The food was decent and our server was nice. However, we had quite a long wait for our food and it wasn’t even busy. We were there over an hour before we got our meals and when they came out, they definitely seemed like they’d been sitting there waiting for awhile to be brought to us. I had a fish fry and it was lukewarm. Typically they’re piping hot and I have to wait a bit to even try to eat it. My husband got the broiled fish and said the same thing. Overall, not super impressed. We’d maybe try again and get some of the other menu items, but it’ll probably be a bit before we’ll go back.
The fish fry along with the side dishes were very good. My wife and I had the broiled fish, it was served hot. The staff was short handed but did an excellent job.
The service was slow. We had to ask for a glass with our beer. We were told they were out of a beer we ordered, but 1/2 hour later we saw it being served to other customers. We were only given 2 menus for our table of 8. Disappointed.
We ended up not eating. No one was at the host's desk when we arrived. After several minutes we finally found someone behind the bar who could locate a host. After that person didn't show up for several minutes, we left.
Always good food and excellent service.
Food was good, as usual!
We always enjoy dinner at schnitzel! This is our first time back since the pandemic started and things are a bit different as to be expected but the staff still provides great service and the food is amazing as well
We were glad to have dined at Schnitzel. The food quality and preparation was superb. The potato pancakes are as authentic as it gets. Great schnitzel too. Also enjoyed the unique, but tasty, brussel sprouts and coleslaw with my fish fry. Well done Schnitzel. Choos.
So happy to be back. Food was so good!
Always a great, authentic meal. Service is friendly.
Food was good. Didn't care for the fried spaetzle. Chardonnay was terrible. Had German chocolate cake for dessert. Way too much frosting and not enough cake, but good.
Enjoyed dining at Schnitzel & Co. The food was amazing!
Awesome German food. Great value. Service was great too. Definitely one of my favorites!
We found the food not to authentic at all. It tasted good, but just wasn't what we expected for "German".
Everything was wonderful
Restaurant was closed
Making reservations was extremely easy, service and food was outstanding, I strongly recommend this restaurant
Great did as always. Very well socially distanced from other tables. Staff wore masks and we felt safe
Had reservations at 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening and there were only three other tables that were being serviced. I would suspect that was due to COVID-19 (people not wanting to dine out, etc.).
However overall this is a wonderful restaurant, with great food and service!
Made a reservation for 745pm and the table was not ready. Hostess needed to clean off tables and finally sat us in the backroom. There was a large and VERY LOUD table, which the waiter was occupied with. The hostess ended up being the waitress. Our waters were never refilled, we never received our bread, and my husband said his food was mediocre. Due to the loud table we should’ve been sat in the main room.
With my family on a Sunday they had unlimited food any item on the menu so we tried all kinds of apps and had a beer flight. Excellent food and beer, very reasonable.
Love going there. Reminds me of my years in Germany. So happy to have authentic flavors locally.
The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Went on a quite night, so it wasn't too busy or too crowded. Would definitely go again.
Great food and our server Desiree was awesome
We ate outside. Staff is very friendly. No wait. Clean. The potato pancakes were delicious. My first time eating German food. I thought it was very good. My brother in-law lived in Germany for 4 years. He thought that some of the food was good and other not so good. I would eat there again and try different food items.
Went right at 4 when they opened on a Friday. There was only one other older couple there the whole time we were. Food came out cold, with 4 people in the entire restaurant this is unacceptable. If it were busy I could understand but there was no excuse for this. Food was good but would have been better if it wasn’t cold.
Food not the same quality as pre-covid. Some items were tasteless and inedible, or not available on the very limited menu. Doubt if we'll be back.
Best Swiss/ German food around!!
Acceptable experience. Food was ok but far from the best German food I’ve had. Perhaps the shutdown has affected the quality so I’ll ty again but it’s nothing I would go out of my way for.
great food and service. no ones fault but it was 1st day open and not fully stocked at bar or kitchen
It was my birthday and my wife asked me to pick a restaurant I liked, so I picked Schnitzel & Co. From the moment we walked in I started feeling that I had made a mistake. We were seated at small table in a cold corner on the patio of the lightly occupied restaurant. We were able to have our server move us to a different table more inside the restaurant. The food and service was lackluster. I will be finding a new favorite restaurant.
Excellent food. Everyone loved the wiener schnitzel and the potato pancakes.
Great Food definitely will be back
Very nice portions. Gods value for the price. Our server was very efficient and friendly.
Never disappointed at Schnitzel! Food and service
The food and service were great. Great selection of German food and German beer. One of my favorite places to dine out. The food portions were very reasonable.
As always the food was very good.
The service was horrible.
When we arrived we were the only people seated in the dining area.
So where did our server escape to ???
Never came back to refill water glasses nor
ask us how our food was.
I even told her we thought she went home.
When she brought the bill to us she was all smiles but that was way too late
for my liking.
We usually have a wonderful experience at Scnitzel, but this night was a bit off. Our food took over 1 hr. And the appetizer (a pretzel) took over 30 minutes. There were many open tables, so we weren’t sure what happened.
Very nice time. They were short staffed but our waitress was excellent and never missed a beat!
Took out of town guests and were embarrassed by how awful the food was. Won't be going back.
