Took my parents there from out of town. The staff are so incredibly thoughtful and friendly there. Made us feel at home and with incredible food to boot. This is a gem of South Baltimore, and we will be going back asap.

As always, SoBo never lets us down. We feel welcome. My husband always gets the chicken pot pie. He always says he is tempted to try something else on the menu, but the chicken pot pie is so good he can't pass it up. I tried the shwarma pita wrap with roasted fingerling potatoes. It was delicious. I have never been disappointed with a meal at SoBo. It is a place I am always comfortable inviting friends to.

All of the food was tasty. The restaurant was busy and the service was still great. Drinks were the only thing that were just okay. No liquor so the “cocktails” were mostly wine and juice. Sangria was very sweet. Overall great experience!!

The food and drinks are really good, wait staff really friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance is cozy. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only table there - there’s not a lot of background noise and the tables are arranged well to make you feel like you aren’t on top of each other.

I love Sobo Cafe and tonight was as good as I hoped for. I went with an old friend for a quiet Monday night dinner. We shared chicken Marsala and mushroom ravioli. Delicious! The service was excellent and friendly. The space is filled with Crystal Moll paintings which look so pretty against those saffron colored walls.

Booked a table for an early dinner on a Friday night. Not busy upon arrival, but soon picked up with takeout orders, patrons at the bar and inside and outside dining. Sadly, I forgot to get our server's name because she deserves a big shout out! One member of our party had some dietary concerns which our server addressed and verified with the kitchen staff. I feel our server went above and beyond in her attention to detail. The food was outstanding. No long waits, incredible taste and lovely presentation. My husband and I had the Korean Braised Short Ribs. Melt in your mouth delicious. The kimchi greens on top were a delightful surprise. We don't get to Baltimore much, but SoBo is a definite repeat. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
