Went with my date, reservations at 8:00pm. We arrived at 8:02pm and there were no tables reserved. I understand the situation is tough with Covid, but then just dont take reservations. So, people visit with the right expectations, and probably make back up plans

A very interesting food selection and despite the difficulties of Covid19, they were very accommodating. Set up was out front as required by law, but they did a great job of creating a nice environment. Can't wait to go back when things return to normal.

It was great... For noise level I'm confused about if high means loud or I liked the noise level... Either way, live this place!

This is my favorite pizza place! All of the pizza's are made with high quality fresh ingredients. The burrata caprese is a must order appetizer!

We loved this place since it opened and Mario has always been so wonderful & generous. We often complimented him on how it was the Westside rival to Pizzeria Mozza. Which is a huge compliment as it is one of LA’s best. It’s been about 6 months since our last visit and I hate to say although the service and ambiance was on par as before, sadly the pizza was not! Both pizzas we ordered were very dry and the crust was hard and difficult to chew. They reminded me of the frozen mini pizzas we use to heat up in the microwave as kids. The meats on top were also dry and not as flavorful as before. Not sure if it was just an off night or he changed the recipe of the dough, but it was terrible. The couple next to us heard our complaints and said they have been back twice now in the past couple of months and noticed a major difference too. I know he just had a baby not long ago so perhaps he has not been able to be as hands on, but I doubt we will waste the calories again for a re-do sadly. :(( Shame...as consistency is the key to success in this often fragile “mom & pop” business concept.

Best pizza on the west side! Staff is amazing, pizza is fantastic, great wine menu. All of the pizzas are fabulous, but the potato pizza is surprisingly one of my favorites. I can’t wait to go back now that SIP order has been lifted.

Food and service always delivers here

The food was not good. The Parmesan cheese was dry and the pizza was inauthentic with way too much garlic.

Very different, fun place. Come for the pizza - stay for the wine. Attentive, high energy staff. Somewhat close quarters, so come with friends. And can probably get noisy, so come with close friends. Very enjoyable terrific food and a very different, very neighborhood type of feel. Highly recommended.

The food is great but the restaurant has limited seating. Even with a reservation, we were sat at the bar. This was not great for someone with lower back pain

Service was amazing even though the restaurant was very busy. The food was so delicious! The smoked mozzarella was so good, I couldn’t stop eating! Great wine selection. We will definitely come back very soon! :))

I had a date on Friday that turned me into a new fan of South End. I expected nothing out of the ordinary, but ended up having some of the best pizza ~ gluten-free even! The sauce on the pizza was THE BEST SAUCE I have EVER had on a pizza. It reminded me of my Italian Mother's homemade sauce for meatballs and pasta!
The staff was super friendly and made us feel like we were guests in their home. The owner, Mario, greeted us at the door and let us in. Super nice guy who cares about his business. My date knew him from a nearby bar that he also owns, The Roosterfish.
The wine selection was really impressive too! We noticed that they also have their label on a few different bottles of wine, which tells me that they really take their wines seriously.
Also, I should note that the appetizers and salad selection looked great! We had the Caesar's Salad and it was excellent! 2 real anchovies found their way to the top of the salad ~ a perfect amount to be authentic!
I can't wait to go back and try more pizzas. This time, I'll ask for extra sauce!

Our entire experience was absolutely fabulous. I will be dreaming about the pizza for weeks to come. Their list of wines by the glass is generous, easily satisfying our very different tastes. Wonderful all around.

Great place if you like lots of energy and a crowd. If you're young and can hear well over a ton of noise and don't mind sitting in a super crowded place, then this is your kind of place. The good was very good, but the noise level and super small, crowded table and aisle were less than enjoyable for us. Probably better to go at times other than a weekend night.

Mario and his staff were very welcoming and accommodating! Made for a special night and the food was so tasty. Worth the wait!

Cute for a date night but it's a tight squeeze. The wine list is a little pricey for what you get but the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Overall it's fun for a sip of wine or quick dinner but not a regular hang out.

Good food and wine but they fooled us with the tip. We asked to split the bill in half for my friend and me. They did that and we both have 20% tip. Turns out they charged us both 20% for the entire bill so we gave a 40% tip. I’m not a fan of places that intentionally fool customers like that.

Definitely the best pizza and wine in the Marina del Rey area. A bit hectic all the time so be sure to make reservations. Excellent staff and super kitchen staff.

Atmosphere, food, wine and service is all spot on. Best pizza I’ve had in LA, possibly ever.

First the restaurant, located in a strip mall, was very tiny. The pizza was really good with a unusual selection. Not your standard pizza. The beer was somewhat cold. However, I like a really cold beer. Concluding, I guess it was a bad night the fryer was down. Delaying our food order. The way to go maybe order take out.
