Sinabro Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Sinabro its a great restaurant for having a date or for a special occasion. The elaboration and quality of the food it is just amazing, as well as the wine selection. I recommend it for anyone wanting to go to a high-end restaurant with a good value for money.
It was the best tasting menu we have had in a while, with clean elegantly executed dishes from the bread to the 64^ egg to the fish and pig mains. We brought our 2 year old and while it would have been more ideal as a date night the staff was very accommodating and great with her.
The food was just outstanding. Every course was so well put together. We sat at the bar/table watching the chef at work -which was truly a master at work. A rare treat and it felt like it. Pea Ravioli with Parmesan foam and the Hake were the highlights for me - although i finished every plate off which on a fixed set menu is a rare feat. Just go.
I had the set menu of 3 courses with tomato salad, guinea fowl and chocolate mousse last Wednesday. As my first experience was just superb, I booked again to try the extremely well-priced tasting menu. This time the menu was changed - the green peas ravioli was incredibly fresh and tasty. The small surprises the chef was serving before and between meals was a nice surprise and very thoughtful. The wine list also reasonably priced and we could try most of fine French wines with under £40. The service was absolutely exemplary - charming, attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my two visits here and can't wait to go back to try the chef's new tasting menu with wonderful wines.
My partner and I dined last Saturday evening and enjoyed an amazing experience. We had the tasting menu with accompanying fine wines and enjoyed every single dish! It was my third visit and even better than I remember.
The food was phenomenal, innovative, beautiful and excellent value! For me, a guinea fowl stood out, full of flavour. The service and atmosphere make this a truly special restaurant. I'm really happy with their simple new menu and no doubt it will make this tiny local restaurant even more stands out. All in all it was another memorable meal and we would definitely return soon.
Hidden local gem! Don't make the mistake I did, and believe a word of the Fay Maschler review of this place. Pretty much everything about it is wrong!
We had great service, and the best seat in the house overlooking the kitchen.
We had the tasting menu which was both innovative and generous, and the matched wines were excellent.
Our only regret is that it took us so long to find Sinabro, but we will definitely be back!
I cannot believe that it has taken me so long to find this gem of a restaurant. We had the tasting menu and it was delicious, well thought out, lots of wonderful flavours. Beautifully presented. Excellent service and can't wait to return.
My wife and I had an excellent meal at Sinabro, served with grace and efficiency. The menu is short and imaginative. The wines by the glass we selected were very good (there are some interesting wines from the Loire Valley). The cod we had as a main dish was beautifully cooked and served, the accompanying vegetables and sauce being particularly subtle. We will undoubtedly go back. The meal was not cheap, but we did feel it was good value for money.
We had the tasting menu to celebrate my partner's birthday. We both agreed it was the best meal we had in London. What a great value for the michelin quality foods! Just amazing. I do not want to pay for the meal I can make and these guys are serious. We were surprised by fresh baked bread, smoky butter and kale pesto. Sticky pig's trotters croqutte was remarkable, following dishes were beautifully presented and delicious, full of flavours. Wine matching (includes apperitif kir royal) was also wonderful . Highly recommend.
It's often hard to get noticed as a good independent restaurant in a area flooded with chains but Sinabro was a great recommendation from a friend. A really slick operation in the open kitchen you can view from the bar seating, not the most comfortable but great for a date! A good workout for the tastebuds, the menu is relatively small but they clearly concentrate on getting it right and the food speaks for itself.
Great little restaurant on battersea rise. Food is exciting and delicious with both a French and Japanese slant. Been there a number of times and food has always been top drawer with friendly and attentive service. Good food bar too where you can see your food being prep'd.
Fantastic meal yet again. Our favourite local restaurant.
Opted for the Bream which was great but lucky for me my partner ordered the duck so I still got to try it again.
Starters were great. Best Foie Gras terrine I've had.
Nice refreshing pineapple Carpaccio for dessert.
Can't wait to go back.
Excellent cooking and friendly service.
Warm and friendly service. The ambitious cooking would not be out of place in a posh Mayfair establishment; here it comes in an intimate neighbourhood place. We sat at the bar, enjoying the tasting menu. It was great fun to see the kitchen team, who moved with calm and ballet-like precision.
The place can get a bit noisy when it's in full swing, with no soft furnishings and customers at close quarters; lowering the music would help customers communicate with one another and with the staff, who speak in gentle tones.
Food was delicious overall. Highlights were sea bass ceviche, with a tender, crisp rice cracker -- a revelation; and a beautiful egg with cavolo nero and chorizo. Two dishes didn't quite ring the bell. I found croquettes of pigs' trotters, served with aioli, slightly underpowered, not quite living up to expectations. And a rum baba, though nicely textured, had an overwhelming flavour and aroma reminiscent of something from a dentist's office.
But altogether, this place is a treasure. We will be back often.
Delightful food and impeccable service. I had the six course tasting menu and every dish tasted exceptionally great. The presentation had a lot of effort and wine flights matched very well. I would really recommend for a special occasion, birthday, date, or to enjoy the good life!
