This is the third time to Malt and it never disappoints! Did the 6 course degustation with matching wines. Staff were very knowledgeable and took time to talk us through each dish and wine. Very good value for a degustation! The little touches were appreciated - e.g. it was our anniversary, so there was a card signed by all the staff and a little bottle of sparkling to take home on the table when we arrived. Great atmosphere. My tip is to arrive early and enjoy a cocktail in the bar downstairs. The bar staff are really professional and the cocktails are like works of art. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Lovely ambiance to this restaurant & bar; such a pleasant surprise when you walk in from busy Sandgate Road. Ever changing menu using array of cuts of meat. The charcuterie board is outstanding. My favourite course was desert to die for. Tried the deconstructed rocky road & was not dissspointed;an explosion of flavours including coconut sorbet. Great staff & service too.
