Sequoia

Sequoia is a good restaurant at an excellent location. I enjoy dining there. The problem this time was that they were not covid ready. There was not enough hand sanitizer or wipes either for guests or employees. They only had a hand sanitizer at the hostess station.

The service was fast, waiter was excellent. He was very attentive, prompt, and sociable.

Service was fast, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. our server was personable and extremely accommodating. We enjoyed the crab cakes, calamari, chowder, ribeye steak, and fried rice with shrimp. We also enjoyed the pomegranate mojitos as well. The staff was double masked, reservations were six feet apart, and everyone was careful. Truly a well managed establishment. Perfect place for dinner.

Very safe with temp taken upon arrival table occupancy spaced and servers with masks. Always enjoyed my visits this was no exception with fantastic food service and views!

Fantastic food and even better service. Wasn’t able to experience the buffet due to Covid but I still recommend for brunch!

One of my all time favorite places to dine. I have been dining here for probably 10-15 years now. No matter who the management is.....this place is always top notch.

Our dining experience was amazing. We absolutely loved our waitress Fon. The services was incredible. The manager I believe was also very helpful in informing us of our whiskey options

The service was very good. The hostess graciously accommodated our party of 4, recognizing I had made our reservation for a different day, by mistake. The waitress checked in on us often. The food was fairly good, although the Valentine's Day was limited. The ambience is the only thing that really needs fine-tuning. The Sequoia used to be a swank, sophisticated place. Now, it felt like a TGI Fridays, except with contemporary furniture. I recognize that the restaurant is under new management, but it would get more of my business if it brought back the sophistical ambience (including the jazz music).

Hostess to wait staff were all extremely friendly. Will definitely go back.

Beautiful valentine brunch

Service, atmosphere, the waitresses ALL was very amazing. We love this place. But the amount of food we got for $150 was disappointing. It was very little and not good. We come there for all special occasions such as Father’s Day, valentines, and so on . But this last time was not so great

It was Valentine's weekend so there was a special menu. It was okay but not the usual.

Perfect Valentine’s Day dinner. The dinner presentation was exquisite. The recommended wine pairing for the course may need some improvement but loved the entire selection of the courses.

First of course I must say the view was amazing! The service was outstanding! I had a crab cake sandwich and a salad, it was delicious! The creme brûlée was just an ok, will skip it next time. Overall experience was lovely and I’m looking forward to go back!

It was good, the food was very good. A little pricey. Service wasn't bad at all but I did not get seated per my request in my reservation. Also, it was a special occasion and also was not acknowledged , which is fine but then don't ask about it diring reservations intakei do think that the furniture is a little cheap looking for a nice fancy restaurant. Look at Blackwall Hitch in Alexandria for reference.

Sequoia's was absolutely amazing. Michelle the Manager ensured my birthday was exceptional. The food, service, and ambiance was stellar. I cannot wait to return!

SEQUOIA never fails! I have lived in NYC for the past 10years and I came home to take the woman in the family out for brunch, I'm happy I did! Great service, amazing food, and thoughtful decor and ambiance! I'll definitely return!!

A really nice place to go to for a one on one setting or a group.

Sequoia is not a cheap date. But even during COVID-19, it’s well worth the $$$. The food is delicious, the drinks are perfection, the service is on point. They’re handling the covid precautions like champs. We ate dinner outside and were cozy with the warm cocktails and space heaters.

It was great experience unfortunately due to no dine-in the weather was cold for outside seating and the hear didn't do much, but the food and the service were outstanding. I will definitely go back and when the weather is warmer or when I can dine-in.

We were very pleased with the winter outdoor dining experience at Sequoia. It is truly open air (no "COVID Cabanas" here), so you are exposed to the breeze and any precipitation. Tables are spaced appropriately (6+ feet between seated guests). There are propane heaters between the tables. It was warm enough that afternoon / we dressed warmly enough that we didn't ask to have ours turned on. The staff were all very welcoming and working hard.

I came to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it was amazing..they gave a nice cake and sparkle for her. It was by the water it was just wonderful would recommend for anyone looking for a good brunch and mimosos with good service

Great food and outdoor seating!

Ate outside in 38 degree weather...managed well with heat lamps.

We visited Sequoia for my wife birthday on a Saturday for brunch. They were able to create a safe environment outside with space heaters and fire pits. Upon arrival we learned about their contact tracing and really appreciated how serious they were treating the virus. The service and food was phenomenal and I would highly recommend Sequoia!

Great bottomless brunch spot, would definitely come back!
