The place is quite small, but there is also a downstairs area. The servers were very nice and polite. The satay was great and I would definitely recommend the Mee Goreng.

Authentic Malaysian food. Owners Fatiza & Aishah were friendly and warm, and went out of their way to offer off menu items that I was longing for.

Delicious food, good prices, lovely staff. It was quiet due to Covid but we so enjoyed our food etc. we stayed 4 hours! Highly recommend it and would definitely return!

Staff were very attentive and polite. The food was great apart from one of the dishes that i tried, but i suppose that is personal preference. The food came in a timely manner and would definitely recommend the Roti Channai.

I try to treat myself to Satay House once a month. On my most recent visit the food was outstandingly well cooked. I had a mixed satay and bagadil for starters and Kari Laksa for my main course. For my drink I always like to have a sirup limu - find it refreshes me! The service is delivered by experienced staff who know the menu very well and mood and atmosphere is always relaxing and quite pleasant!

A satisfactory evening meal for a taste of Malaysian food. Portion of food is small including the fried kway teow which was much more appetisingly presented some years ago at the same restaurant. Overall, it was average but the staff was attentive and the service was good.

Excellent, authentic Malaysian food! The staff here are really friendly and helpful! It's a small, casual dining place that I'm sure would be normally buzzing pre-covid. The atmosphere suffers a little bit die to social distancing requirement but don't let that put you off! Highly recommend the braised beef, was absolutely amazing!!

Food was of good quality but portion size for the price was very poor. £16.80 for a mixed starter for two people which consisted of 2 skinny chicken satay, 2 skinny lamb satay, 2 spring rolls and 2 lamb and potato cutlets.

Every time I'm in London I always make a point of visiting the Satay House. If you want Malaysian food well cooked and served this place is worth a visit.

Love this place.
Only disappointment was that I requested quiet corner and was given a table in middle next to gangway.

Amazing food!

We enjoyed the food very much and it was such good value. The service was pleasant, too. We would rather not have had to listen to the beat music which seems to be obligatory in all restaurants these days. Why do restaurant owners think that all their customers want to hear music whilst they are dining?

Great food and good service. I wasn't familiar with the items on the menu but the waitress very kindly took me through it and made some recommendations. I had the vegetable spring roles and a chicken curry with rice which was very tasty.

As always, the Satay House did not disappoint. We were tired and hungry and enjoyed the downstairs warm ambience. I have been going to the Satay House since the 80's. I love the food and the friendly atmosphere.

Extremely tasty food and a friendly and helpful staff. The dining space is not especially comfortable, and while we were lucky, a very loud table left shortly after we arrived, and it's clear that at times the noise level could be a problem here. All in all, however, very satisfied and I would gladly return.

I never fail to have a really great meal at this restaurant. It is one of my favourite.

What a wonderful dinner. Warm and welcoming service, fantastic food, cosy ambiance. This is a little gem and I’ll be back as soon as possible to try the rest of the fab dishes on the menu. Really special.
