Amazing food and good service. Our last dish came in super late (although service team apologized for it).
The DJ & the guy beating the drums were outstanding!
Excellent as always
It was brilliant as usual. It’s definitely our favourite lunch spot on a Friday.
See you in 4 weeks
When we arrived the table was not ready. There were no seats at the bar and it was very difficult to get the barman’s attention for a drink. All a bit humiliating really!
Table was twenty minutes late. Food was great. For the prices the service is bad. Could not catch a waiters eye, they deliberately don’t make eye contact. Waited 20 mins for a second drink to the table. All very shoddy.
Trendy, great DJ, good food! Definitely going again!
Not our cup of tea for a relaxing Sunday lunchtime. Food was lovely. Service OK. Price reasonable for Berkley Square. Great decor, loved the waterfall windows! DJ and Saxophone playing was nice bit too loud, felt like a Saturday night club. Waitress reluctant/ a challenge to change food for allergy, instead had to pick separate dish entirely. All in all, glad we went, won't come again but great for guests that like that sort of atmosphere.
Always a fun place to eat with great food and service. The vibe was great with the Sax & drums.... a great way to spend Sunday afternoon :-)
The service was exceptional. There was live music which was really upbeat and in tone with the restaurant. The food was also really nice.
Great atmosphere as always
Simply great in every detail.
Lovely time out with friends
The restaurant with the most vibrant and electrifying experience. You guys are tge best.
The food is gorgeous however that’s the only plus. The music is far too loud for a restaurant you can’t hold a conversation. The service we received was very poor, we ordered drinks that were forgotten, we ordered again and they were wrong so after 40minutes we called it a night and got the bill. Certainly wouldn’t go again and definitely not worth the money.
I had the best time everrrrr at Sexy Fish. The only negative is the music was a little too loud. I wanted to come to dinner and chat with my sister but this didn’t happen it was a struggle to hear each other talk.
Other than that I had such a lovely time. Thanks for having us. I will be back. Xx
Read mixed reviews about this place but it was my first time here and it was absolutely amazing! All the staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. Special shout-out to our waiter Gi who was constantly checking up on us. The ambience was 10/10- the music is pretty loud but great for those wanting that type of vibe! Would highly recommend and will definitely come back in the future.
Great drinks, great service, and food was delicious. We have eaten at a number of Mayfair restaurants and this was definitely the best to date.
Service was amazing!! the food was tasty and the atmosphere was great with live music. Highly recommended
Always uplifting here. Super service , a great recommendation for the duck salad , great wine .. oh and I love the bathrooms .
We ordered the premium tasting menu that consisted of around 10 courses. The food was delicious and was coming out efficiently. Before our dessert arrived one of the management came over to say that we were already 20 minutes over the time allocation for our table. He acted as though he was doing me a favour giving me an additional 10 minutes. We still hadn’t been served our dessert. The end of the meal was ruined by feeling we were being rushed. When we asked for the bill it appeared immediately and so did the card machine - we paid almost £500 yet were almost ushered from our table to enable them to serve the next customers. This was a set tasting menu with 10 courses and the usual rhythm of this dining format. We were 35 minutes over the 2 hour slot. I dont know how anybody could eat the meal in that time.
Very nice environment. Great music and good food!
Amazing experience …. Tasting menu is a must for any special occasion and definitely worth indulging in.
I have been to sexy fish many times and everything is always amazing. Great food, great service and great vibe!
Beautiful food excellent vibe just ppl at the bar a frigging nuisance
Wonderful food, great service but the music was a bit too loud! #oldlady lol I’d still recommend- it was lovely. The yellowtail and black cod were standout
Our waiter was extremely rude and getting our table waited was a task
Service and Ambiance was amazing only downfall was the rude woman at the front judging me and my guests for no reason and even her manager had to correct her for her faults, which put us off the whole experience.
This place has the best food and amazing staff in London. If you like Asian cuisine and like to try the best ingredients cooked by celebrated chefs served by the most kind and lovely staff this is the place to go. And as a bonus and to complement the experience the restaurant (normally) has a DJ or some other musical entertainment.
Food was too small
My boyfriend and I had our second anniversary dinner at Sexy Fish over the bank holiday weekend and really enjoyed it. We were a little bit late (almost 15 minutes) but the staff very accommodating and made our visit very enjoyable.
We were seated not far from the entry to the restaurant and below the DJ booth, the restaurant was very well staffed and very lively. Our waiter explained that the majority of the menu was catered to sharing so we picked five or six dishes to share. I have to say both the food and the service was exquisite.
We ordered the salt and pepper squid (starters) the kimchi rice with duck, prawn gyoza, beef tenderloin, caramelised mushroom with spinach and the lobster tempura. I was slightly apprehensive about the kimchi as I had some recently at Ivy Asia St Paul's and wasn't a massive fan but we thoroughly enjoyed all of our meal here. We will definitely be returning.
Only downside (for us) is that its very noisy. The atmosphere is great and we had s fantastic view of the live percussionist and brass but its not the best environment for conversation. Felt a it like a club at times. Also the portion size for the lobster tempura was a bit disappointing. Given its around £35 I don't think there was more than five pieces of lobster in it.
Other than that, we had a fantastic time.
The food was fabulous absolutely gorgeous can't wait to go in two weeks time.
A grat place, delicious food and excellent service
Amazing service and great atmosphere 🥂
Eric looked after us and he was so lovely
Approached the restaurant for a table, awfully patronising staff member at the door looked us up and down, asked if we have a reservation, we said no (we hadn’t yet booked on Open Table) he went to check availability and came back to say they were busy, we then booked the restaurant on Open Table and made it in. All very over hyped bad attitude from the door all the way in, i assume the staff are told they are something special but looking down on your clients is so not cool, especially when you’re remarkably average.
Great staff and service. Fir a top notch top dollar restaurant, the food must be better
Always a great experience at Sexy fish… Food wasn’t as great as it usually is, food was not hot by the time we received it. Great service from the staff and drinks were amazing.
The Lebanese doorman is a reason not to come
We came here for my husband's 40th birthday, and while it was a good meal, and the service was impeccable, it didn't live up to the expectations I had, or the price point.
Sexy Fish is part of the Caprice Holdings Group, who also own They Ivy Asia, Harry's Dolce Vita, Scott's etc, and the food at these other restaurants is much better, in my opinion. Specifically when comparing Asian fusion cuisine, Sexy Fish has nothing on the Ivy Asia, where the food is incredible, and half the price.
If you are happy to pay £86 for a bottle of Miraval, and £65 for sea bream, then absolutely go, but don't expect incredible food - it is very Instagram-able, and very much a place to be seen, and that is what you're paying for.
Excellent atmosphere great food and great service
