   Thank you for the wonderful Easter dinner you cooked for my family. Our waiter was terrific (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name). The food was delicious and my husband loved the Easter ham dinner for the special.

   We had a reservation for the oyster bar area which is where we wanted to sit. Upon checking in the hosts tried to seat us in the dining room. We told them our reservation was for the oyster bar side. Despite showing the hosts the email confirmation saying we had bar seating reserved they did not honor our reservation and told us it was full in the oyster bar and that the restaurant switched our reservation to the dining room. I received no notification of, and did not approve of, our reservation being switched to the dining room. We made the reservation for the oyster bar for a reason and then had to eat our meal in an ambiance we did not want. Extremely disappointing for a very expensive special occasion meal. Being that Shaw’s is a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant and has a high priced menu I expect better. Also some prices are not right on the Open Table menu and are higher on the menu. In addition, some items listed on the Open Table menu are not actually available at the restaurant.

   The Fisherman's platter (Friday special) was excellent! A couple of large shrimp, some calamari, and cod along with the fries. My wife's Halibut was very good but more fish for the $$ would have been nice. Our drinks (Blackberry Smash and Kalua) were prepared well. My ice cream birthday desert was great.

   Poor service, food was over priced & menu is limited. Shouldn’t have “crab house” in name when you only have 1 crab option

   Very disappointed in the twin 4 ounce lobster tails. No taste, flat, served cool and tiny. They should not offer these on their menu. The mussel appetizer was delicious and the creamy sauce was very tasty. Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly. Tender, flavorful and crisp around the edges. My husband ordered the scallops. Very expensive and the scallops were tiny. He was not happy. This is the second time we have not been happy with our meal, however we have eaten at Shaws countless times and it’s usually excellent.

   Had a very nice dinner with family. Asked for a quiet location because we wanted to be able to hear each other’s conversation. Our booth was perfect. Dean, our server, was the best. Explained the menu and specials, was knowledgeable about our wine and drink selections and was very attentive even though the restaurant was busy.
