Smiths Restaurant Wapping
Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.
Never fails to deliver and offers the best fish selection for miles
We found the resturant to be top quality in all respects we have already recommended it to friends and plan to revisit very soon. I would recommend it on all front but my only thought was maybe to break up some of the window tables with smaller tables for 2 to make the occasion even better looking over the Thames. Thankyou again
Great food, great service (almost Ninja like) and a well priced wine list. The two hour slot was more than adequate allowing for a suitable rest between courses.
Only one (minor) downside is that not all tables have a riverside view.
Nevertheless, a very enjoyable dining experience and overall, very well priced. We will definitely be heading back at some point in the near future!
Food was fantastic.
such a fantastic place always happy to Recommend fantastic food and atmosphere
Outstanding service and excellent food . Very comfortable and good value for money. One of my new favourite places !
Love Smiths, Wapping. Delicious food, great place
I would definitely recommend Smiths. The staff were very attentive, never having to ask for anything or filling up my drink. The food was very very nice.
With great views over the Thames and an emphasis on fish/seafood, though not exclusively so, four of us enjoyed the set lunch option, which gave plenty of choice. The wine list is good - not cheap but reasonable. We plan to return.
Never fails to please me - love the food, staff are great and love where restaurant is.
Took my 90 year old father for lunch. The staff looked after us extremely well and accommodated us at a table by the window. Food and wine top class as ever.
My dinner at Smiths was faultless - delicious food and amazing staff! Will definitely return!
Visited with my work colleagues and I opted for the lunch set menu - the food was really good throughout. Although all the starters were great, I especially liked the pickled herring. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and liked that you got a decent portion and there seemed to be no difference with size when ordering al a carte. I would very much like to visit again and would happily recommend.
A five ⭐️experience all round
Always such a nice evening
6 of us went here on Sunday 6th jan to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
The staff are amazing, always round your table constantly providing bread and topping up your drinks.
The menu choice is amazing and als the specials are worth a try.
I had prawns with a chilli sauce for my starter and I tried gurnard from the specials list for my main. The food is absolutely out of this world.
It is a pricey restaurant but it doesn’t matter as the service and food quality is outstanding. Monday - Saturday they do a set menu for afternoons which looks reasonably priced, we will try that next time
Lovely meal, great staff, lovely restaurant very comfortable relaxed atmosphere

Yet again a lovely meal and evening. The food was delicious, good wine menu, excellent service and to top it all a fantastic view over Tower Bridge.
What a lovely restaurant with fantastic food, a great find. Definitely recommend this place it’s awesome.
From the moment we arrived we were treated well. The staff were friendly polite & efficient. Even making sure we were happy where our table was. The food & the champagne were delicious with generous portions. Well worth the money. There was also a pianist playing and the view is fantastic.
The food was Great, excellent service and amazing views.
Would definitely recommend
Excellent food and service as always. Would highly recommend.
Amazing experience- Excellent Service - Great food and lovely ambience ❤️
My favorite resturant, never lets us down, Food excellent, service and staff outstanding. I eat out all the time and recommend Smiths to all my friends and never had negative feedback .
One of the best resturants in town.
Really enjoyed a lovely sunday lunch: good quality food; generous portions; attractively presented and served by polite and attentive waiting staff.
Food was exceptional and all staff were extremely attentive and efficient from the second we entered the restaurant until we left.
As usual full on professional service, first class menu although of course fish is the great speciality and should really be your reason for going although there are other meat dishes available, lovely bright and airy atmosphere with fabulous view of the river and Tower Bridge. Just a terrific little location away from the West End with loads to offer the customer. Classy, friendly great pianist and as long as it stays as good as it always has been, we shall be regular visitors!
Terrific as usual. Usually go in the evening but lunch was just as good.
My partner and I as always had a lovely meal in Smiths, I hadn’t been there for over a year so was so looking forward to a lovely meal and it was lovely food.
We just looked up this restaurant on open table and tried it on a whim. We were BLOWN AWAY! The service was fantastic, the food outstanding, and the entire experience was unforgettable!
Visited on numerous occasions and never been disappointed
Amazing Atmosphere, food and great value for money. The staff was very friendly and helpful
Fantastic service and delicious food. Never fails to impress, always a wonderful experience.
As always great and as I always say the gents toilets need more lighting I think they are very dull and could do with a makeover it’s the only thing that lets them down
Great food, great service, nice view and reasonable price -> it’s a 5/5!
