Smollensky’s Canary Wharf Restaurant
Located above Smollensky’s Bar, join us on our spectacular terrace overlooking the plaza with great views across the Wharf, the perfect space for drinks or winding down after work with your colleagues and friends. The outdoor terrace comes equipped with outdoor heaters, blankets and it's own bar which is great for any special occasion.
Fantastic place with lovely staff. ... shame it’s closing this week
Food was fairly nice, would recommend to a friend only with the discount at a weekend.
I went to this restaurant with high expectations but I was left quite disappointed both by the quality (of the steak) and by the serving quantity; I was left less than full and less than satisfied. If you want a steak in Canary Wharf i would recommend Goodman's, Gaucho, or even Boisdale. I will not be going back to Smollensky's anytime soon, at least not for a steak!
They didn’t seem to have my open table reservation on file but did have space to seat the 10 of us.
A perfectly adequate experience. Average service, decent food.
We loved it. Wonderful food, service and restaurant.
Food was below average and my chicken burger was a very thin slice of chicken in a massive bun with 3 bits of chorizo thrown on top. Chips were over cooked and hard - not fresh / retried. V poor.
Service was good, shame the food didn’t live up to it.
Although a little loud due to one group, we still enjoyed our meal. I'd definitely go back again
Dont go expecting good service or a classy canary wharf atmosphere, felt like a school canteen with paid food :(
Allowed us to make a booking for 11am on Opentable but upon arriving at the restaurant, were told the kitchen wasn’t open until 12. Why allow me to book a table if you can’t offer me lunch????
I met a friend and we had lunch. I thought I'd have to make up a vegan meal from individual tapas selections. Instead I was offered an adequately sized meal with what looked like home-made baked beans, lovely toasted bread, spinach and other goodies. It looked fantastic and tasted great. Even more so as it was unexpected! Kudos to Smollensky's for thinking about plant-based eating!
First time at Smollenskys at Canary Wharf and pleasantly surprised. The food is simple and straightforward and the service very good - I think this is very good value for money and a fine way to finish the week!
Changed booking time as planned changed last minute. Staff helpful and co-operative.
Very attentive and prompt.
We were very early so it was very quiet. Food was mediocre to be honest, bu ok
We have eaten here before on several occasions and generally it has been good. However on this occasion the service was poor which is strange because it wasn't over busy, there just wasn't the normal consideration it was just like get their order and get them out. When we did speak to the waitress she clearly wasn't interested in what we had to say. Disappointing really, hope it just a one off.
Good value for money and perfectly located at Reuters Plaza. Good menu for business lunch. Service not 100% satisfying.
Lovedd the out side sitting/ bar. Great to take pictures and have a glass of wine
A nice clean and modern place to eat. The staff were attentive and nothing was a problem. Food tasted good, with good size portions. On the whole a nice place to eat at a very reasonable price.
Will go back
Poor poor food and a service to match
I enjoyed my experience at smollensky only problem was service the waitress was forgetting things but apologised for getting it wrong one of my guest had to wait longer for her food which was a bit uncomfortable because we were all eating it made her feel left out we were offered complimentary dessert and apologised too. Just to say the waitress need to double check out orders before she leave.
Other than that it was a very good evening.
Below average service with staff forgetting elements off the order. Wouldn’t recommend.
New items have been added to the menu try their take on a chilli dog a bit different to an America chilli dog but very tasty
This would have been a 4 or even 5 star rating if it weren't for the service. My food was delicious, I ordered the steak and fries with a glass of malbec which was great value for money. However my friend's food wasn't as appetising. When she raised with the waiter that the chicken breast was dry he began telling her that is how it is supposed to taste and made other excuses. Then when we finished our meal and the waiter asked if she enjoyed the meal she said she didn't and he pointed at the plate to indicate that she ate the meal. I found that to be quite rude. The waiter seemed incapable of listening to feedback.
Extremely slow but polite service. Loud drunk people. Food slightly disappointing- no rice or quinoa in the salad so they brought me extra salad to make up for it. Could tell it was a chain with set amounts of each ingredient.
Nice and cosy restaurant. Unfortunately there was a birthday party taking place so we asked to be reseated due to the noise levels. Good food, average cocktails. Slightly offended when the waitress asked us if we wanted to split our bill - despite us being on a date. Overall we liked it though so would return.
Good location and handy for a quick lunch.
Excellent service and tasty food
Overall good experiance
Keep the good customer service. All the staff where full of smiles when we walked into the restaurant. We where warmly welcomed and offered seats.
By far too noisy. Had to literally shout to hear across the table
Great for after work drinks in the downstairs bar or for food upstairs as a group or couple.
Outside space, great for sunny weather. Very convenient as right next to the station. Service good and very attentive. Decent food.
Good steaks - rib eye and T-bone, and succulent burgers. Very convenient location in Canary Wharf.
Food was very tasty service was excellent you couldn't ask for anything more
Went specifically for the ribs whicbtheybjad run out off. The cod was also ofthe menu leaving my pecetarian friend with the sole choice of salmon. Service was non existent, had to go up to the bar for additional wine glasses. Couldn't get waiting staff's attention. Must try harder, especially in canary wharf where people are more demanding.
Amazing place to eat catered for all our group with two having gluten free and dairy free diets.
Food was of excellent quality, couldn't find a fault with any, children very well catered for too. Very well priced considering your in London.
5 stars all the way, well done smollensky's keep up the excellent work, staff lovely and friendly.
Excellent value. Good service and good surrounding. Would recommend to anyone one.
First time and very impressed. Very good food and value for the location is amazing. Convenient location and friendly staff
Nice to catch up with friends
we had a really nice birthday meal with my dad- which meant he got his steak for free and we got a bottle of fizz too- nice attentive staff and good choice of food - everyone enjoyed their dish i would imagine mid week it can get busy/noisy but on a sunday it was perfect for what we wanted.
I took my wife for valentine's dinner. We were seated as soon as we got to the restaurant and a waiter saw to us right away. Very lovely set up of the restaurant, although the tables felt a little bit cramped. The food was amazing, especially the steak. I'd recommend Smollenkys to anyone looking for good food and good quality service.
I dined at Smollensky's in Canary Wharf with friends last week. They have a good and varied menu, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere - we all had burgers which were just delicious. It's perfect for friends' and colleagues' get-togethers after work and quick lunches if you can manage to escape from work at lunchtime! It's also right by my office so very convenient for me - I will return soon!
