Friendly and wonderful service. Food was excellent.
Every time we visit this restaurant the service is always first class and nice to see a restaurant which is ran by a couple who are obviously dedicated to their profession. Lovely little place where you can watch your food being cooked and with an ever changing menu always keeps things interesting.
Had a fantastic St. Valentine's Feast at Sinabro, with their taster menu and wine pairing. The restaurant is very small and if you are sat in the front you can watch the chef preparing all your meals which is fantastic. The food was incredibly tasty and we both loved every 1 of the 6 courses on offer.
My only gripes were the slightly inflated prices for it being Valentine's night but the service was fantastic and the team made it a very special night for us both.
Good food which was interesting as well as delicious.
Such a gem in Clapham/Battersea. Me and my partner had the tasting menu with wines. The food was exquisite - so clever. The wines were a great match.
Only downside is it was a Tuesday during Christmas and wasn’t busy inside at all so bit quiet and service was a little rushed. Would have liked a bit more atmosphere for £100 per head.
Sinabro is lovely, can't really fathom why we haven't discovered it before - perhaps because it's tucked in and pretty low key. It's got some nice decor, and cosy seating either at tables or the bar.
We had the tasting menu, which was great - excellent, home made bread and smoky butter in the beginning. Starters and mains that followed were seasonal, and finished to an exceptional standard. Just when I thought they couldn't top it, the dessert arrived.
This is a small restaurant with an unusual layout - most of the seating is at a bar directly in front of the chef preparing the food. The three members of staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was exciting, and I felt very sorry for them that it was not full. I am sure that it would be if it were in a more central location.
The cooking at Sinabro never fails to impress; we brought friends and never doubted they would love it. Total success. Looking forward to the next occasion.
Delicious food and very friendly service
Sinabro its a great restaurant for having a date or for a special occasion. The elaboration and quality of the food it is just amazing, as well as the wine selection. I recommend it for anyone wanting to go to a high-end restaurant with a good value for money.
The restaurant concept is interested - well produced limited menu. It was mid week so quite quiet and while interesting we did not find the menu outstanding. Overall this is a good place to try, and is different from the other local restaurants.
We booked at Sinabro following the outstanding OpenTable reviews it has received.
It is worth commenting on the set-up: Much of the seating is at a bar that surrounds the kitchen, so you watch your food being prepared - exciting and interesting. You are offered a 'Tasting Menu', or else a la carte (choice of 2 or 3 courses). There are only two starters, two mains and two deserts on the menu and the tasting menu essentially offers you both starters and mains, and one desert. There is an affordable wine list or else a set menu of wines to accompany the tasting menu.
The food is excellent. We especially loved the lamb and the bass. The onion soup was most original in terms of presentation and tasted wonderful - even for my partner who really doesn't like onions! The honeycomb in the pudding was also a real treat,
Wine is affordable - a pleasant surprise for a restaurant of this standard.
Great neighborhood find with excellent food and attentive service.
Super service and the food was very good.
Really good food. A small menu, but what they do, they do well. Really good service. We all enjoyed and would go again.
Sinabro is small, but perfectly formed. The five-course tasting menu (the only option on a Friday night) was beautifully cooked, looked and smelled wonderful and was attentively served by our host. Particular highlights were a gazpacho with onion confit and the beef onglet. A great night. I can highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Michelin star food in a casual atmosphere. Talented chef cooks in front of you subtle and refined dishes. Must go.
It was the best tasting menu we have had in a while, with clean elegantly executed dishes from the bread to the 64^ egg to the fish and pig mains. We brought our 2 year old and while it would have been more ideal as a date night the staff was very accommodating and great with her.
Delicious tasting menu in a cosy restaurant - all courses were lovely and left feeling full and content
Another lovely evening at Sinabro. Amazing tasting menu at a reasonable price. Suckling pig exceeded my expectations!
Our wedding anniversary!
The food was just outstanding. Every course was so well put together. We sat at the bar/table watching the chef at work -which was truly a master at work. A rare treat and it felt like it. Pea Ravioli with Parmesan foam and the Hake were the highlights for me - although i finished every plate off which on a fixed set menu is a rare feat. Just go.
This place is fantastic. Very high end food. Not cheap but it's worth it. Deserving of a michelin star I think. However their chairs are very very uncomfortable. If they sorted out their chairs, this place would be virtually perfect.
I had the set menu of 3 courses with tomato salad, guinea fowl and chocolate mousse last Wednesday. As my first experience was just superb, I booked again to try the extremely well-priced tasting menu. This time the menu was changed - the green peas ravioli was incredibly fresh and tasty. The small surprises the chef was serving before and between meals was a nice surprise and very thoughtful. The wine list also reasonably priced and we could try most of fine French wines with under £40. The service was absolutely exemplary - charming, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my two visits here and can't wait to go back to try the chef's new tasting menu with wonderful wines.
Superb food! Excellent service! Definitely would comeback. :)
My partner and I dined last Saturday evening and enjoyed an amazing experience. We had the tasting menu with accompanying fine wines and enjoyed every single dish! It was my third visit and even better than I remember.
The food was phenomenal, innovative, beautiful and excellent value! For me, a guinea fowl stood out, full of flavour. The service and atmosphere make this a truly special restaurant. I'm really happy with their simple new menu and no doubt it will make this tiny local restaurant even more stands out. All in all it was another memorable meal and we would definitely return soon.
Always amazing, food is excellent and the owners are humble and professional. It was a very good time with quality.
The restaurant was lovely and service pleasant.
I'm not knocking the food but it didn't really have the spark you would expect for the price paid.
£59 for taster menu followed by an additional £39 with the matching wine. For the amount given it may have been better to go for a few bottles over the recommended glasses.
Service was good but all came a bit fast not really allowing for time to enjoy the courses or the wine. On several occasions an attempt was made to take away glasses the still had wine in them.
I would love to see a business like this do well but I think a few minor changes to the menu, price and service would benefit Sinabro.
Very sorry to say but Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations.
Varied exciting menu and friendly welcoming service. Let down a little by the ambience, we were the only people in there for an hour but it was a Tuesday and later in the week and the weekend is much busier.
Hidden local gem! Don't make the mistake I did, and believe a word of the Fay Maschler review of this place. Pretty much everything about it is wrong!
We had great service, and the best seat in the house overlooking the kitchen.
We had the tasting menu which was both innovative and generous, and the matched wines were excellent.
Our only regret is that it took us so long to find Sinabro, but we will definitely be back!
I cannot believe that it has taken me so long to find this gem of a restaurant. We had the tasting menu and it was delicious, well thought out, lots of wonderful flavours. Beautifully presented. Excellent service and can't wait to return.
My wife and I had an excellent meal at Sinabro, served with grace and efficiency. The menu is short and imaginative. The wines by the glass we selected were very good (there are some interesting wines from the Loire Valley). The cod we had as a main dish was beautifully cooked and served, the accompanying vegetables and sauce being particularly subtle. We will undoubtedly go back. The meal was not cheap, but we did feel it was good value for money.
We had the tasting menu to celebrate my partner's birthday. We both agreed it was the best meal we had in London. What a great value for the michelin quality foods! Just amazing. I do not want to pay for the meal I can make and these guys are serious. We were surprised by fresh baked bread, smoky butter and kale pesto. Sticky pig's trotters croqutte was remarkable, following dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, full of flavours. Wine matching (includes apperitif kir royal) was also wonderful . Highly recommend.
A little piece of France in Clapham! Would have been 5 stars all round but for the fact that we were the only ones there and my lamb was a little rarer than I like.
Good new place to try!!
Very friendly and warm welcome. The tasting menu was great and had a wide variety of dishes and were very helpful when my wife asked to changed a few dishes she knew that she wouldn't like. Would visit again today.
Never disappointed by Sinabro - really great food, quality ingredients, nice atmosphere and the lady running the restaurant is really kind and service always great!
Food is outstanding but chairs are very uncomfortable!
It's often hard to get noticed as a good independent restaurant in a area flooded with chains but Sinabro was a great recommendation from a friend. A really slick operation in the open kitchen you can view from the bar seating, not the most comfortable but great for a date! A good workout for the tastebuds, the menu is relatively small but they clearly concentrate on getting it right and the food speaks for itself.
Amazing food and wonderful service! We were the only people there which was a shame but still a lovely ambience. More people need to go!!
Admittedly, the food was excellent; however, our experience was marked by how slow the tasting menu was served and general poor service.
The table next to us was seated an hour later and yet they somehow caught up to us and we were eventually dining on the same course.
My recommendation: don't dine here if you're exceptionally hungry and bring a book.
