Such a gem in Clapham/Battersea. Me and my partner had the tasting menu with wines. The food was exquisite - so clever. The wines were a great match.
Only downside is it was a Tuesday during Christmas and wasn’t busy inside at all so bit quiet and service was a little rushed. Would have liked a bit more atmosphere for £100 per head.
Sinabro is lovely, can't really fathom why we haven't discovered it before - perhaps because it's tucked in and pretty low key. It's got some nice decor, and cosy seating either at tables or the bar.
We had the tasting menu, which was great - excellent, home made bread and smoky butter in the beginning. Starters and mains that followed were seasonal, and finished to an exceptional standard. Just when I thought they couldn't top it, the dessert arrived.
This is a small restaurant with an unusual layout - most of the seating is at a bar directly in front of the chef preparing the food. The three members of staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was exciting, and I felt very sorry for them that it was not full. I am sure that it would be if it were in a more central location.
The cooking at Sinabro never fails to impress; we brought friends and never doubted they would love it. Total success. Looking forward to the next occasion.
Delicious food and very friendly service
Sinabro its a great restaurant for having a date or for a special occasion. The elaboration and quality of the food it is just amazing, as well as the wine selection. I recommend it for anyone wanting to go to a high-end restaurant with a good value for money.
We booked at Sinabro following the outstanding OpenTable reviews it has received.
It is worth commenting on the set-up: Much of the seating is at a bar that surrounds the kitchen, so you watch your food being prepared - exciting and interesting. You are offered a 'Tasting Menu', or else a la carte (choice of 2 or 3 courses). There are only two starters, two mains and two deserts on the menu and the tasting menu essentially offers you both starters and mains, and one desert. There is an affordable wine list or else a set menu of wines to accompany the tasting menu.
The food is excellent. We especially loved the lamb and the bass. The onion soup was most original in terms of presentation and tasted wonderful - even for my partner who really doesn't like onions! The honeycomb in the pudding was also a real treat,
Wine is affordable - a pleasant surprise for a restaurant of this standard.
Great neighborhood find with excellent food and attentive service.
Super service and the food was very good.
Really good food. A small menu, but what they do, they do well. Really good service. We all enjoyed and would go again.
