Fix the restroom! Shabby. Halb and die menu ist nicht Deutsch order Schweis. Was isr MIT zu?
The food was excellent! Service was knowledgable and very pleasant
Took forever to get drinks appetizers and the main meal we got their at 630pm and didn’t leave until around 9pm, however I thought the food I ordered was pretty decent
This was not my first time at the restaurant, I came back because I enjoyed it the first time around. This time again we really enjoyed it, we found the food to be well prepared, tasty and it was hot when we got the food at our table. We enjoyed the variety of the menu and tried several different sides to go with our meal. Prices were reasonable and the waitress was attentive. Would come back again..
Delicious food!!!! Service was great. Will come back.
Enjoyed the food —-my husbands mother was born in Germany so he has had a lot of this food through his childhood. He enjoyed it
Restaurant was fairly empty. We were seated and there were crumbs all over my husbands seat and the floor was sticky. We ordered beer cheese fondue and they were out of it. Then tried the pretzel and it was very good. We got our main meals and the sauerkraut was delicious, the meats were good, but the German potato salad potatoes needed to be cooked more and the potato pancakes had a greenish hue and tasted rubbery.
it was closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great menu with great food and prices! Service was good, drink variety was excellent!
Ambiance not as charming as new road location. Ran out of German potato salad! Jagerschnitzel was great. Loved the Gewirtstraminer.
Decent food, but they seemed understaffed to handle Father's Day business. We made a reservation as we were a large party, but they turned people away who did not have reservations despite many empty tables after waiting at the hostess desk for at least 15 minutes. Our table took a while to be ready so we waited in the bar which was completely empty, even the bartender was missing. At least 10 minutes later, one appeared and we got our drinks. Once seated at the table, it took a long time for our server to acknowledge us and that set the tone for the duration of our visit. He would visit our table once and then vanish for an extended period of time. The bottom line is that customer service was lacking and that was our biggest complaint at this last visit. It just seemed like they needed more staff.
I was quite surprised, I was invited out Friday night to the schnitzel and company. Even though my family history goes back to the German traditions for me my experience in the past with German food has not been all that positive. Simply I'm not crazy about it! But tonight I was quite mildly surprised that all selections are quite excellent, in my case I had what they called "choice of 2 sausages" which included 2 sides in my case it was potato pancakes and German potatoes! Top that off with the German style beer, in this case, a Pilsner, and it all added up to a great meal. Simple enough I'm coming back again!
Good pot roast poutine appetizer.
Decent beer selection.
Dinner items: Wiener schnitzel and best wurst were both mediocre and high priced for what was served.
Spaetzle was thick, gloppy and tasteless.
Would not return for a meal.
The food was very good, especially the brussel sprouts. The restaurant, for being 5:00 and empty, was very dirty. Landscaping could use some attention as well. Very nice bar area.
Great food and atmosphere. I plan on going again for the excellent food and service!
Food was delicious. Server was absolutely awful. We ordered three coffees, only got two, had to ask three more times for the third coffee, and still didn’t get it. I had to get up from the table and hunt down another server to get my coffee. Forget ever getting refills. Kind of frustrating when it’s a buffet, and beverages are your only job.
This was easily one of the worst meals I've ever had in a restaurant. The site stated it was buffet or ala carte. I have some members of our family who would have preferred ala carte, but our server advised us it was simply buffet for Mother's Day. We went up to a buffet that lacked labels, cold, stale food and serving utensils laying inside the pans on top of the product. The restaurant was dirty and every coffee mug on our table needed to be replaced. When our server approached the table I advised him that the straw he put in my drink still had the wrapper on half of it, he offered to get me a new straw (not a new drink) and then stated he was embarrassed. I guess that makes two of us.
There is no excuse for burned food and wilted lettuce.
the German potato salad was too dry. Everyone who ordered it was disappointed. Other than that, the food was good. We were able to hang out after dinner which was great. The waitress was awesome checking on us at all times. Servings were huge and most everyone needed a take home container. Now just moisten up the German potato salad!
First time there and had a great dinner.
We had a delicious dinner and our waiter, Alex, was attentive without being pushy. It was a very quiet evening.
We had a wonderful dinner on our anniversary. I had the perch schnitzel which was just perfect. Crisp and light. My husband had the chicken schnitzel which he enjoyed very much.
This is the second time we've been to Schnitzel's for our anniversary and we've enjoyed
it very much. We will be back! Great food!
We went for Easter Brunch and it was wonderful. There were so many options and they were all freshly presented. The staff was really hustling and it must have been a very rough day on them. We have been here several times for dinner and the food is always amazing. Buffets are hard as it is mass production, but they did a fantastic job of it. I'm hoping they do the same for Mother's Day.
We enjoy coming to the restaurant staff always cheerful and courteous food has always been outstanding
Great menu and service! Our waiter was funny and efficient! Great Restaurant Week choice !
Unbelievable homemade German food. No point in mentioning specific dishes because there were 4 of us and every single thing we had was absolutely delicious!
Table ready on time. Order accurate. Food very good. No complaints!
Menu on website differs from what is actually in restaurant. Ribs were tough and rubbery, walnut salad was absent any nuts whatsoever?,schnitzel not very tender and the few fries were not appetizing. However, the wurst was quite good and slightly undercooked but easily the best item at our table. I would recommend this place to groups where beer and camaraderie were more important than the food.
We were looking for a place that served German food and your restaurant came up as a potential candidate (celebrating my daughters boyfriend birthday who embraces his German heritage). After further research, we decided to go out to dinner at you establishment. We found the staff friendly, the food well prepared and presented besides being simply delicious. All 4 of us came away impressed with what we ate. While hoping for a bit more of a German atmosphere, the interior was relaxing and comfortable.
The only negative (if you can call it that) was the waiter disappeared at times when we could have used him (to take our food order, for a drink refill, bring us the check) He did allude at the beginning that he was new so I guess we could forgive him for the slight delays.
We will definitely recommend your establishment to others and return ourselves in the future.
Great food and service. First time there. Will definitely be going back.
For a good review I will have to make several return visits, but rest assured I will be heading back.
The only negative was finding out the beer braised ribs on the gluten-free menu were not made with gluten-free beer ( they do offer gluten-free beer in the beer section of their menu). I would suggest taking that menu item off of the gluten-free menu as that dish is not gluten-free if made with regular beer. You could make the dish using gluten-free beer and it would be ok. FYI.
The food is good the reason I didn’t give it the highest rating is I have been to Germany several times and the spaetzle isn’t quite the same
All good except dining room musics was too loud
Good hearty german food.
My husband is Hungarian and loved his meal.
I had the Fish fry and while good, the beer batter could have been better
Best food in the area. And our service was great!
Service was good...friendly and welcoming. The food was OK. However, I would not order what I had a second time.
We went to Schnitzel for my husbands birthday and had a great time-the staff was wonderful! Thank you for good food and great service!
Food & service was VERY GOOD. Unfortunately, the table next to us was extremely loud & we could hardly hear each other at our table.
Took a long time for us to order appetizers, and to get our food, could have been because there server was down, or because the service is slow... but the food is so good, and very reasonably priced! Would recommend
