better but what really makes it special are the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly and do their best to make you feel special. The portions are very generous. We ordered Calamari and clams to start with and pasta dishes for main course. By the time the pasta arrived we were so full we could hardly eat any so they very kindly put it in a container to take home with us. Definitely worth a visit. One of these days I will try the pizzas - you can see them being made and they look very good.
Our dinner at Santore was really enjoyable: we fully enjoyed our pizzas, the best feature in the menu and we were not disappointed by the other courses. We will go back
One of the best pizza joints in town. Better than anything you get in Italy
We go here quite a lot and it's always excellent
I've been here a few times now and it's become the place to take my overseas guests. If you want true Italian pizza, friendly service and fun buzzing atmosphere then this is the place for you! equally great for date night or groups.
I had the veal and although good, the pizza and pasta are always the standouts. Will go back!
Six of us went for Sunday lunch before a performance at Sadlers Wells. It's an unpretentious Italian restaurant with good reliable food and exceptionally pleasant and friendly service. Our waiter made a real effort to make us feel welcome. Not cutting edge or exciting gastronomy but it hit the spot perfectly.
Santore was great for a pre-theatre meal before heading up to Sadlers Wells. Very friendly staff, good food and it didn't feel rushed even though we were on a time limit. I would go there again for a pre-theatre meal.
I was welcomed warmly into the restaurant and was not rushed whilst waiting for my 3 friends to arrive, despite the staff having to turn folk without a reservation away. The service was friendly and we were given time to choose. The food was lovely and the extras we requested on the pizzas were done to a tee. Overall, a very relaxing and value for money evening.
