Spaghetti House Sicilian Avenue
The Sicilian Avenue restaurant is the prettiest of this chain. The service was very good and friendly. The food was of a reasonably high standard and it was good value.
Lovely food, good service, nice staff. Perfect for an early dinner before theatre.
A lovely restaurant on Sicilian St. We were cordially greeted and shown to our table. Our Waiter Filippo provided outstanding service, while helping us with our dinner choices. Our dinner was served with a flair and looked fantastic. My Tagliatelle Pollo and Asparagus was delicious with lots of chicken and asparagus. My Wife had Pollo Alla Milanese which she loved.
As we were leaving we thanked the three chef kitchen team for a great meal and were walked to the door by Filippo. Another couple were coming in and we mentioned our great experience and they advised this was their second night in a row for dinner at the Spaghetti House.
Nice place for a catch up. Staff friendly and helpful.
I think Spaghetti House is living in the past.
The three dishes we had were all pasta and all very bland and I would swear the meatballs I ordered seem to have been defrosted and reheated due to the amount of water coming out of them.
There are many new Italians offering fresh pasta and charging less than we were billed last.
It was a blast from past that I won’t be doing again .
Very slow service. Food disappointing, saute potatoes too dry. Not great value
This chain of Italian restaurants in London always delivers delicious food at very reasonable prices.
We had a fab meal. We had wanted to east outside if the weather permitted. The restaurant kindly set pu 2 tables one inside and one outside so we could decide on the day. All the food was amazing particularly the seafood pasta dish I had. Aleisurely 3 hour lunch in the sun. We will return.
The Reservation booked for 9:30 pm was not accepted by the restaurant attendant. We arrived around 9:20 pm but the young girl attendant , who was not nice , told us the kitchen was already closed.
Lovely Italian Spaghetti house. Great service with a smile, decent pasta and pizza, very good wines. Would return!
Excellent food, charming - not too posh - restaurant with nice service. Good place for long conversation with friend. A bit more pricey than other authentic Italian restaurants in Kensington though.
A very pleasant lunch, food was very tasty and the service was lovely. The restaurant wasn't too busy and we were not hurried at all.
Lovely food and service! Well priced, with a broad menu.
Quick service. Good serving size.
A very enjoyable evening, made extra special by a delicious tiramisu "on the house" for a special birthday dinner. A very fruity Chianti to go with the meal. We have been coming here for 40 years and it never disappoints.
Have been coming here for years. Visited after seeing a show, enjoyable meal and good value.
This was a lunch date to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I go to this spaghetti house a lot. Our appetisers and drinks came promptly but after 1 hour 15 still no mains when I chased I was told it had been forgotten. They were then brought very promptly and the cost of the mains taken off the bill but it did mean that the lunch had taken 2.30 hours. The food was very tasty and I have never had an issue like this before so I have put it down to a blip and as they apologised and refunded the cost I will be back.
Lovely atmosphere and good food made with quality ingredients. Friendly, attentive staff. We booked online and selected the three course offer for £19.95 but unfortunately didn’t make it to dessert because the servings were just too big. We called off dessert because we didn’t want to waste even more food. Scaling down the serving size would earn that extra star- we paid in full and I was surprised that there was no offer of coffee or tea as a substitute or as a gesture of goodwill. We know for next time!
Possibly the worst restaurant I have been to in years.
A convenient local venue offering tasty good food at reasonable prices with an exceptional set menu 'Offer'. Lively and jolly staff dashing between the indoor and buzzy outdoor space that's perfect when the sun shines ! A genuine Italian feel between staff and ambiance, so ideal for both 'Locals' and Tourists alike ...
Great venue and food
Great! Wonderful experience
Well cooked meal with balanced taste.
Family lunch. Good extensive menu. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara which was really very good indeed. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff very nice.
I have used this restaurant for more than 30 years and have always my visits
We were looking for somewhere for an inexpensive post theatre meal and this restaurant fitted the bill. The meal was really nice, with a pleasant atmosphere and only a short walk from the theatres in the Covent Garden/Dury Lane area and the Central Line for the journey home.
Arrived and the restaurant didn’t have my booking. Not their fault. Considering it was the Christmas party season, they managed to seat us and was absolutely lovely.
It was not a very positive experience. Only the pasta with meatballs was ok, the rest of our meal varied between too oily and undercooked pasta (not al dente no); two filets with breadcrump coating that was no way near crisp, just soggy. The desserts were ok, but not interesting. Sorry, but it can be done much better!
Had a lovely evening with friends. Nice Chrismasy atmosphere, relaxing, casual and unrushed. The 2 or 3 course Christmas menu had plenty of choices, is very good value and includes quite a lot of wine, so no need to spend any extra on drinks unless, of course, you want to. Food was very good and the service very attentive. We couldn't have wished for a more pleasant Christmas get together.
Went there for a quick meal and catch up, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was very good and the restaurant was clean and had a nice cosy feel.
Excellent for many occasions. Food delicious with friendly, efficient staff.
I've been to Spaghetti House at lunch and the food has been great. On this occasion, I dined in the evening and the good was mediocre. Not sure why.
The Spaghetti House gives dependably good food in a very pleasant dining space. Impeccable service and a good wine list.
Food was awesome and relatively inexpensive. They also timed the food perfectly so you had time to digest before your next course came.
A firm favourite when visiting London good food, great staff and lovely location.
Food was great and location perfect for us. They however do not accept Open Table Dining cheques, despite saying they do when I rang ahead, and they are also not featured on the list of restaurants not accepting them. Otherwise all was fine.
A very Genuine Italian restaurant a stone's throw from Holborn station. Wonderful food and remarkable value.
Friendly service, good food and enjoyable ambiance with large windows looking onto interesting pedestrian street setting. Could happily while away a few hours over an long lunch here.
