   First trip to Spencer's, highly encouraged by friend's recommendation. An excellent restaurant in every way. The menu is admirably diverse. It was nice to have the choice of prix fixe (summer and other) as well as a la carte choices. Everyone was friendly, efficient, professional, and welcoming, from the front desk to the valet parking attendants.

   Great evening!! The summer prix fixe menu has some super values!! My wife loved her whitefish , and my steak was both tasty and properly cooked! The butter cake was YUMMY! We hadn’t been to Spencer’s in close to 20 years, we will certainly be back again soon!!!

   The food was bland and over cooked. Server keep asking how ‘we were doing’ never once inquiring about our meal - even the cocktails were off point. A slightly dirty martini was filthy. Very disappointing.

   Lovely dinner! Lively atmosphere! Great food with a knowledgeable server. From appetizers to desserts, we really enjoyed it all. Appreciate the note of GF on the menu along with the detailed listing of items with each dish. Did not appreciate the requirements of showing vaccination card in order to dine here. Host said this is a requirement of the owner. While our party has them, not in agreement with the imposition. We travel and eat out quite a bit and have not experienced a restaurant be quite this invasive.

    Great food! Everything we ordered was perfect. I loved the summer prix fixe menu! The service was impeccable and everyone was so kind. Make sure to go on their website for their policies. We saw a family get turned away for not having their vaccine cards.

    Service and food were outstanding; every item was delicious, soup, Kung Pao Calamari, filet & lobster. Wine list is massive, but pricey; very few bottles under $100. Outdoor ambiance was nice, but not world-class. Could really use misters to drop the temperature a bit in the summer. Great for special occasions, but overpriced even as good as the food and service are.

    The Coconut Shrimp is truly delicious. I had a Caesar Salad and the shrimp and my tastes buds were happy. Great drinks and yes they abide by the vaccinate mandates. Refused entrance to a woman who didn't have her vaccine card. They do abide by the rules. Go there.

    Always a great experience at Spencer’s. Been going here for over 20 years. Took my best friend out for her birthday. Had the prefixed brunch $42.00. Had the eggs Benedict with salmon. Delish! Service always very good, and love the ambiance very warm and inviting.

    Our server, Troy, was excellent at what he does as are the assistants. The ambiance is really good. The food was really good upscale company banquet/nice country club fair. The menu is large. We might come back to try dinner. But it will be after we try all the other offerings Palm Springs has.

    Never disappoints. Staff is always friendly and well trained. I REALLY appreciate that they are still masking and asking for proof of vaccination in order to dine there. Way to GOOOO!

    We arrived and we’re promptly and courteously greeted, we provided our vaccine cards and were brought to our perfect outdoor table under large shady trees. We orders cocktails our server was attentive but not overbearing. The $59 3 course menu was a great selection for 2 of our party, with plenary of options without belting too much. I deviated from this option as I had to have the diver sole which was perfect. The soup of the day was lobster bisque also well prepared. We ran a bit over out two hour max but never felt rushed. We will definitely return soon.

    Before I start the review, it’s time to get rid of the crazy vaccination requirement. That’s over everywhere. That being sad, we have been going to Spencer‘s for decades. I have never had a bad experience, bad service, or bad food. Everything is excellent. The staff is so on point, so friendly and so accommodating that it makes most other places pale by comparison. There is something special about the place and they’ve always accommodated my request to be seated at a certain table. Spencer’s is nestled among the hills in Palm Springs and the atmosphere is calming, and elegant. We will be returning to Spencer’s as long as they are there and we are on this earth. Looking forward to the next visit.

    Everything was great last night for Father’s Day. The food was great like usual. We love the new summer pre fix menu with all the new entree item. I had the steak. Everything was great and the service was great. I hate to complain about something but every time we go here the valet is not very friendly and does not open the doors for my mom and me in the back. We will be back again because this is one of our favorite restaurants.

    When booking our reservation, Spencers never said ANYTHING about having proof of vaccination. When we arrived, they turned us away and said we would have to return home to get proof of vaccination. Seriously? NO restaurants require this anymore. We don't have an issue with providing it but WHY didn't they tell us this in advance? The diners ahead of us were also complaining for the very same reason. Second, the hostesses really need to go back to charm school. The could not be more unpleasant. Last, once we finished dessert, our waiter was nowhere to be found. We asked for the bill three times. It took 30 minutes. We're going to try other restaurants in Palm Springs. Spencers is completely overrated.

    One of my favorite places for brunch however..... french fries came cold. Not just lukewarm, like really cold. Then it took forever to get new ones. I was done with my lunch when they came. Then we ordered a carajilla which is on their drinks menu. Came totally wrong because the bartender doesn't know how to make the cocktail. So we sent it back with instructions on what to do. Still not great and when the check came there was an "upcharge" for the cocktail. Presumably because we had him make it with espresso, which is they way you are supposed to make it! They did take it off the bill, but I was shocked they even charged us when clearly the bartender doesn't know how to make a drink that's on their menu.

    We had three servers but they kept interrupting our conversations. Also, they were communicating to each other. We ordered and re-ordered our drinks with each server. We expected it to be pricey since we were there for Father's Day, but boy did they exceed my thoughts of price gouging on a holiday. Food is good but small portions. It has definitely not returned to pre-COVID days. They used to offer a fruit plate with entrees but now it is an upcharge. We ate inside on purpose to be able to hear each other. Tables are too close together. You are in your neighbor's conversation and they are in yours. At those prices, we would expect a better spacing for privacy.

    It was a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic and the waiter was super! I was dining alone and he took great care of me. I asked for an order to go and was pleased to have it ready as soon as I paid the bill!

    Alejandra the hostess ALWAYS remembers us & makes us feel welcomed. Daniel our server was right on point with everything we needed and very attentive. We’ve had Daniel in the past and he’s always 200% on top of everything so that we have an enjoyable evening at our favorite restaurant. Thank you to both and all the staff at Spencer’s.
