Sartoria Ratings and Reviews
The Tortelli to start with the Lobster pasta were both outstanding, particularly the Tortelli. Best Veal Milanese I have ever had for main, lovely touch when the waiter brings the whole cut of meat over then slices and serves to you both. Staff were very accommodating it, the atmosphere was romantic and intimate. Had a very special evening.
We never tire of eating here-a dish of wonderful pasta-venison with parpadelle- or the delicious Real Veal Milanese. The Chicken Broth with with tiny pasta parcels is exquisite.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and the decor is lovely.
Long may it continue
Sartoria didn't disappoint. Having been once before I was eager to take another friend. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was served quickly but that didn't affect the quality. Everything we had from the tagliolini starter to my octopus main was delicious as was my friend's chicken. The sommelier was very helpful in choosing a wine. Ice cream and pannacotta finished the meal. The sommelier is very helpful.
Fabulous experience. The team are among some
of the most knowledgable and efficient we have experienced in the world.
The food is delicately created and is true to it's beautiful Italian roots.
Thank you for a lovely evening.
We received a very warm welcome and had a delicious cocktail at the bar (we arrived early, were offered out table but decided to have a drink) before being sat for dinner. The staff were attentive, explained the menu and served us well. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
We went for a celebration dinner. We found the food excellent both in terms of the quality of ingredients and of the way the dishes were cooked and presented. The deep fried courgettes and the zabaione pudding are unforgettable experiences. The wine list was very good and went well with our dishes. The service was excellent, friendly without being intrusive and always with an air of great professionalism.
All in all a very enjoyable experience
We arrived early for our 5.30 booking hoping to eat early. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't start serving until 5pm so we decided to get some cocktails and sit outside. We enjoyed sipping our drinks and people watching until our table was ready. After looking at the menu we decided to choose the set menu which included a glass of champagne. The whole meal was delightful, served at a good temperature and perfect timing. Nice chat with the sommelier too.
We went first time as an experiment to find a new venue for family get-togethers. Four out of five chose the special FT champagne menu.
Food was exquisite, every course prefect.
Selection of wines was good and some "good value for London" standards were available and good.
Service was impeccable, most considerate dealing with a noisy group function in an adjoining room.
Will go again and recommend to others.
Love Sartoria and it never lets down. The risotto with red shrimp tartare and basil is an absolute stunning summer dish, part of the FT weekend & Laurent-Perrier summer menu, incredible value at 4 courses plus glass of champagne for £65. And the portions are so generous (proper Italian style). A presto
This is one of the best restaurants we have visited in some time. The luncheon set price menu was varied and excellent - everything prepared freshly in the kitchen. The ambience was quiet, the table setting beautiful and we were allowed to linger over our meal for some four hours without pressure to vacate out table. The sommelier was classic.
Booked a table for breakfast with some overseas business associates. It was all really good, styling, decor, furniture and fittings, reception, service, table size and spacing, and of course the food. WiIl definitely use this again and maybe try lunch also
Fab restaurant with well made Italiens classics. The ambiance is elegant and cozy. Will be back. The only thing that sort of surprised me was the 12 GBP pasta and tomato kids dish. Italians welcome kids, no?! But overall a super experience even as a vegetarian.
I visited this restaurant with my best friend for lunch on Saturday. We had the most wonderful time. The food was exquisite and the ambience just lovely.
I have been to this restaurant before and I have never been disappointed, I have even booked a table for Mother's Day.
Whenever you decide to go and whatever the time, you will enjoy it. 😀😀
