This was our last night in Punta Mita and our dinner at Sea Breeze was a perfect end of our trip. The view, the staff and food were wonderful.

to get to the restaurant, we were stopped at the resort gates by a skeptical and unfriendly gatekeeper who had to call and confirm reservation, which took over 10 minutes. Very difficult to find the restaurant itself as there were no signs. Brought us cold pizza and steak that had clearly been sitting out for quite awhile. While pizzas were redelivered, hot, and delicious, Second steak delivered was raw and inedible. Was comped a single drink and still charged for $33 steak that was not tender. Extremely disappointed for $265 dinner at a well known resort.

Staying at the st regis this week and started out on a high note with dinner at sea breeze. Chef Manuel did an amazing job preparing vegan dishes for my wife and even came out to the table to confirm they met her needs. Alberto the waiter was attentive and always willing to say yes to requests.
The restaurant needs to better market their vegan options and ability to cater to dietary needs. We were pleasantly surprised but I imagine others have figured they couldn’t eat enough based on what is posted online

They were unaware of our reservation for 8. The staff and manager did not handle the situation well and were unapologetic about the fact that we had to wait for a table to finish the meal before we could be seated. The attitude was unapologetic and dismissive.

We got lucky as table of 8 wanted to move to the bar and so we took their table.


That being said the meal was absolutely delicious, different, and memorable. The wait staff was wonderful and we enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner.

My wife & I are staying at the St Regis resort and the Sea Breeze was one of the dining options available on the property. It was a well worthwhile experience. With an outdoor wood cooking stove and grill there were some great menu options to choose from .
There are several choices if you just feel like a pizza cooked in the wood oven or grilled dishes like huge shrimp, steaks or lamb chops. The food is cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Make sure to leave room for dessert because they have some really good options, especially the one called “Cloud in the dark”.

The mesquite grill has outstanding flavours. Our service provided by Daniel Perez was exceptional. Daniel was courteous, attentive and excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special dining experience.

Despite making a reservation via OpenTable,driving all the way from Puerto Vallarta, spending 30 minutes at the gate with a famished 7-yr old, St Regis management did not care to let us into the resort grounds for lunch. Worse someone from the restaurant indicated we would be and then proceeded to do nothing. Having long been a customer of St Regis, hard to see why I would be in the future based on this experience.

We have been to this restaurant many times. Tonight was a birthday dinner for a friend. The meals were good but the service was not good at all. This to us was a first because in the past, the service has been exceptional. That won’t stop us from returning but we will be asking for our regular waiter Raul. He is very good. But he wasn’t available in the area where we were seated.

Todo muy bien sólo faltó coordinación entre restaurante y acceso a desarrollo pues los chicos de seguridad no tenían el registro de nuestra reservación y no fue padre el tener que esperar en la calle.

Ambience was fantastic. Our reservation was at 6:30pm and we had the beautiful sunset as our dinner backdrop. I ordered mussels and shrimp which were fantastic and my husband ordered the Mexican chorizo and empanadas recommended by our server and he was on point since me husband cleared his plates.

Stunning setting and amazing service, but Year in and year out the food is just OK and the drinks are absurdly weak and overpriced. We have been here more than a dozen times and this is our experience each time. We come back for the views and the service but wish the food and liquor would improve!

A lovely location with ocean views to spare. Food was nothing special , prices high as you would expect for a St. Regis property. I had a beet salad that was fine and grilled lamb chops that were overcooked, more medium than medium rare. My sons had the catch of the day, Veracruz style. They weren't bowled over by the Mexican rice or the asparagus, or the margaritas.

We generally enjoyed our dinner at Seabreeze. The setting was quite pretty, with nice views of the sunset in the distance. The catch of the day (Mahi) was quite delicious and well-prepared, although the filet mignon was unusually fatty and not the best. We also didn't enjoy that when we arrived, an American football game was playing on the TVs in the adjoining bar and creating an overly loud, raucous environment that made dining at this nice restaurant a bit unpleasant at first. Lastly, we were a bit turned off by how difficult it was to get to dinner here. We were staying at the W nearby, and even though we had a confirmed reservation in advance, with a confirmation on my phone to show at the guardhouse to the Punta Mita complex, we were detained for almost 20 minutes at the gates while trying to determine if we could be let in. This was utterly ridiculous, and I'm not sure if it was the fault of the St. Regis at all, but if there is anything the St. Regis can do to fix this for outside guests, specifically at its sister W Hotel, it should be fixed. We had a much better experience getting into Punta Mita for dinner at the Four Seasons on another night of our trip.

We were disappointed to hear the restaurant was closed on the day of our reservation. Instead, we sat outside at the bar instead. The menu was extremely limited and our choice was basically tacos or a burger. Although I understand that the restaurant closes on particular nights, that should have been noted when I made the reservation. We took a cab from the Four Seasons and would have been happy staying there instead. Very disappointing.

Our group of eight enjoyed the food, wine, and ambiance of this lovely restaurant, but were unfortunately disappointed with the service. Our server, whether acting by himself or at the instructions of the kitchen, drastically delayed taking drink and food orders at the start of our evening. This became quite uncomfortable when he went to great pains to top up our water glasses but wouldn't take cocktail or wine requests until we made a point of stopping him, at which time he just took half our order and walked away. (He got a bottle of wine incorrect too, bringing a chardonnay instead of the Malbec we ordered). Food orders and delivery were also delayed. However once the food started to arrive our experience improved.
