Thank you for your understanding.

The kitchen closes at 9am on Monday and 9.30pm during the rest of the week and at 3.30pm on Sunday. We are opening on Mondays (Bookings only) for Chicken & Wine Monday. From Tuesday to Saturday, kitchen closes between 3pm and 6pm, however as we are still open for drinks, we can serve Charcuterie Selection or Cheese Selection during this period.

We have been going to Soif for around 10 years We love it because the food never disappoints and the restaurant has a lovely cosy ambience. They have got the perfect balance of creating a relaxed atmosphere, but with attention to detail with the decor, music, service and most of all the food. The modern French menu is always delicious and cooked to perfection. It’s not the cheapest place to eat in the area, but the quality of food far outstrips the others restaurants. I would say is worth it for a special night out as we never leave disappointed. We would highly recommend Soif.

We enjoyed it but we’re disappointed to find that Duck ( large platter) was not available and yet we were early eating. The substitute was excellent but that’s not the point.

Service was excellent when I arrived. But as Soif became busier it was less good. It’s a very popular restaurant and the tables are close together. The menu is really enticing-sharing plates,small plates and usual size main courses. We chose small plates-a terrine, heritage tomatoes and sardines, a gorgeous mushroom dish and something with red cabbage-rather less tasty! My friend drank Pinot noir and I drank Beaujolais-one glass only as I was driving. Soif specialises in wine and the maitre’ is knowledgeable. If you go there-walk!

Met a friend for dinner to catch up after not having seen each other for a long time. Service was excellent, food was superb, and the wine list is the best around—amazingly good value for hard-to-find natural wines and everyday drinkers. The attention paid to having a good vegetarian main was also much appreciated. My friend and I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

We are in a Monday evening and enjoyed the rotisserie chicken meal very much. The restaurant is lovely and the service was great. I didn’t give the food 5 stars because the portion of chips was somewhat small for 4 people to share. Desserts were spectacular 👍🏻

Very friendly service. We loved our waiter Elias who was so welcoming and gave really helpful advice on number of dishes to choose and recommended super delicious red wine. Very personable. Delicious food (whipped cod roe little plate and beetroot/blackberry to die for) and a wonderful ambiance made our date night extra special. It was quite noisy and warm but we still loved it and will be back. We even got an eau de vie on the house which was a wonderful touch.

Was really looking forward to trying the restaurant but what a disappointment it was. Food was bland and definitely not the normal level of French food we had a waiter who questioned our orders both for the main and dessert. Not a pleasant experience. The food was definitely not worth the money, very bad value for money.

Always excellent food and wine. Monday ‘chicken night’ particularly delicious. Service friendly and attentive. It is noisy - traffic outside and hard floors, etc - so don’t go with a whisperer.
