Dining at Sequoia is always something my group looks forward to. Rachel kept the drinks flowing and she was such an amazing waitress. We appreciated her attention and care.

The selection and quality of food offering was exceptional. Be prepared, it is quite expensive and very loud. Nonetheless, it is well worth the money for the experience.

This place is soooooo overrated. Who wants to sit in a dining area upstairs when buffet is being served downstairs. You have to go down stairs and get your food and by the time you get back to your seat your food is cold. The crab legs were horrible. Very small and very cold. I can't understand why they don't steam and season the crab legs. When I called to confirm if the crab legs were going to be served hot, I receive a yes response. Unfortunately that's not true. The crab cakes were ok but the wait time was too long. Wait time for omelets were too long.

Then the servers act like that get tired running for drinks when they're getting their tips up front.

The frozen Bellini isn't frozen because they tell you it's too many people and the machine can't handle all these people.

They can do better. I gave it a two just being nice. I should give a one star.

I went to Sequoia’s for my birthday and it was great. I’ve been before & never had complaints but this time was spectacular. It’s like they slightly updated their menu & change some things around inside the food area. Selection of desserts always bomb!

Food was good, but nothing really special. Nice selection. Servers attentive and polite. Morning sun coming through windows caused cheese and meat offerings to harden but they were not changed out. I think $70 per person is way over priced. I’ve had nicer experiences.

Disappointing missing view of the Potomac river, since the brunch is held in a backroom instead of the luxurious advertised main room.

We frequent Sequoia, and are usually very pleased with the experience. The service during this most recent trip could have been a lot better, but the food and ambiance were enjoyable.

What an AMAZING Birthday Brunch!! Sequoia has really outdone themselves...must be under new management...I'm so glad our table was upstairs...it was beautiful to look out on the water. The bottomless offerings and food was amazing...I think the desserts could have been better, but all in all this was one of the best brunches I've been too in a very long time ... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Thank you for the experience,
Ms. Brown
