Food was not good this time. My daughter and I both got sick afterwards. $18 for a pizza that tastes like the tomato was washed in bleach. My lamb was dry and way over cooked. They really need to find a real a chef and a better green grocery. The food ideas sound and could be great. It's just so bland and lifeless. They always have something on the menu that is unavailable. This time it was the octopus. The location is basically a hall way. Asked for a port at the end of the meal. The gave me a wine glass full. I don't think they understand what a glass of port is. Really an epic fail.

Food and ambiance were good but the service was absolutely awful. The server did not check on the table at all, we had to ask for water 3 times before we finally got it. I could understand if the restaurant was busy, but there were several empty tables. We will not be going back.

Ordered meals only to be told they were sold out of our choices. Ordered again-food was horrible. Served warm cocktails had to ask for ice to chill ourselves. We would have been better off skipping a meal.

It was good. It was nothing out of this world. Had I not been staying at the Grand Cascades Lodge I wouldn’t have gone here. The prices are a little high but so is the Hotel prices, for a casual date it’s a good spot

Food and service were good. It was very loud so no quiet conversation which we prefer.

Ambience is very nice. There is an outdoor patio-seating is weather dependent. The food was good-ordered the mozzarella-which was a little dry. M
Major negatives:
+Our entrees came out shortly after our appetizers arrived
+Attempted to get an after dinner drink at the bar-bartender was not attentive to us or the fact that there was a 6 year old child sitting at the bar.

not a good experience. first off - menu on the website & OpenTable is out-dated (2016); 85% of food we had was UNDER-SEASONED; 2 of my friends ordered spaghetti dish that was described with clams, mussels, plum tomatoes was NOT served with clams & plum tomatoes (server did not mention it); food came out SLOW. INCREDIBLY disappointing, especially for the price!

Food was mediocre. Not horrible but definitely not worth the price. Portions were also small.

My ONLY positive about this restaurant was the hostess who was pleasant. We were put in the side room which was boiling hot. A waitress turned the air up, and our horrible and rude waiter (male) turned it back down.

This same waiter when taking our order acted like he was doing us a favor. He was probably one of the worst waiters I've ever had. He didn't take even an appetizer order for 20+ minutes. He was rude about the food choices we were making.

I watched him put his hand on my straw (which didn't have a wrapper) and then he slammed the drink down next to me, not in front of me.

He turned the lights all the way up and another table who was also fed up with his bad attitude said something. No apology, no sincerity and said he didn't know who did it (he did it!).

The food was very small portions, not good, not authentic Italian and was pricey.

I would not recommend anyone eat here!! EVER!!

At least if your going to be a jerk waiter, be a jerk waiter at a five star restaurant. This is a zero star resturant. This disgruntled employee needs to be fired.

My wife's fish came out raw. We told the manager who was not apologetic at all. He was quite rude and arrogant. Our waiter was nice, but the manager's attitude was horrible. The food was so-so, so the combination of the manager and mediocre food would keep me away. Too bad, because sitting outside was nice and the view isn't bad.

The restaurant was cozy and comfortable. The waiter was nice, and sat us right by the window. He was also personable and funny. The food was very good and akin to some of the steak houses I have gone to in NYC. The food was reasonably priced (the bill was only 160 for the 2 of us). We got a bottle of wine, which was also reasonably priced. The food came quickly, but was also perfectly cooked. I got the steak (bone-in), and my boyfriend got the venison. The meatball appetizer was good, and the dessert was also very good (we each got one).

HOWEVER, this place does attract an undesirable crowd. There was a man with two irate screaming children. I understand that they can be fussy, but when two of your children are rolling around on the floor screaming, you should probably remove them from the restaurant. He was also screaming on the phone (on speaker) and cursing incessantly. When I tried to get my table moved, I was told that was not possible (even though there were many open tables in the other room that were open, and I came with a reservation). I thought that was unfair. I'm not sure I would go there again for that reason.

The Spring Bistro has an amazing menu. The service and food were fantastic. Neil our waiter is a real gem as was the bartender Kim. I think you will like it. The only issue is the tables are actually in the lobby or a conference room next to the lobby. So with all kids running around it get loud.

I reserved well heads-up thru opentable and received re-confirmation call from the restaurant on the very day of the reservation(I could not take the call but called back later to confirm it), however when we arrived on time at the restaurant i was a bid surprised to hear that we were on the "waiting list" instead of "reserved", based on the excuse that, we were not the 'club members'. Eventually without much time to wait we were placed near the entrance in 'impromptu' table and chairs. Waters and foods were so nice for us to enjoy the Christmas Dinner, while only the reservation handling mentioned above was what I never had expected.
