Very pleasant before Broadway Show experience... would do it again. Perfect service and perfect food... perfect price !!
Great experience, will go back
Definitely worth the meal...iconic experience
The team at Sardis made our night in the Theater district perfect. The food and service were extraordinary.
Wonderful service and charming waiters with great personalities. Nice to meet the manager as well. Food was great both nights we were there pre theatre.
Sardi's is an outstanding choice for pre or post Broadway or just for a great meal in Manhattan. It's hard to describe the feeling eating there...you just have to experience yourself. The pork chops were amazing and you don't mind spending $15 for a cocktail when it is made so well. And the Irish Coffee...sublime.
Arrived after Radio City Christmas show for 1:00 reservation. Table was ready. Service was professional and attentive. Food came quickly. We remained at our table long after the lunch crowd had cleared and the service staff never made us feel hurried or the need to clear our table. Love everything about this restaurant!
All the food was delicious. Portions were a perfect size. Service was excellent. I liked how the waitress asked us if we had to be finished by a certain time. That way she could pace our meal. It was perfect.
It was our first time and we loved it all around. The ambiance was nice and the service was amazing. Our food was also just incredible. We loved everything and would definitely go again!
Excellent service and great food
One of our all time favorite theater district restaurants. Such a classic NYC experience!
Loved it! I would recommend. Will return next time we return to NYC.
Classic and classy NY restaurant. Great service, food and ambience
It was better than expected
The location of Sardi's is wonderful because it's in the heart of Times Square area and reflects the character one would imagine from decades past. However, the food was mediocre with the exception of the meatballs which were delicious. We were there during the holidays and likely meals were being cranked out for tourists at a frenetic pace. It just didn't feel like there was the attention to detail or anything special put into the food which is what once made Sardi's a landmark. Hopefully the restaurant will return to the focus on the food because all of the bones and character are already in place.
Sardi's is certainly an important reference point. But it has lost some its luster and the whole operation seems a little creaky.
The food is just OK, I was disappointed, and service not all that great - and I was not expecting too much.
Could use an interior update, something to make the celebrity portraits stand out and be noticed.
* Redisplay the celebrity portraits so that you can identify the people, easily.
* Create and sell a guidebook to Sardi's, combining a little history with a key to all the celebrity portraits.
The service was great and it's fun to be in such an historical location before a show. The food is pretty good, but not great. Very expensive for the quality of the food, but the place was packed, so they are probably charging the right prices. I think you are paying for the history, not the food.
Pre Theater meal
Old New York + Broadway glamor at its best! Please support these valuable NY icons!
Thanksgiving meal was simply incredible from start to finish!
Amazing Thanksgiving dinner! Wonderful choices and all in our party enjoyed the meal- kids to adults!
Thanksgiving date Diner
Super service and delicious food! Perfect location post Broadway matinee. Thank you very much!
Delicious and classic. Baked Alaska!
Everything was great. Took 1.5 hours for appetizer, main course and dessert.
Great service and delicious food. Loved the ambiance. A “must” dining experience.
Great experience. Would definitely go again!!!
Sardi's is a NYC icon. Everything is high priced, but the food quality, the food presentation, and wait service is always top notch. For those on a budget, try coming in at lunch time. Several of the dishes have an "entree" and "appetizer" portion which also helps control price. Sardi's opens at 11am, so if you want a quieter experience, try coming in before noon. Even when the dinning room is full, however, the noise is not overwhelming.
When in NY a must if looking for a nod to the past.
As usual, we enjoyed the crab cakes...........and the ambiance of this historic theater district venue.
Excellent in every way.
Sardi's has and will always be a very special place for me. My mother has been taking me to Sardi's since I was 2 years old. The food has always been superlative and the service fabulous. Whenever we arrive, the Maitre d greets us warmly and by name. It is a wonderful dining experience, and we always look forward to going there. It is our happy place.
Fair service. I ordered burger med well and husband ordered med rare. Asked if mine was the med we’ll Nd waiter said yes. It was rare and my husband got the med well. I was almost finished with mine when he finally got his bd side his side was wrong. Very overpriced. Very touristy. Not what Sardi’s used to be.
Lovely lunch with my Daughter before attending Jagged Little Pill
Moms 70th early Birthday celebration
Have used Sardi’s for years as our office used to be above it.
Thoroughly enjoyed our pre show experience.
Thank you so much for a great experience for me and my daughters! We arrived 15 min early for our reservation and were seated right away! We will definitely come back
The staff couldn't have been lovelier. We had a great corner table and it wasn't yet busy but they were so accommodating. We had the chicken parm...which was done to perfection, the green beans were warm and crispy, the spinach canneloni was terrific. I appreciated the service and the mood. Didn't feel rushed. The food was yummy and it was a quintessential NYC experience. Well done.
