We cook all our food, sauces, bread, pates and desserts on the premises. Everything is homemade with fresh and natural ingredients. If we can’t make it, we don’t have it! We never use precooked food, flavour enhancers or preservatives. We only use natural butter, cholesterol free oils or olive oil.
Our wine has been sourced from the best wine producing countries in the world and the wine list has been put together with care, to offer the best value for money wines.
The price you see is all you pay. There are no hidden charges and all the meals come with vegetables and a basket of freshly baked bread. We have no happy hour or buy one get one free. We try to give the highest quality food at the lowest possible price. There are very few restaurants that can make this claim.
Nice reunion dinner - ambiance and decor and food. Marred slightly by a very large table next to us who were having a quiz night and bellowing. The staff quickly offered us a private room to complete our meal and hear each other!
Savoir Faire in London's New Oxford Street never disappoints; warm welcome and comfy environment. As with all but the priciest London establishments space is at a premium and tables inevitably close together but the staff ensure best use of space possible.
Asparagus and smoked Salmon and rich chicken kidneys gave us a delicious start; the house lamb hotpot and moussaka left us feeling we'd had a meal cooked very much with traditional flavours in mind - splendid!
The food was very tasty and the staff were very obliging in catering for my party of 9. I will absolutely be returning.
We booked a table at 18:00 before going to a show in a nearby theatre at 19:30. We ate from the pre-theatre menu (starters & mains) and all our meals were delicious (as evidenced by our empty plates). We will definitely be coming back here again.
The food was very good and a good selection from the menu and a convenient location.
Outstanding steak frites with attentive service! Centrally located, few mins from holborn stn
We live near Sheffield. Savoir Faire has been where we have entertained friends from all over the world for many years. Quality and value and sadly rare today the same high standard has been maintained on every visit. Our French friends were delighted and have booked for another visit before they return to their home.
Wonderful meal, great service, location and ambience!
If you’re looking for a cosy night, great ambience, very friendly, lovely food and you can have comfortable conversation or even go alone this is a little gem.
Another very nice lunch, and on a rainy day the ambience was very cosy. My friends and I had omelettes and chips. Their chips are lovely!
Friendly service, lovely food, a thoughtful wine selection.
Wonderful little restaurant for a pre-theatre meal. Food was excellent service was good and the setting intimate. My wife and I had a wonderful meal and would definitely return again.
Was in the area and looking for a place for dinner. Chose Savoir Faire based on the good reviews. It was great. The menu was small but yummy. Small restaurant but the staff did a great job accommodating. Will return when in the area again
An absolute jewel of a restaurant. Have eaten many times and it never disappoints. The food is excellent, wines are great value and service is charming.
Poor ambiance, poor food. Save yourself the disappointment.
Great food. Great service. Great price. Steak was excellent.
Every time we eat here the food is exceptional.
Delicious, creative food in a cozy neighborhood setting—we loved everything about it!
The food was tasty and rustic looking, the service impeccable apart from someone's fries hadn't arrived on time but the waiting staff were very patient with us as it's been years since the 4 of us met up and we hadn't looked at the menu to order for the first 15 minutes of arriving. We weren't at all hurried and we had a great time.
This restaurant was recommended to me and I'll definitely will recommend it to others, too, visiting that part of London.
Good choices, great value, very pleasant service. Have been often and hope to go again soon.
This restaurant is a great value: 2 course fixed price with many choices in each course. I had the asparagus dish first and it was beautifully presented. Lamb in 2nd course was perfectly cooked.
All three starters and mains were perfectly cooked and very tasty. We enjoyed our meals very much. The staff were very friendly and suitably attentive. The only criticisms I have of the experience would be that the two-course evening menu “offer” is actually rather expensive, especially once drinks are included and the desserts themselves were fairly ordinary, after what were some ambitious and lovely earlier courses. I would still recommend this restaurant and I hope to return again to try some of the dishes I didn’t have!
Good French cafe cuisine. Service friendly and casual. Food very good and good value considering this is London. Scallops recommended.
A great value. Fourth time we have taken friends to eat there. It never disappoints.
Great as always
We loved the friendly service and atmosphere here. It was very loud, but that was partly for to win especially rowdy party seated next to us in such a small space. Food was what you’d expect in the bistro style.
Great value - nice authentic French menu - always reliable
Food was very good, as was house wine. I liked one could buy a carafe not just a bottle or glass. Restaurant ambience nice and decor colourful. Toilet area was not good though; not well maintained or cleaned. Surfaces seems sticky.
Amazing food at incredibly low prices: cheerful friendly service: good house wine by bottle or carafe.
Excellent food, excellent service. Traditional French food of the best quality.
Really good food and we both have a lot of experience in the food business
Would happily recommend as a good unpretentious bistro
This was our fifth time to the restaurant, it never falters in value for money and food quality. A little gem of a restaurant in central London. We can’t wait to return.
Our second visit and won’t be our last. Good food, good value and reasonably priced wine. A perfect place to meet up with friends for lunch. Service was fine.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience all round. Nice original menu. Pleasant service
Savoir Fayre offers fantastic French food in a convivial atmosphere. There are parisian ladies doing the cancan on the walls and interesting quotations on the ceiling. Perfect for a pre theatre bite or a relaxed meal with friends. The garlic, pernod mussels are highly recommended.
We had very good meal with my favorite part being the duck pate (fo gra). Spell check. Sorry.
Very good restaurant. Full of flavour. Duck was amazing.
The only thing is bistro means in French a reasonable priced place to eat and from this point of view was a bit excessive.
As authentic French as you like. Established, homely, great food, v pleasant staff. Lovely.
Fantastic little family restaurant, third visit here, it’s our go to now when we go to London. Lovely freshly cooked food, great service and fab prices. Highly recommend.
Pleasant surroundings, service good, meal average. We had a table for 2 which with a bottle of wine and a jug of water on was quite small, had to overlap my side and main plate.
