Actually my birthday dinner but we come here frequently. NYC quality steakhouse at suburban prices. Friendly attentive staff My favorite restaurant in the NY Metro area period all things considered (quality, value etc)

Wow. Simply, wow.
Experience a premium steakhouse without traveling to NYC. The food was fantastic and the service was even better.

First time dining at Sparkill Steakhouse. Had the Bacon Slab, Cottage Fries and Onion Rings, Steak for 2 And it was perfect.
Can’t wait to go back again. The place was very nice , the staff were awesome and the food was as good as it gets.

The food and the service was good. We advised them in advance we were celebrating a birthday. They didn’t do anything special for that but did for another table. However overall it was a good experience and we will return.

Maybe because it is a "steakhouse", I'd stay away from the salmon. It is dry, overcooked. (second time ordering it). Everything is a la carte, so if you like vegetables, the tab rises very quickly from an already overpriced entree.

Beautiful restaurant, Service was mediocre, food was ok, not what I expected for a steak house. Main dish was priced well, but the sides were “family “ style and extremely small for what we paid. The steak was just plopped on a plate, like I just took it off the bbq..... no garnish. Poor presentation.
Would I return? Probably not. Sorry😢

We had a very nice time at this restaurant. The service was first rate and the food was very good. We had the porterhouse for two which was cooked to perfection.

As always, food was great. Service was on point and it always helps when the staff remembers you and takes great care of you.

This is a great restaurant and the quality of the steak is excellent- We tried a few appetizers and all were prepared well. We sat outside due to covid measures and felt comfortable- I am not sure if I would be willing to eat indoors as the tables didn't look all that separate - the bartender also didn't have his mask on the whole time- we had paid our bill otherwise would have said something- we will be back and hoping they will install heaters or a tent for the upcoming winter months

My husband took me here for my birthday because it’s my favorite restaurant. As usual, the food was amazing. Everyone was very nice, as they always are. They even brought us a glass of champagne to celebrate my birthday. I will never go to any other steakhouse but Sparkill!

Sparkhill sets the bar for service,food quality and ambiance. There is no restaurant that can even come close. We can’t get enough of this place. Bravo guys. Your the best !!!

Great experience.

Overall the service was excellent! I ordered surf and turf - fillet was cooked to perfection but the lobster tail was bad! I don’t know if it was old due to the restaurant closing for so long or if it was simply overlooked by the chef who prepared it! It looked ok when I received it but when I started eating it I was overwhelmed by a strong ammonia taste in which I luckily caught and didn’t swallow! The staff handled the situation very professionally but I do have to say I would be cautious about returning back..

My family enjoyed dinner so much. Steak, lobster, calamari are especially so good and dessert, too. We will definitely come back.

Excellent steak. Rivals any NYC steakhouse including Lugers. That's all you need to know.
