SIX will offer a variety of dining experiences. From our intimate and ambient Dining Room, with luxurious design and every romantic detail taken care of, to the more relaxed and informal Brasserie style dining area. SIX is also Brighton"s first cold-pressed cocktail bar, offering a diverse menu of beautifully constructed drinks, along with a selection of the finest organic wines. We will also be serving our own brewed craft beers, made and imported from a small village outside of Ghent in Belgium. We are committed to solely using locally sourced, organic seasonal ingredients to create our perfectly balanced menus for both our Brasserie and Dining Room. All ingredients are meticulously sourced and supplied directly by local producers to ensure they are of freshest and highest quality available.

Burger and fries like the sort you might get at a bowling alley, with real restaurant prices. So, so poor.

We were really disappointed with the food. It all came out looking beautiful, the plating is first class, but it was let down terribly by the flavours.
2 in our party had burgers which were so dry and mealy they had to go back.
The salmon and crayfish linguini had no crayfish. The orange and chocolate crumb desert had no orange.
The waitress took a big chunk off our bill which was appreciated.
Overall we had a great time - the bottom Prosecco flowed! - and we didn’t let the food ruin our celebration, but my sense is they are focusing too much on what looks Instagram-able and forgetting about the flavour and quality of the food.

Service was atrocious apart from one waitress Josie who seemed to be bearing the brunt for all of the other staff member's total incompetence.
The food was cold and the manager's attitude was atrocious - patronising and utterly insincere.

Been to Six before on a couple of occasions and the service and food was great. Yesterday was completely different, the service was slow, our order was messed up, the food was cold and we waited so long to get the waitresses attention to leave that we stood up with coats and masks on until she noticed.

We had a poor experience this Saturday at six - food came to the table stone cold for one meal and slightly warm for the other meaning we sent one meal back and ate separately. The plan based burger was unpleasant. Cocktails were small and took a very long time to arrive, we were then told there had been a jam in the ticketing machine. Drinks were taken off the bill, however the overall experience was poor - we were told by the bar staff that many people has complained. Wouldn’t go back

Loved our evening at SIX.
Food was fabulous and the waitress was very much on the ball when it came to my food allergies and pointed out, which dishes I could actually eat.
It didn't seem very busy for a Saturday night, but I think it had more to do with SIX being so Covid aware. All their tables were well spaced out to keep everyone safe.
Can't fault them and would definitely recommend.

Service was okay but no customers were wearing masks when going to the toilet or leaving etc. Food was below average, poached eggs were not runny at all. We had the bottomless prosecco option which we kept having to ask for more prosecco and they tried to end our 1.5 hours after an hour.

I love the ambience in Six; it’s such a glamorous place to dine out. My friends and I had bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday and our food was exquisite. The staff were very accommodating, despite the current situation. We also throughly enjoyed our Prosecco and the variety of flavours that came with to mix with it.

Great selection of brunch meals. Not your usual greasy fry up. We had a lovely eggs benedict with avocado and the pescatarian breakfast dish. Lovely, quick service, nice ambience. Would definitely recommend.

Interesting meal, and a bit of a mixed bag. Totally understand having to check the menu on a phone, but a paper version would’ve saved some time. Equally, service was great and very prompt, and our waitress was fantastic in all she did.

Only pet peeve really was waiting nearly 30 minutes to get a starter, and from sitting down to starter plates being removed taking almost an hour. After this, main courses were served very promptly, and were absolutely delicious. I can’t fault the food, as it’s some of the best casual dining in Brighton.

Totally would recommend, but expect a relaxed dinner.

Really lovely as a treat. Bruch bowls are delicious. Probably a little pricey for everyday outings but perfect for a special occasion. Service is exceptional.

Foos was good, service ok, but there was only 1 waiter and one comi.
We received our burger first, without fries
Then fries arrived after burger had been eaten
then requested vinegar
which arrived after the chips.
The other meal was lovely, hot and great value.
poor server was rushed off her feet. Took orders from 2 tables why we waited for our vinegar. Wrong priorities.
We did get a glass of wine brought to the table as a gift, and the chips were free. We would have preferred to have a desert but were not given that option.
Wasnt an amazing experience, unfortunately.

The food was really good, and the flavour of the eggs on toast outstanding but I feel the plate was a little bit poor just with that but, really good flavour. The pancakes and the eggs Benedict looked delicious too. The service was great

Our only real complaint was the service was very slow. We sad down for 10 mins before they came over to see if we needed anything. Then they brought the wrong menu so we had to change what we wanted to order. Menus are online but there are paper copies available. Food very good.

Very loud drunk people. Near table screaming all through meal. Tacky atmosphere.
Meals took ages to come they got the order mixed up and when food did come looked like had been thrown together in a hurry. One meal was really tiny portion. Waitress could hardly understand English. Became frustrating trying to explain to her.

We had to wait quite long time for our food to arrive , my mum had roast chicken , where the vegetables were very hard to say the least, we requested some fresh veg that was cooked slightly more which never arrived. My breakfast was very overcooked and not hot .
I would say though the bottomless presseco was value for money.

Average service, and no water for the table offered. Menu was limited which would usually be fine but told 2 out of the options were not available which left the rest very limited. Food took a very long time to come out and when it did, it was average and not worth the value we paid.
The toilets were clearly not monitored frequently and in times like these, you’d expect better. I didn’t appreciate having to use toilet paper that was left stacked up on the sanitary bin.
Sorry to say that I won’t be going back

We had the bottomless brunch. I understand that since covid you have changed your serving rules understandbly

I was made aware that if we did not finish the prosecco bottle in the 1.5-hour limit that this was sanitised and given to the next diner.

Whilst I hope that I misheard this, it is slightly concerning that given the nature of Covid being spread by droplets in the air. What protection do your diners have whilst people are talking over the bottle at their table, that droplets do not go into the bottle.

As I'm sure you aware when people are merry at a bottomless brunch they will try silly things like "trying to drink from the bottle"

Again I really do hope I misheard this by the waitress, but I would appreciate an explanation on how this meets covid standards. Sharing bottles between different customers.

nonetheless, SIX is a great place to dine and I hope your business prospers over these difficult times.

Our food took Over 40 mins, we asked for water a few times before it came, had both finished our drinks about 20 mins before the food arrived. £1 for ‘extra mushrooms’ turned out to be a single cold mushroom on the side. Coffee was fab but won’t be returning sorry!

The standard of food and especially the service standard is usually a lot better than my experience this week. We had to chase for every aspect of the meal which wasn't ideal and broke up our chat.

The staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

The food was lovely but the service was dismal and chaotic we waited an hour for mains, they were discounting people’s meals all around us, we were very disappointed as no reason was given as to why the delays occurred. If you do want to go to six as a heads up you need to download the menu on their app. It took a waitress 15 minutes to come over and explain this to us

We had a dairy requirement on the table, the waitresses got it wrong 3 times, giving the burger with cheese on it. The lady with the allergy could be seriously ill if she had eaten the dairy products. The other friends chips got missed off our order, the waitress didnt believe we didnt get served them so she had to 'check' with the team. My mocktail was only half full with no ice. My friend received one later in the evening with ice and full to the top. The venue is gorgeous, when the food was right it was nice however we were a bit annoyed especially as they only took service charge off for mistaken burger and chips which isn't compulsory anyway. We had to moan and groan to get what we wanted, however we shouldn't have needed to do that.

Our meal was outstanding.
Calamari starter followed by pork belly and the melting chocolate to end it all off.
Was a great evening and cannot wait to return!
