Good food and friendly staff in a very central and interesting environment. Expensive and 15% service charge is excessive. Otherwise very good.
A very beautiful space and helpful staff, but we made the mistake of trying out the scratch menu, which is ostensibly a good idea environmentally etc and seemed ideal as a pre-concert lightish meal. Unfortunately, it was pretty clear that the chef's heart wasn't in it - it was all stuff I could have made at home myself easily enough with fridge leftovers - and I suppose that makes sense, given the number of presumably wealthy people happily ordering from the expensive main menu eve at the early hour we were there, but the experience felt cursory, and of course you choose your (excellent) wine from a list that matches main-menu prices. So no, I won't be doing that again.
Delicious scratch menu, a joy not having to make any decisions.
Impressive setting, nice ambiance. Staff was friendly but not really attentive. Food well prepared and nicely presented (except for the langoustine starter, which were just 5 very small grilled langoustines on a plate without anything else, at £25!), but small portions. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which came already opened to the table (rather unusual).
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Quality from start to end. Service was impeccable. Attentive, not too much or too forceful.
A superb dining experience.
A beautiful room with attention to detail in the food and presentation. Lunch prix fix a great way to experience the quality of the menu. Don’t skip dessert, the merengue was outstanding!
Excellent food fantastic interior design great service loved it!!!
Tables are nicely spaced and there is an air of calmness that is welcome and different to a lot of restaurants in London.
I loved the simplicity and grandeur of this space.. the porcelain ceramic installation, exquisite lighting, the branches of magnolia to the starched white tablecloths.
The sustainable scratch menu was a nice touch, the food was presented timely, beautifully and was delicious. You aren’t rushed, a lovely room to meet up, chat and enjoy a wonderful meal!
The lemon dessert was very bitter, the rest of the meal was delicisous
Service was poor and food not great, when requests were made it was not followed up
I ordered the set lunch menu. The parsnip soup was fantastic. The mains and ending were just so so.
This was our second visit to Spring so the first visit can't have been too bad - but it was in the summer and you could actually read the menu without difficulty. This time the lighting was so bad someone at a nearby table was using the torch on their phone to read it.
Too noisy - we could hardly hear ourselves speak.
For the prices they charge I would expect food that excited but it was just dull. Starter dominated by the overwhelming taste of celery tops.
Main course - trout fillet- had little taste and only just cooked.
Dessert the only good part - but difficult to go wrong with the flavours of chocolate and orange.
Hugely enjoyable. Much like the wholesome principles of the kitchen and the low waste philosophy.
Fabulous winterval lunch with colleagues, and really uplifting spring-inducing interiors when it was very murky and rainy outside
Never disappoints. Food, Service and Ambience of the highest quality, which makes it all value for money on any special occasion or business lunch.
I love this restaurant. Superb food, attentive service and lovely wines all in a great setting.
We were recommended Spring by some friends. We enjoyed a lovely lunch on a miserable London day!
I had the lamb for main course which was beyond tasty BUT the side of roast potatoes was to die for!!
It needs to be done!!😊
Beautiful restaurant, excellent service, wonderful food using local ingredients & considered design. Very well balanced and well seasoned food.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. Food and drinks are fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
Really enjoyable dining experience. The entrance, interior and decor were all beautiful and the food was delicious. Our sommelier and waiter were both brilliant. We had a really lovely meal and evening.
We went for the scratch menu where you have three courses created by Spring out of leftovers or excess food. It was excellent value and ideal for a quick early evening meal.
Whole experience uplifting. Attentive service delicious food and good value for set price lunch menu.
Wonderful food, when empty very cold look and once full very noisy. Could do with something that absorbs more the rather loud chatter. Not ideal x a date.
Fun. Great food. Amazing fresh vegetables from Fern farm. Amazing beef. Excellent wine list, not overpriced. Would eat here again in a heartbeat (despite serious high food prices).
A nice decorated place, very good service, attentive and friendly staff; as for the food my fish was excellent, my husband’s lamb was at least 70 years old and chewy.
Absolutely amazing experience. The food was top notch, the restaurant itself was gorgeous. Great location in Somerset House. One of my favorite dining experiences of all time.
Visited on way to national theatre ,we had the scratch menu which was ok,and the idea of using left over food is a great idea, just a pity there was not more of it.
Staff were very pleasant and professional, the restaurant is just off the bridge, and very well furnished.
Our favourite local restaurant sinceit opened. You cannot beat the food or service!
Absolutely. Impeccable service, exquisite food, wonderful ambience. Faultless.
Truly one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed. My three guests were all similarly impressed.
I will be back, as often as I can!
Lovely atmosphere with friendly yet focused service and Italian style ingredients at there finest it does not get better in this (very) experienced customers opinion
I have been numerous times since this restaurant opened and have never been disappointed
Great food. Friendly staff.
Excellent food all round and great service. Will be back soon and definitely recommend to friends.
Sublime. Everything about eating at Spring is my favourite treat. Great food, wine and service in an elegant setting.
We had a table of 6 to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We all loved Spring including my husband who was paying the bill! The food was absolutely delicious, different but not too fussy. Everything was beautifully presented by lovely staff. They also did a little birthday pudding with candle, even though I hadn't pre-ordered one but only asked when we were at the restaurant.
Really nice decorations. The food is simple and delicious. Reccomend it to everyone.
Spectacular food and wine in spectacular setting. Not cheap though
Excellent dining experience. Food outstanding - particularly the Sea bass and Gnudli. Cant recommend enough.
The food is nice - but not amazing, the prices are high so it should be tasty. The dining room is beautiful. The staff are lovely people but service itself is haphazard. Drinks were forgotten, we were sitting for 30 minutes before our order was taken. Average.
Once again a really wonderful dining experience with which my guest was very impressed.
