Sir Winston's Aboard The Queen Mary
phyllo crust, tomato coulis, walnuts, balsamic, gorgonzola cheese
Sir Winston's was a dining experience. Enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised at how great this food is!! Very classy and the service was great. This was truly a great experience
Went for our anniversary. Had a great time with friends. Our waiter Benjamin was friendly and timely. The atmosphere is a little dated but what you would expect from a dining room on the QM. That said it was great to feel nostalgic and romantic at the same time. The food was very good and again a throwback so it’s hard to compare to modern cuisine. We had the Surf and Turf special which was delicious. The sauce on the steak was the standout. The Lobster Bisque was my favorite course. I had it first with the Bread variety which was also delicious. The Sorbet palette cleanse and Chocolate Strawberries were great. We had both Chocolate and Grand Mariner Soufflés. They we’re good and the house brought us a bite of rich Chocolate to celebrate our anniversary which was lovely. The price was pretty high but we had a great experience.
Not even close to the $420 is cost me, my wife and 12 year old daughter to eat there. Go out to dinner before going on the ship.
Wilfredo was an excellent waiter and took care of us very well. The food was prepared to everyone's liking and the atmosphere was perfect. Thanks
The most beautiful dining experience I ever had. Recommend this establishment to all.
Beautiful dining room and lovely and friendly service. The pre-dinner cocktails are perfectly mixed. It’s such a delicious meal presented elegantly that it feels luxurious.
Outstanding food and service. Sir Winston's made our coveted Top 5 list of restaurant meals we've enjoyed over the past 60 years.
It was our first time there, and it was a wonderful experience. We really were glad we found this place.
Just couldn’t be any better.....food was delicious and the service excellent
The restaurant is lovely and the service excellent. The meal was ok but our steaks were awful. I got comped with an apology. Don’t miss the soufflé.
Been coming here for 30 years! Always a good time, great food!
Celebrated our anniversary here and it was a great experience. Had a good view of the harbor, great service and the food was delicious. It was quiet and intimate
We went for the early bird offer but was not shown that offer until I asked
We celebrated my wife’s birthday with the whole family and in laws. The server was gave us great service and the food was delicious. Definitely great experience.
Food and service was excellent! Just wish at least one side would have been provided with the meal instead of ordering them a la carte since the entrees are so expensive.
We enjoyed every minute of the dinner that lasted 2 hours. The food was magnificent, the service friendly attentive and efficient. A little bit expensive but worth it.
Have always loved Sir Winstons!! But this time the Beef Wellington was good but the presentation was not. This was a huge portion of meat, too much. Was a disappointment, not enough of the pastry mixture to compliment the beef. Unfortunately we were sat next to a very loud couple, having an intense discussion..... just bad luck. Waiter was excellent and they celebrated our Anniversary with us, very sweet.
We have dined here twice. It's a wonderful experience for special occasions but you need to have deep pockets. Very pricey but again, worth it on special occasions. My husband had a surf and turf which included bacon wrapped filet mignon with lobster tail, mashed potatoes, and asparagus which was priced at $78. I had vegetable Wellington which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus for $40. I added a side salad which was $14. We each had a glass of wine at $14 each glass. The restaurant gave us a dessert dish for our anniversary and our bill was about $180 without tip. Again.....deep pockets. This is our second visit and we decided we probably wont go back, not because it isn't excellent but because we've gone enough and can say we did. No need for overkill. I say it's way worth it to try once or twice. Enjoy!
It’s been many years since we’ve dined at Sir Winston’s and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend for a very special occasion. Dine early for a gorgeous window table.
Great experience! 0ur second time here and we love it!
We celebrated Valentines Day a week late this year due to work conflicts. We decided to try Sir Winston's for something different. It turned out to be PERFECT! We arrived 90 minutes early so we could explore the ship. The weather was perfect for a stroll on the historic decks and around the bridge, Captain's Quarters, etc.. Then we went into the lounge by Sir Winston's and had a cocktail. It was very quiet, the drinks were generous and the staff there was very friendly. Dinner was the best part of the experience. From the service, the various courses served and the general ambiance this was really one of the most memorable events/meals that my wife and I had in over 30 years of marriage. Well done!
Good dining experience, grate Cooke, friendly staffs ,good view, nice environment.
Wonderful Dinner for our Anniversary. Great service and delicious food!
The food and service were phenomenal a d we would definitely eat here again!
Delicious food, great service! Treat yourself!!!!!
Everything was good and delicious food , service I would highly recommend this place to my friends , I would recommend to have some soft music while dining, It was so quite I think we where the only ppl who was noisy lol. But other than that was perfect
It was an amazing experience. From the food to the our waiter, my birthday was wonderful.
The place is nice, the place is awesome and the service is excellent. I ordered a porter house steak and it wasn’t the greatest I’ve had it was a bit on the salty side.
The Beef Wellington was very good. The New York Steak was very tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also very good. We ordered the Molten Lava Cake and it was burned on the bottom. Very disappointing. The waiter replaced it with cheese cake which we paid for. It should have been on the house because of the misstep. Overall the service was very good.
Get the Beef Wellington.
It was a great Valentines dinner great food and great service. Will be going again and will be going back with friends.
My husband loves Beef Wellington. I only found Sir Winston as the fine dining place to go in Orange County. We made a reservation at Hyatt for the night to make it extra special. The Beef Wellington had a large steak in it, larger than usual. But the last bites were very chewy and there seemed to be a chunk of fat in it. My husband was not pleased. He has eaten BW at many other restaurants but this one was the worst. I enjoyed my salmon and the rest of our dining experience was excellent. However, I could not sleep later that night because my stomach was upset, I even was nauseated for a while. I was up that night. Not sure if it was from the food, but I usually don’t feel sick like that after eating out (we eat out every week).
Since we paid a higher price for the BW I expected something fabulous. We went to Sir Winston about 4 year ago and it was amazing. My husband was excited to go back to your restaurant, but unfortunately the experience was not that great with the food. Not worth the money. The rest (staff, ambiance and other food) was great. All in all, we were very disappointed. And worst thing: I don’t think my husband wants to go back.
I made a reservation 1.5 months before the date of our reservation. I was notified the Sunday prior to our Friday reservation that the cost was going to be $105/person and that there was a different menu but there were still options. Upon arrival there were no options and it was a preselected menu which featured a good amount of seafood. Neither my husband nor I eat seafood so we paid $250 for water, a tablespoon of raspberry sherbet and a small amount of filet mignon. I understand that it was Valentines, however I booked way in advanced and they should have told us much sooner that the cost and menu was changing so we could have made other arrangements. We flew into Long Beach that day and didn’t have access to a car to go anywhere else so were stuck. I will never eat there again.
David, our server was extremely professional. He provided excellent customer service.
Like the Queen mary itself - it lacked atmosphere and was neither a classic period resturant or contemporary. Very expensive .... but it was valentines day so to be expected....
Food was very average.
Great date location and a very romantic ambiance. The food was excellent as well as the service.
Weve been telling all of our friends what an amazing experience we had. The food exceeded our expectations and the service was impeccable. We loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back as often as we can!!
Very special place for a special night out. I highly recommend!
Un excellent repas avec des produits de qualité et un service impeccable
