Disappointing. We ordered a sharing platter which was supposed to contain grilled octopus and no whitebait. What came had one small tentacul of octopus and a quarter of the plate was whitebait. The other items on the plate were also overcooked.
Not our first visit. It's a monthly treat. Super fish beautifully cooked. Very reasonable prices.
A great place to go.

New years eve donne in a Mc Donald’s for a 5 members family with 2 year old child... very thanks for your service and ad Ice to find other solution!!!!
If seafood is what you are looking for, then Seawise is the restaurant for you. Shrimps are exceptional there and the service is great.
It's a chip shop.
Awesome first meal in London. Everything was so fresh.
The oysters could be better
Great food and great service
Thoroughly enjoyable evening before going to The Roundhouse. Would definitely recommend for a quick, tasty meal.
Lovely food, very tasty, and the service was very ,very good! Really recommend!
Outstanding Expirience. Can only recommend. They have never let me down. Always top service & food.
Fantastic food and outstanding service. Really lovely atmosphere in general would definitely recommend a visit and go back!
Went on Saturday lunch for a special occasion. Fantastic tasty food, generous portions with reasonable prices. Friendly staff, excellent customer service and a lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed it well! 👍🏽
Our experience is as follows: it's not an easy place to find which isn't their fault. Took our group of seven awhile to find it. We got there to find picnic tables but then found there was a small inside area. It was almost 90 degrees, too hot to eat in. The host was gracious and asked to give him 15-20 minutes to set up an outside area but before we could decide thisnlatge individual started shouting an obscenity directed at us. The host said that the shouter was their head chef. I asked if he was shouting at us and was assured he wasn't however he continued his loud cursing and included "I hate Americans" so we left. Do with this review what you will. I will never return nor recommend to others.
Great and lovely atmosphere, tasty fish food at affordable price.
I will definitely go again
What a wonderful find! The scallops were some of the best I have ever tasted. Family run and friendly service. Great value for money and right in the middle of Camden Market. We will definitely be back.
Went for a special occasion and wanted something different. The reviews were all spot on - great food with a lot of choice and very friendly staff. It was very popular so it paid off to book beforehand. Not cheap but the cocktails were very good too! Will definitely return when next in Camden.
Me ha encantado Volvería sin pensarlo pienso hacerlo
I love seafood so popped in with a friend. The food was absolutely amazing, the best sea bass I have had in a restaurant. There was music playing and the atmosphere was nice. Only problem was how long the food took to come. The waitress said she did not send our order to the kitchen, so we had to wait around 40 mins for the food. Was offered a free glass of prosecco and the drinks were taken off the bill, but wished she noticed the mistake sooner. Other than that absolutely brilliant restaurant will go there again if in Camden.
The food was sublime. It is obvious that the owners take pride in their food and restaurant. I went with a friend for a catch up and it was great! Had such a good time and can't wait to go back again.
Friendly and quick service, with tasty food from a fun modern take of fish and chips
Very friendly staff and amazing food with great portion sizes
Have a lovely meal here. The food and service exceed our expectations.
Very good value and very fresh well prepared food. Go for the shrimp trio platter.
Delicious oysters! The platters are great!
My wife and I had our Valentine's dinner in this lovely, real and delicious restaurant. Service and food was outstanding.
A really friendly place, small and cosy, amazingly speedy service. This was our second visit but the staff remembered us. The food is really fresh and cooked to perfection. The whitebait was beautifully crisp and very lightly floured so the fish flavour really came through. My prawn and vegetable skewer was delicious and again the prawns cooked just enough so they were meltingly tender, chips were included or grilled vegetables. My husband loved the sticky toffee pudding. With two beers, two glasses of wine and two coffees the bill was just over £60.00 excluding service. So amazing value.
The food in Seawise definitely surprised me, considering its touristy location in the middle of Camden Market.
The seafood was fresh and cooked excellently. Scallops were juicy and sweet, prawns were fresh and full of flavour, and considering the amount of seafood, the value was second to none.
Service was also very friendly and welcoming so have no faults whatsoever to comment on :)
What a welcoming place in the bustle of Camden! Charlotte, our waitress, was brilliant. The atmosphere is so easy and friendly. The restaurant is not huge, so would recommend booking. The seafood fresh and cooked to perfection. Bang bang prawns tasted great, accompanied by fresh salad. Scallops with chorizo and chilli jam - terrific combination that worked well - the scallops were plump, sweet and not overwhelmed by the stronger flavours of chili and chorizo. We then shared the grilled seafood platter with rosemary and parmesan chips. Absolutely scrumptious. What a pleasure. Definitely returning - just wish we lived closer!
This felt like a happy relaxed neighbourhood café. Our meal was good quality and the chef was able to adapt to my diet needs. Service was informal but attentive. We would go again.
Delicious fish = excellent value. Really friendly staff
Loved the family vibe from the owners of the place. They were very kind, and made sure that we felt comfortable. The place is in a historical horse stable and house hospital so you can see how innovative the shops and stores made use of the place. The seafood was excellent andgrilled to perfection. Excellent!
It was not possible to review this restaurant. Wee booked for 8 pm on a Wednesday, Open Table and the restaurant both failed to tel us that on Wednesday they close at 8 pm. So all in all a disaster
The service was fantastic and the food was excellent
This has to be the best fish and chips I have tasted in a very long time, home made chips and the best tartar sauce I have ever had, the batter had just the amount of crispiness wrapped around a tasty fish. The staff were exceptional, no problems whatsoever just a great experience. Will go back.
They lady who served us was very attentive, lovely and we had a great chat. We felt very looked after. We all thought the food was delicious, fresh and well priced! Great place for a friends gathering and would definitely visit again the next time we're in Camden! :)
Great little restaurant hidden in the stables in Camden market - simple seafood, fresh and done well! Would certainly go back - great value and service was excellent - they even ran over the road to buy a cake for our daughters birthday - lovely touch!
Difficult to find a good value meal in London these days but we tried this pre gig at the Roundhouse and had top notch fish and chips and few beers all for less than £20 per head. Found the staff to be very friendly and quick to serve. Went here based on recommendations and was not wrong. Can recommend also.
Great fish & chips (and much more) in an unlikely setting in Camden market. Particularly friendly service and terrific value.
For a first trip to the Camden Lock neighborhood we took TripAdvisor's recommendation of Seawise Restaurant as a midweek dining venue. It was definitely as advertised: very decent fish and chips, grilled and raw oysters, excellent friendly service and great beer! The fine weather allowed us to sit outside and be entertained by the passing crowds.
Camden and Stable Markets are lively and colorful, and if the bazaar atmosphere and tourist pricing doesn't put you off you can have a very enjoyable time. We followed our meal with a walk down the canal, observed the Lock in operation and ended with a stroll through Regents Park.
The restaurant can be a bit tricky to find as there are no directional signs in the Market, but the website is helpful, as are the neighboring vendors. Everyone knows the fish and chips shop!
Having Camden 10 minutes from my home means I usually avoid it at all costs. However I had been to the cinema with a friend so decided to book a place to eat that is in walking distance after the film. Seawise was a perfect place for friends to catch up over a glass of wine and good value for money food. My only down side was I asked where the tuna had been caught and the reply was north atlantic which as most people know means the ocean has been trawled and killed alot more sea creatures than just the tuna.
I opted for the fish and chips....it arrived and hardly fitted on the plate.
Cute little place with really cool staff.
