The only Indian restaurant to visit in the area. Whilst the ‘normal’ curries are good the special dishes are fantastic and really different.
Went there for my husband’s birthday. Lovely meal and great service! Are already planning the next meal there once the new lockdown is over!
Food was good but expensive and service charge requested was more than the standard 10% even though we were only a table of two.
Amazing food, Amazing customer service and there was a few families eating at the restaurant but it wasn't noisy at all. The best lamb biryani I have had.
It was a Mid-Covid meal with only 3 of us. Restaurant was more than on top of things on that front and it was very clean.
Difficult to fault in all honesty. We only had mains with some sides but if nobody was looking we would have been licking the plates clean. Compared to some Indian restaurants you could probably eat a little cheaper but it was only a lot bit and for sure you get what you are paying for and then some. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and recommend.
Amazing food, did have fire alarm go off during our meal. One of diners got chewing gum on clothes from under the table which was a bit unpleasant. But overall great food - slightly expensive but good for special occasion meals.
Friendly staff, quick service, excellent range and quality of food.
Excellent food and service, as always.
Extensive food and drinks menu.
A bit empty but good food and attentive service. Not cheap but good value
Lovely service
Beautiful food will definitely be visiting again
Delicious food, clean, spacious restaurant , good menu
Always well greeted and with good food and service to follow.
The food was very nice but on arrival we were asked to wait for our table, we waited and were then seated at a table that had been free when we arrived. When we sat down I had to ask the waiter to clean the table as there were splashed of food on the table, cloth and a glass that was already on the table. Given the current times I didn’t expect to have to ask for my table to be cleaned, it should have been cleaned thoroughly between customers.
Overall good service and I will be going back, also recommend to others
Really good food and staff are excellent. Highly recommended
Felt rushed as only allowed table for an 1 hour and 45 mins but next couple arrived early and we felt uncomfortable keeping them waiting.
I wondered why waiters were watching us eating and wanted to take plates away before we had finished.
Expensive side orders we didn’t need so much rice either that we ordered. Nit advised
Our guests love curries and compared what they'd ordered to the same dishes elsewhere - and declared them to be the best they'd ever had! The meal was well up to Shampan's usual excellent standard and the cleanliness, service and care was reassuring in these times.
Was the best curry I’ve ever had!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Delicious food, great service. Took friends from hometown to experience really great Indian food
Loved it. We had a fantastic family meal that everyone enjoyed. My wife and I had equally outstanding cocktails, highly recommended!
As always the food was Delish! The best Indian in the area.
As always a very pleasurable experience at Shampan Bromley
One of the best curries we’ve had in a while, really attentive staff and a lovely setting!
Really nice meal at Shampan Bromley on Saturday evening. The bill took along time to sort out as I had a voucher to use but it got sorted in the end!
Great food with good service at reasonable prices. A nice environment.
Amazing food, service and environment. Very friendly and helpful staff.
£15.50 for a main course that included just 3 prawns. Cocktail upon arrival out of a sachet made with flat coke. Seems like they are cutting corners to make savings which is a shame as probably won't choose to go back anytime soon.
I guess wearing masks is difficult for waiting staff, but surely a smile and a welcome and thanks is still possible?!
My whole dining experience was not good. My meal was absolutely horrible. The la.b was overcooked and the whole dish tasted of burnt onions
Great food and service. The Shampan never disappoints.
We ordered the 2 veggie main options and they were both amazing. The restaurant was very clean and the service was very quick.
Food lovely - service not up to standards. Especially when there is a 12.5% service charge and an extra £10 for it just being Valentine’s Day. Would expect better service if I have to pay more for that
Fantastic as always - can’t beat Shampan
The waiter could have been a bit more assertive. The bread was really late Coming out and to be honest it was really expensive. It is our local and we do go there a lot but I think the prices have just got too high
We had the Sunday buffet so whilst the food was lovely it wasn't the curry choices we would have had. But the choice and quality was very good. We will come back to try the a la carte menu for sure. It's a lovely restaurant and the staff very professional and friendly.
Eaten here a few times but having spoken with Razan he made a few excellent food choices for us to try.
Will be returning again soon.
Food was okay, I've had better but have also certainly had worse. The chicken tikka starter was very tender and our mains of korma and biryani pleasant enough but the portions were small and I asked for refills on our chutneys and popadoms a couple of times and then got charged for 3 whole lots, despite only one chutney being refilled etc. Also, really felt rushed as they had obviously re-booked the table. Waiters hovered constantly throughout our meal. Money obviously means more than the diners experience here. Overall the food was okay but just not worth the money for me and coupled with the lack of atmosphere due to feeling rushed, I won't be returning.
The overall service was poor. Had a table booked for 5.30pm and before I even arrived someone had called me to confirm my booking and asked what time I would be leaving. They then advised me that if I didn't leave by 8pm there would be a £10 charge per person.
When I finally arrived, everything was rushed as if they were trying to rush me out the door. Had a minute to look at the drinks menu and food menu before being hassled to order.
Whilst eating, servers were taking plates even though I had asked them to wait until we had finished eating.
Had a cocktail for dessert and servers were removing table cloths and asking if I wanted the bill.
The food was nice and had no complaints.
Excellent food and the staff was very friendly and helpful
