We ate here for lunch before going to the theatre...
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was lovely..
Great that they do small portions as well as normal size as pasta can be very filling..would definitely go back..x
Enrique was a very good waiter, made the difference between a regular meal and a good one
I booked this restaurant for a post theater dinner for my mother's birthday. We arrived 20 mins early but the restaurant was able to accommodate us as it was empty, it was around 5:40pm. The waiters were not very welcoming or friendly. The service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. The food was below average. One of my party ordered calamari and when it arrived it was all batter and the calamari was dried out and hard. The mains were below average. I was very disappointed with the food and the service. The restuarant did not even acknowledge that the booking was for a birthday, it was only when i mentioned it whilst paying the bill they offered to bring a complimentary cake with a candle but by then i felt it was too late. It was definitely not the kind of birthday dinner I had planned for my mother. I would definitely not recommend the place and the lack of ambiance in the restaurant was made worse by the building works going on outside.
Friendly, efficient staff. Tasty food with some interesting sharing appetisers - did not go for the pasta but ate off the mains menu which were good.
The food was average. My Pollo y Funghi tasted as if the chicken had been pre cooked, very dry and chewy.
The service was so slow we gave up on dessert went to the counter for the bill
Dinner after the theater, although I had a ver late reservation (2300hrs) service was outstanding! Very pleasant Manager on duty!
Usually spaghetti houses are reliable and good value. Service on this occasion was very slow and they weren't busy. That is not acceptable. Food was good to usual standard.
Excellent and reasonably priced corner Italian.
We had a mixed group and we wanted a place that is easy for everyone. We had excellent entrees and good pasta and every piece of food was really nice. Do not expect foams or aged meats, but if you want to have comfort food in a friendly environment then you have found it.
A few days in London
Second visit. Love this place because the service is fabulous, the food is great - will stick to the pasta dishes though as I felt they are better value. The staff are fantastic.
Food and staff were great, we would fine again at the Westminster restaurant
This was the first time at Spaghetti House Bryanston. The food was tasty and the portions were large. We were a bit pressed for time and the food arrived later than we would have wished, but the staff handled this in a very friendly and professional manner taking full responsibility. We'll be back.
We decided to book here for a late snack and drink after the theatre. There were four of us, we all had starters which were very nice, bruschetta, pate, calamari, salad, fries. Very good service, nothing too much trouble, they even arranged complimentary dessert plate with happy birthday for friend Rachel, I noted it on the reservation when booking.
Chris was super.
Meal was excellent.
Our first visit to Spaghetti House and were very impressed by the attentive staff and good quality food
I am regular to eat Parma Pizza but found this was poor, not enough cheese taste on pizza.
Waiter not good manner, next time not come for Sunday Lunch
Nice ambience, however had to advise staff of lack of prawns in a linguine dish - 2! Staff took it back to kitchen and brought out a new portion. Nice experience however very expensive for a chain restaurant. Will not be going back.
Had a very nice meal here earlier this week. The choice was amazing. Sadly the only negative was that the specials menu was given to us and when we placed our order the special main meal wasn't available which is what I would have liked. Can't see the point of giving you the choice of the specials menu when it has already sold out. Apart from that, a great night.
Didn't like the food.
The service also was not that good. All in all, I would not recommend this place for a dinner.
There is simply nothing special about this restaurant. Food portions are relatively small and the taste was nothing spectacular. We had reservations but were seated in the bar area. Server was good but they seem to push you along.
Food and service very good. Was puzzlingly quiet for a Friday night.
hidden away behind station but ideally located after a trip to Hyde park or Oxford street
Relaxed atmosphere. Downstairs much better
We visited for dinner after a trip to winter wonderland. Lovely restaurant, staff were wonderful. Great selection of food and was very tasty. Would definitely recommend!
Wonderful meal and service. Staff very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We were seated in a secluded corner, very romantic and made a very enjoyable end to a wonderful night. Food was outstanding, would recommend and we plan to go back again.
The service was okay, we had to wait very long for our drink, so not outstanding. The pizza is very good, and the dessert as well, but its too pricey when ypu compare it to other places.
when i saw the name of the place i didn't expect much, but i must say that the place is great and the food is very good.
We where full from the starter itself (sea food mix) which was very good.
the pasta was great too (carbonara and special).
you can see the quality of the place when they pouring fresh grana padano to your plate.
The risotto with the asparagus was delicious!!! Good service also very friendly!
Wonderful Saturday lunch - the service was outstanding - thank you Piotr. The whitebait was some of the best I've ever had - not too big and not greasy. The salmon was well cooked and the pane cotta was divine! My partner had the asparagus - perfectly cooked, a brilliant spaghetti bolognese - the only negative was the semi-alfredo which was a bit heavy on the cinnamon - the waiter's wine recommendation was much appreciated. Will go again.
The restaurant is a good choice for Italian food. The food was good and fast. The service was just okay. We were waiting for a table and the manager came across as rude when he asked us (and others) to wait in a different area and the waitress had too many tables so she could not give any of them the proper attention. It was reasonably priced.
One of our favourite restaurants to eat good food and sit and chat for hours with friends. Great specials with big choice of pasta and pizza and yummy desert and coffee too. Friendly staff and a really comfortable restaurant.
Great restaurant with very friendly staff and ambience. The food is consistently good quality and we always enjoy our meal here. Never feel rushed and can happily sit and chat for hours. Fab desert and coffee combined option on the coffee menu. Worth looking out for this.
Service was fantastic and both the food and menu were great to. Will definately go back. Booked for after the theatre for New Years Eve and had a lovely evening. Our waitress really looked after us and made the night very special. We both enjoyed great food tucked away in a romantic corner and there was so much choice on the menu. Thanks to everyone.
This is the second time I have eaten at a Spaghetti House and have thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. This was part of our office Christmas do and they didn't disappoint. Although this is a chain it doesn't feel like it, you are made to feel very welcome and the service is extremely good. The food was good although my starter was a little bland the rest of the meal made up for it. Staff very attentive and the Manager was extremely professional and everyone seemed very happy. Will always consider Spaghetti House when up in London in the future.
Food good Italian dishes, priced very fairly for the central London location.
The experience was excellent. Food and service very good. Will definitely book again
Food was reasonable and very hot. My husband had meatballs which were cheap and poor.
Sat waiting a good 10 minutes on entry before we were given menus and drinks order taken
Most staff were friendly - Took child to the toilet to find that there was very little toilet paper left. Toilets were messy - informed waitress who said she'd sort it - returned to toilets 15 mins later and still no toilet paper. When I informed the staff member behind the bar, he didn't even speak to me, just pointed to someone else.
On the plus side, the waiters were friendly and good with children.
Having not been in a Spaghetti House for many years we were very pleasantly surprised. Friendly welcome by staff.
Food was great.
Service was excellent.
Ambience was so so as not many people at the time we visited..
A good find down a quiet street away from hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. Highly recommended and good value for money!
Went for lunch - had a great meal and the location was really convenient for where we were moving on to afterwards. Spaghetti House never disappoints - always good for a relatively inexpensive time out.
Nice restaurant and good food - we went there as a meeting point before a concert in Hyde Park and it suited our needs. Service varies depending on how busy they are, otherwise a satisfactory place for simple Italian fare.
Went here for a quick meal with my sister before an event we were going to. Service was friendly and quick and food was good- had a burger and pizza. Was quiet, but it was a Wednesday evening. Would recommend as place to grab a quick bite to eat if you're looking for somewhere in this area
