Love going there. Reminds me of my years in Germany. So happy to have authentic flavors locally.
The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Went on a quite night, so it wasn't too busy or too crowded. Would definitely go again.
Great food and our server Desiree was awesome
We ate outside. Staff is very friendly. No wait. Clean. The potato pancakes were delicious. My first time eating German food. I thought it was very good. My brother in-law lived in Germany for 4 years. He thought that some of the food was good and other not so good. I would eat there again and try different food items.
Went right at 4 when they opened on a Friday. There was only one other older couple there the whole time we were. Food came out cold, with 4 people in the entire restaurant this is unacceptable. If it were busy I could understand but there was no excuse for this. Food was good but would have been better if it wasn’t cold.
Best Swiss/ German food around!!
Food not the same quality as pre-covid. Some items were tasteless and inedible, or not available on the very limited menu. Doubt if we'll be back.
Acceptable experience. Food was ok but far from the best German food I’ve had. Perhaps the shutdown has affected the quality so I’ll ty again but it’s nothing I would go out of my way for.
great food and service. no ones fault but it was 1st day open and not fully stocked at bar or kitchen
It was my birthday and my wife asked me to pick a restaurant I liked, so I picked Schnitzel & Co. From the moment we walked in I started feeling that I had made a mistake. We were seated at small table in a cold corner on the patio of the lightly occupied restaurant. We were able to have our server move us to a different table more inside the restaurant. The food and service was lackluster. I will be finding a new favorite restaurant.
Excellent food. Everyone loved the wiener schnitzel and the potato pancakes.
Great Food definitely will be back
Very nice portions. Gods value for the price. Our server was very efficient and friendly.
Never disappointed at Schnitzel! Food and service
The food and service were great. Great selection of German food and German beer. One of my favorite places to dine out. The food portions were very reasonable.
As always the food was very good.
The service was horrible.
When we arrived we were the only people seated in the dining area.
So where did our server escape to ???
Never came back to refill water glasses nor
ask us how our food was.
I even told her we thought she went home.
When she brought the bill to us she was all smiles but that was way too late
for my liking.
We usually have a wonderful experience at Scnitzel, but this night was a bit off. Our food took over 1 hr. And the appetizer (a pretzel) took over 30 minutes. There were many open tables, so we weren’t sure what happened.
Very nice time. They were short staffed but our waitress was excellent and never missed a beat!
Took out of town guests and were embarrassed by how awful the food was. Won't be going back.
I love the food here. Wednesday night was very quiet - not many people there but it was very good and the service was excellent.
Food was good. I’m just wondering where all the people are? Turn up the German music or bring in a German band on the weekend!
Food was incredible. Portions were large.
Sauer eaten was good. Sausages were very good.
Enjoyed the Hefeweissen. Light with fruity finish.
We celebrated my FILs birthday
I love this restaurant and would have given it 5 stars however it seems every time I go and order the beer cheese fondue, it's never available. It's such a disappointment because it is so good. Maybe take it off the menu if you never have it available.
As much as we loved the food, it took a long time to get to us. The waitress was great, but the kitchen staff finally told her that my husband's sausage choice was still frozen, and he had to make another choice. It was delicious for him, and my Wiener Schnitzel was also delicious. She did the right thing, and I didn't have to pay for my second glass of wine. We will always go back there, and these things happen! We will be back for sure!
We had a ball. Only German restaurant left in town. The chicken schnitzel was great and those that had the pot pie loved it.
Birthday dinner with friends. The service was fantastic and the food was great! Looking forward to going back.
We went for lunch at noon. We were the only table and only people in the place. No bartender, waitress was only there 2 weeks, no manager . The waitress was very helpful and told us there was no bartender. We did order drinks but they ran out of our kind of liquor because of a party the night before. The bathrooms were a mess, not cleaned from the night before. The place should not have been open for business if they were not prepared. We have been three before and it was great. Don't know if I will go back again.
Once again, our experience was very good. Our waiter, Alex, was very attentive, friendly and took very good care of us. The food is always very good, and we will be back!
We were having a date night with friends who we have not seen in months. We usually love the food but all four of us were disappointed by the food and service. Makes me think twice about coming back
We arrived and didn’t really need a reservation. We were the only ones in the large dining room at 6:00. There were a few other parties in the back room. As we were placing our orders we inquired about whether there were onions in some of the side dishes because my husband hates them. About 15 minutes later the manager apologized and said they were out of fish, which both my husband and sister ordered. They placed new orders. My husband ordered a hamburger without onions. When the burger arrived it was covered in fried onions. We had to ask for the sweet potato fries he ordered that were forgotten. His whole meal was pretty cold by the time everything got sorted out. My sister’s food was ok, but my chicken schnitzel was delicious!
We eat here every year after an event. This year was the best so far! The food was outstanding, we had the pork schnitzel, bratwurst and knockwurst. The service was very friendly. My only (very minor) complaint is the way the tables are set up. They are 6-tops with a wooden panel that sits in the center of the table, dividing them in half to make 2- or 3-tops. So you’re sitting literally at the same table as another party, but there’s a wooden “wall” in between your place settings. I suppose this is very European, but it feels a little strange here. At any rate, it won’t stop us from coming back! :)
Schnitzel's makes you feel like you are in Austria with the comfortable open feel, decor, and especially the food! We ordered sausage platters, wienerschnitzle, and pork schnitzle for dinner. All were authentic, well flavored, and bountiful portions. The Apple strudel for dessert was a little disappointing - definitely not enough to share, not as flakey or flavorful as I had expected. The on-tap German beer selections were somewhat limited, apparently because there had been a large crowd in on the night before (Friday). We were also hoping to try the dunkle bourbon ribs shown online but they were not on the menu. Nonetheless, we recommend Schnitzel's for when you have that craving for real German-Austrian-Swiss food.
The service was incredibly slow. Our food arrived cold. It would have been quite tasty at an appropriate temperature.
Not sure if we will return.
Sadly, we were underwhelmed with our experience. We visited on a Sunday evening, and had reservations for 6:30. The restaurant was understaffed and overwhelmed; the hostess was absent for 10 minutes while the lobby filled up; she was rude, unfit (ie, unable to walk quickly or seat people efficiently) and really incompetent at her job (she sat a table, then came back to the hostess stand and started calling that same group's name again; we had to tell her she'd just seated that group). We were told the kitchen was too busy, so directed everyone to the buffet table but then the food on the buffet was either gone or cold. Then it took about 15 minutes for the buffet to be replenished. The staff did accommodate one of our group's birthday with a candle in the dessert and singing (one waiter had an amazing voice!).
We made reservations for their Sunday buffet during Restaurant Week. We expected the restaurant to be busy, which it was. Each of our visits to the buffet was met with at least two or three empty trays. New trays were being brought out of the kitchen constantly, but they were serving too many people for the size of the buffet and couldn't keep up with it. However, if you were willing to go back to the buffet several times, you could eventually get the food you wanted and it was hot and delicious. Also, our server was handling far too many tables. We had to wait about 15 minutes after being seated until she took our drink order, and another 15 minutes until she brought the drinks. Then we only saw her once more until she brought the bill. She was trying her best, but again, they were serving too many people for the number of wait staff available. Great deal and very good food, but next time they need to have more people working or book less reservations.
We tried their buffet special - food ranged from meh to amazing; plenty of choices and we all left full and happy. Service was extremely slow, very friendly but they are clearly understaffed. Took almost an hour to get water and even then, only 3/4 of our table were given water glasses. Try the chicken schnitzel - it’s fantastic
I was very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this place is! We went on a Sunday and they had a magnificent buffet that was very plentiful, fresh and delicious. Be sure to make reservations, it gets packed!!
We went during Restaurant Week. The crowd became large and the food quality and presentation became horrible. They attempted to keep food items stocked but were often in a hurry so things were not tidied up and fixed. Also the hot food was not very hot at times. The noise levels were too much at times.
Excellent value for restaurant week menu. Took awhile to get our meals but I think that's because they were preparing everything fresh. Will definitely go back!
