Searcys St Pancras Restaurant and Bar Ratings and Reviews
This is the place we chose for the 70th birthday for my wife. Partly because we were stuck at St Pancras Station (after missing the earlier Eurostar to Paris--a story for another day)and mostly because it was appropriate for the celebration. Tried fish pie which might even have been gluten-free and it was delicious...no crust, just potatoes browned to look like it. Lots of options (morel mushroom risotto, steaks, heirloom tomato salad) to enjoy.
We needed a location near to Euston station for a group get together. This was perfect. Handy as St Pancreas is on so many different tube lines.
It was a Saturday night but very quiet. I imagine it'd be much busier on a week day.
Food was good. Service was good. We would return and recommend.
We were meeting a potential client and wanted somewherwe we could chat in comfort. The tables are well spaced apart and the tables are large, so that worked. More importantly it hasa great and impressive atmosphere, so we think we impressed the client. Food is good, service efficient and all round a great venue
A delightful, relaxing Sunday lunch for my wife's birthday in pleasant surroundings easily accessible from home (by underground). The food was superb, as we always find at Searcy's, and the service excellent, in a quietly professional way, A great afternoon.
I've eaten here in the evenign before, but this was a first for lunchtime. Just as good as ever. We wanted to chat with a buiness colleague and it worked very well - quiet enough to chat with tables big enough to put laptops on. Food always good and lovely setting
The service was excellent, the food was great. The only issue I have is that we wanted the set evening menu but that menu was not given to us, so we had to choose from the main menu, so this increased the overall price of the meal. But saying that, I would recommend this restaurant and am going again in a few weeks.
Sadly the food took 45 minutes to come even though it was booked for 1pm for 4 people at lunchtime. Food was good when eventually it came but as it was a business meeting it didn't give a good impression. I booked it for my boss at my suggestion so a bit disappointed the service was so poor on the day.
Return visits to St Pancras Grand Brasserie are always enjoyable. Menu choices are wide ranging, service is professional and the ambience is relaxed. Stunning interior design and central location make this restaurant a really good venue. My companions and I are never disappointed with St Pancras Grand Brasserie.
Attentive service, and good value 3 course set menu. The portions were somewhat on the small side but the food was consistently tasty and very well presented. The restaurant is tricky to find, being located at the far end of the platform level at the station.
My husband's birthday is also Valentine's day so we go somewhere special. The Grand Brasserie gave excellent and non intrusive service. It felt very French and the food was excellent. My husband had cauliflower soup with truffles, roast pork and a fruit crumble for pudding .I had scallop with black pudding and a poached pear, followed by a fish casserole with rocket and parmesan salad and a huge crème brulee. The food was attractively served and the portion size was good. I had a glass of house champagne followed by some Malbec and then we had coffee. I shall certainly be visiting again!
Searcy's is opposite, one floor up, the entrance to Eurostar, St Pancras International, so it is a very convenient place to meet people coming from different directions.
The Lunch and pre-6.30pm menu is very good value and there are interesting wines on the list. The food is as good as one would hope and the decor rather glamorous and pleasantly spacious. The restaurant is much more than an arriving and setting off point, but may I mention the loos are excellent!
