Beautiful food, drink, service and setting. Absolutely great.
We had the scratch menu this time which was excellent together with very good service from the sommelier.
Our new favourite place in London for an upmarket meal. Truly wonderful food, professional yet relaxed approach, friendly staff, beautiful ambiance. In short - terrific!
Beautiful surroundings and calm happy staff who could not have been more helpful or attentive. The menu was interesting and mouthwatering- I did feel it was very expensive though -as a treat this is a wonderful restaurant -and as a birthday treat is was lovely - I imagine probably just in line with LONDON prices!
First class food and great produce. My only criticism £12 for a small tiny glass of very average Grappa is excessive.
We went to try the Scratch menu - which is trying to reduce waste by offering a daily early evening menu using ingredients which could be going to waste. I love the concept. The experience at Spring was perfect - beautiful space, the food we had was delicious and warm service.
Lovely setting and good choice of wines. Bread and butter, white table cloths, lighting lovely. Salads fresh and nice choice of foods.
Too much butter overall in everything we have ever tasted there...
Delightful elegant restaurant with excellent food.
Light & airy, very deft. One of the prettiest restaurants in London
Wonderful setting. Excellent service. We had the scratch menu which was perfectly curated. Great selection of wines of which many were by the glass.
Took some friends from NY here because it’s so beautiful and in a great location - I’d been before we found that everything was just fine - not exceptional - it seems to be a place for corporate dining and high end tourism
Yet again a wonderful evening with old friends in Spring: beautiful service, excellent wines and advice, brilliant food and all in an unusual and stunning space.
The most delicious food in the most beautiful dining room in London!
Amazing food in an amazing space with faultless service. Grand ovcasion dinong at its best.
The combinations of ingredients on the dish were brilliant, who would think that grilled trout with grilled peppers and a nut sauce would be transporting! It was.
As always the food was a joy to look at and the ingredients super fresh and often unusual. The guinea fowl which both my husband and I ordered was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Starters were difficult to choose from as there were so many tempting possibilities. We frequently come to Spring as it is possible to dine on top quality dishes healthily which is very important to us. Oils and dairy produce are used sparingly, and dishes are not loaded up with processed carbohydrates. I also very much appreciate that all fruit and vegetables are seasonal and as locally sourced as possible.
Highly recommend the Scratch Menu - a great idea! The food was delicious too.
Wonderful light room great staff outstanding food would come again
The service was slow, although this may have been deliberate.
The Champagne pour was very meager. A half-glass at best.
Food was delicious. Ambiance absolutely lovely.
We loved the food, the ambiance and the service was very efficient. Shame our first choice of dessert was sold out!
Such an elegant and calm atmosphere, with unhurried service and delicious, inventive modern British food. A delight.
Stellar Team, Food, ambiance, interior design!!
Amazing food and gorgeous dining room. Very expensive.
We were the 6 of us celebrating various birthdays. The food was really good. The Tagliolini starter was a clear winner. We had some lovely lamb and beef as well. Tasty and not over bearing. A little minus on the desert as they were out of chocolate !
Delicious food beautifully presented and welcoming and attentive service
Hello, I celebrated my birthday. We received such a warm welcome from Mark Gleed and everyone at Spring was absolutely lovely and attentive. The food was delicious , thank you for a great evening! Sarah
Spring is a very beautiful restaurant. Well thought out design, soothing colors, whimsical light fixtures, and fresh flowers in the ladies room. The appetizers, especially the scallops- roe attached, with preserved lemon butter and wild fennel, and the tortellini with mushrooms were exceptional , as was the braised rabbit with saffron. My main course of halibut with corn was over cooked and didn’t really work as a concept. Wine was too warm, provoking a quarrel with the bartender, and the thimble full of espresso was tepid at best. Finally the dessert selection was uninspired. The almond milk panna cotta with “peaches” had an odd taste, with three paper thin slices of peach as more of a garnish. It was left mostly uneaten. Spring came strongly recommended, so my expectations were high. A mixed experience in the end....
Spring is outstanding. We took advantage of the Scratch Menu which was absolutely delicious and outstanding value, but are now intending to return for the a la carte menu.
We enjoyed the scratch menu available 5:30-6:30. Portions aren’t huge but they are really tasty and loved the concept. Main menu is quite pricey but if it is the same quality food then worth it. Wine is expensive, we had house wine and very acceptable. Service initially was very attentive but later they left us to talk without clearing us off the table
I was here last Saturday to celebrate my bf's birthday. The set up was really beautiful, and the food was tasty as well. Unfortunately, one of the beautiful plant room with glass ceiling was closed for a private event. Otherwise, it was a perfect night.
Superb and very reasonably priced scratch menu. The best service we have experienced in a long time. Even suitable for our six year old, who was well looked after. We will be back.
Great food, beautiful room and space. Incredibly slow and inattentive service.
Superb food & room. However a very bad smell of sewer/ pipes in the venue- not sure if this is an ongoing problem. It was really off-putting. I hope it was just a once off problem! Also the entrance into the venue could do with a lick of paint but apart from all that, good amazing and room stunning. I would go back if smell not there!
Delightful, beautiful space, delicious food and perfect service! Everything was just lovely. The hosts at the front, the waiters and the wine sommelier - everyone- was just lovely. No pretense. Will definitely be back and tell others. Food was amazing!!
Amazing food, wine and ambiance. My wife & I liked it so much, we returned the following night!
The taglioni was disappointing, somewhat overcooked and with too much lemon juice, which dominated the flavour, but the halibut was excellent. The noise level was only just bearable. I noticed that both times the lights were dimmed people lowered their voices.
This was my fourth visit. For one of my guests it was their second time, while one other had made it their third, having decided to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary with a Family Lunch during the week before. The first timer making up the rest of our party thought it was a truly wonderful venue. Good food, great ambience, you could hear yourself talk and above all, the service was attentive while not being intrusive. My first evening meal after three Lunchtime visits for Business Lunches and still didn't disappoint. I hope they keep up, what is for me, a very high standard.
The ambience is outstanding and the service average.
The scratch menu is healthy but I had to eat again after the theatre when I got home
I am going
Clean look, understated vibe, outstanding food, pleasantly served. The complete package.
Spring produces good quality continental food with a cool natural wine list. But unfortunately was disappointed with the hard frozen semifreddo dessert and the totally overboard bill.
Yves I will sertaly high recomanded the location is beautiful the food is very nice and the service is outstanding
