The traditional arches and Mughal paintings of this newly renovated dimly-lit eatery add a further touch of warmth to the contemporary furnishings and create a combination of refreshing and comfortable surroundings and reminds of cultural ties with Indo-Pakistan. The background music of traditional Indian classics adds a refined yet energizing romantic touch to the food we serve to our valued customers.

Outstanding food! Thank you Tariq for perfect service as always!
Great food, service and atmosphere. There was actually an offer on so the food worked out to be even more reasonable. Loved it.
Went to Shezan with a friend. First thing we noticed was a picture right next to our table - parts of it were torn and had been put together with tape. Badly. That should've been the giveaway - what kind of management thinks it's ok to tape together a picture that has been torn apart? Surprisingly, it was even further downhill from there...we got our chicken starter only to realise it was raw at the centre. Basic cooking 101. There were very few other people in the restaurant so not like they were too busy to get this right. Food was heavy, too spicy and just not good. This is not good restaurant. Needs an overhaul.
We chose this historic Indian restaurant, which we didn't know, mainly for the proximity to Knightsbridge.
We were surprised by the beautiful welcoming décor and the fact that it is located off the high street.
Food was amazing and there is a good selection of cocktails, wine and beers.
The service was attentive and, as usual in an Indian, never over the top!
The only downside was that it was really quiet and we could not figure out why.....
Thank you Shezan for a lovely night, we will be back soon!
Lovely food and great service. Shocked at the price of two Bellinis £36!!!
Wonderful, exquisitely spiced and prepared food, impeccable service, pleasing atmosphere. We had a delightful evening!
Great service and food. Would definitely recommend
Always enjoyable, although the chicken was a bit dry and the meal not quite as tasty as usual, except for the kulfi which was splendid,
Horrible attitude by the waiter. Never experianced such in any. Horrible food.
It's the 2nd time I go to this restaurant. The decor is really nice. The food very good -a bit on the expensive side for an Indian though. My main and only issue is that the service is not brilliant. Last time, they spilt the quantity of a glass of wine on the table and did not offer to replace the content. This time, they were a bit amateurish again. It is an interesting place though, if you are happy to put up with a bit less than average service for the price you pay.
This was a great location for a family birthday. They accommodated our party well.
With special offer pricing it was good value. The décor was very different and worked well.
Food was cold, they could at least have microwaved it! The rice was clearly from the day before. The lamb was also cold, not even a bit warm
Food handling could be better. I saw a waiter was transferring a food by hand from other plate before serving it to a customer!
love it. will go again.. food is amazing and the setting is lovely

Fabulous service and incredible food as always. I love it here!
Really lovely restaurant, amazing atmosphere, very attentive staff and the food was great too.
Très bon accueil et service
We went there for my husbands birthday and the ambience was great. Live music was perfect and the singer even sung a personal song for his birthday and made it very special. The restaurant decor is very traditional feel.
Highly recommend this place
The restaurant was well decorated. We were a large party, but they were not very full. It took a very long time to order drinks and then to order our food. There seemed to be only one person taking orders. The food was good, but VERY spicy. In addition, it took a while to get our food, which didn't help the mood. Overall, this place has potential, but the execution needs some improvements.
What an Aladdin Cave once inside. Very nice interior and food was both excellent and very filling. Only downside was only two of us dining but the waiter said it’s very busy in the evening
Went to eat with a group of 15. There were two members of staff, the more senior member was kind and generally helpful, however our order was taken by a very rude elderly gentleman that seemed to have no understanding of how to properly wait tables. He was extremely pushy and impatient, had no good knowledge of the menu, and smirked when I ordered less than he told me to order. For some reason he wanted me to order everything at once which just doesnt work wih a large group. Overall very dissatisfied and unhappy with what was meant to be a celebratory occasion. Chef was somewhat good as food was generally tasty and well cooked although some kebabs were cold. I could see this restaurant being ok for a small part of 1-4 people but I would advise larger groups to stay away you will have much better service in any cheap indian/pakistani restaurant.
Good food but service left much to be desired. Drinks orders brought one at a time, martini served in margarita glass and margarita in martini glass. The check took ages to be delivered, I was expecting rather better for the price. That said the food was indeed good, but we over-ordered and probably server could have helped us in that regard
Absolutely brilliant in every respect - lamb shank "to live for" - my wife loved the delicious vegetarian options
The special signature dishes on the menu are excellent. Reserved through open table and got a 50% off food promotion, honoured simply and easily at the time of printing the bill. Very good service and excellent decor, atmosphere and authentic Indian cuisine.
Had a great experience
Food was delicious and had a good time...
A good restaurant, which is lacking TLC. The exterior needs work, the interiors are dated and the menu is a bit outlandish. The only positive is that it offers a 50% off routinely so the cost is low. For a high quality restaurant, one would want more.
We have always visited Shezan over the years but the experience and quality of food and attitude of waiters is extremely poor and definitely not worth the price. I am very disappointed as me and my family would love to dine here but our last experience has changed our views on visiting again. We were fasting, and the food came 45 minutes after our fast opened and the meat was raw and the drinks were terrible. On top of everything, the service has gone down and the previous good service they had was what brought us back. Don't usually leave reviews at all but thought it's important as Shezan was one of only favourite restaurants and they're in need of change to keep up with other amazing restaurants out there in London.
Lovely food and great environment hidden away in centre of London.
Very reasonable with the 50% discount.
Staff very accommodating to last minute changes
The Location of this restaurant is good, being in the heart of Knightsbridge. However, considering that it is expensive for an Indian restaurant, the service was a bit sloppy: the waiter knocked the wine onto the floor with no offer of replacing or compensation for the amount that did go on the floor. The other waiter knocked a lot of rice on the table whilst serving. They did not apply the discount that I booked when we received the bill. I had to remind them.
On a more positive note, the food was good but I wish I had to to my local Indian in Fulham. The bill, despite the discount, came to £70. I would have paid for similar food around £50 in Fulham, without any discount. Not worth the money, unless you absolutely need to be in that area.
A stunning hidden gem - beautiful decor, great service and wonderful food. An absolute pleasure.
What a wonderful experience. Great service and tasty food!
Altogether, we had an enjoyable evening at this basement restaurant. The service was friendly. Not totally convinced of the food in terms of taste and the presentation of it. Very sterile looking white dishes, a little bit like in a canteen. The good thing is that tables are relatively spacious.
Birthday meal and was excellent service and food.
We've been looking for an Indian restaurant in our area and decided to try Shezan.
It's tucked away off Brompton Rd near Harrods. Cozy place with some unusual decor.
Very nice menu and we chose several different dishes. All were very good and service was
excellent. We'll be sure to dine at Shezan again.
Got on the 50% off food deal which made the price reasonable. Fantastic food in a great setting, would defiantly go again and highly recommend!
What can u say, 5 star for everything says it all. The best Indian place I have been to in the UK. It doesn't do your typical Korma and tikka masala so it won't be for the ones who are not daring and look for authenticity. Staff are lovely and half price for main courses.
Tasty food and good service - value for money with offer
Excellent ambiance, service and value for money with the 50% discount. Would go again!
