Food was slightly underwhelming for price but the service was very good and very nice feel inside

Great options for df/gf diners. Lovely mocktail too. Wait team were knowledgeable and attentive. Food was a let down for me. Tasteless luke warm mussels to start (no lid?) And mo check back. Confit duck reheated to Billy o. Sweet potato chips underdone. The staff were very apologetic but oddly took service and a drink off. I paid the service as the service was great. You can see they do great stuff and my boyfriends food was fine I just got a bad run. Would still go back though I think if they noticed the mussels or I sent them back they would have changed it no problem

Such a fabulous welcome and love the decor. Waitress (Amy) is a real asset to Six and I imagine anywhere else she work. Great cocktails, starters good. Mains - confit of duck was not Confit of duck, but a dry roasted duck leg - such a shame. Others mains were good, especially the hot buddha bowl with belly pork. Pudding- poached pear was delicious. Lovely touch of a complimentary prosecco for my daughter, who’s 21st we were celebrating.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately, it took 30 mins to order a drink or food. A bit surprised to see a group of 14 allowed at 2 tables that ended up merging together given the times. Great value for money, may just have been a slow day in the kitchen

I made this booking originally as a small gem party after the new tier rules where put in place we decided to send the bride and groom and the staff went above beyond to make them feel feel special so would like to say a big thank you!

Told we weren’t allowed in without a mask. Only to be seated 3 metres from the entrance and take our masks off, everyone walking around going to the toilet and leaving without a mask etc...

I took my mum here for Sunday lunch and I have to say that it was exceptionally good! Really lovely customer service, food and wine. The setting was so pretty too.

Went for the bottomless brunch option with 3 friends which was great value. The waitress, Paula was so lovely and very helpful! She was attentive and kept us filled up with Prosecco and complimentary liquor mixers and orange juice. The ambiance was good and we had a lovely table in the window. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the food. Two of our group had the eggs Benedict, which they said was delicious, however, myself and the other guest had the ‘Farmers breakfast’ which wasn’t great, the ‘roasted tomatoes’ were barely cooked, the lamb sausage was very dry and the purple potatoes, although different, were completely tasteless and boiled which didn’t really in-keep with the breakfast! Overall, it was a great experience slightly let down by the food but definitely made up for by the lovely Paula! The food didn’t matter too much after 3 huge 1.5ltr bottles of Prosecco😂 Will be back!

Food was amazing!!! Everything about dining at Six was great. We went for my partners birthday breakfast, before a day of birthday activities. The establishment was really lovely, nicely decorated, friendly staff, we were seated straight away, all members of staff were adhering to Covid guidelines, which made us feel as though we were in safe hands. Our waitress was also lovely too. The menu was nice and varied and our food arrived promptly after our order had been placed. I would definitely recommend and would go again when visiting Brighton in the future (after the second lockdown). Thanks for a lovely experience SIX!!!!!!!!!!

Undercooked and over salty food, not great tea, very kind staff

Warm welcoming on arrival, really enjoyed the breakfast we had the orange juice was good so was the coffee but think the smoothie needs a bit of work .

Sadly our third visit to SIX was very disappointing, we certainly won’t be going back again. Service was very inattentive (we had another waiter take over who was trying his best and somewhat better than the first). The restaurant was not particularly busy and we were there early for breakfast. Dispite this the wait for food was almost 50 minutes and when it did arrive two of the orders were incorrect, with one having to be sent back, while the other dish was lukewarm. As others have mention, trying to pay the Bill took an age. A small discount was applied for the issues (thank you), but we were still charged for the missing extras from one of the dishes.

My family and I were really disappointed with our trip to SIX on Monday evening. The member of staff serving us did not apologise, acknowledge or even seem concerned at the poor level of service, despite us repeatedly having to ask where our food was. Several meals were missing off the menu, the food was late out and several dishes were forgotten. I suspected we might have some money knocked off the bill as an apology but this didn't happen, after we were given our bill we were left and the member of staff disappeared so I did not have an opportunity to say something and we ended up asking the barman if he could take our payment. It was a quiet evening, so it cannot even be because they were run off their feet. I have to say this is the first bad review I have ever left (for any service) but I was really disappointed.
